You should do a segment on me getting arrested for having a radio scanner in my car. I use it to listen to trains but I got arrested in Kentucky for having it in my car. My car was impounded for several day and I was taken to jail. I am a licensed amateur radio operator and I legally had the radio in my car. I could not convince the cops of the law and I had to prove my innocence in court at my own expense. I no longer blindly support the police.

He lied, he knew arresting and having children kidnapped by social services is violence. The sargeant also knew the officers were nazi trash like he is. They were obviously doing something wrong. Hence needing to be hid from public accountability.
The problem was that the police officers were stopping him from filming the traffic stop, I dont understand what happened after that.

@@Ididntwantthishandle I get being nervous of the situation, but approaching someone who may be threatening your life sounds counterproductive to me. I can't imagine the smart move being to approach the suspicious vehicle and talk to the person within it if there is no legal justification for doing so and no suspicion of an actual crime being or about to be committed. The only reason he "interfered" with their traffic stop was because the officers decided to 'be' interfered with and approached him. If he simply filmed from the side, there would be no interference, and he was not talking to them or trying to impact their ability to do their job. The officers manufactured the interference by engaging with him. Also, the lady cop was super hostile and not at all trying to deescalate the situation. Bad marks were appropriate for them.
That said, man is that guy annoying. I gotta give props to the Sergeant for being able to maintain his cool against the constant barrage of negativity and annoyance. This guy obviously gets off on causing as much trouble as he is allowed to legally which I think makes other auditors look bad by association. Definitely didn't deserve a B+.

Unlike you who loses their composure so easily, people like this who know how to keep their cool while dealing with stressful and even dangerous situation are intelligent. The other cops may have been in the wrong, but this does not reflect on the supervisors actions in that not only did he try to diffuse the situation, but he also tried to explain to the civilian what was going on. Cops don't have to explain sht. So this cop was actually being courteous. Now if you are educated about what real bad cops are like, you would not be calling this cop garbage. This means you clearly have an undereducated level of experience with cops. Come at me bruh.

The conversation with the Sargeant went off track. The issue was the man's right to film and his interaction with the other officers. The issue of police discretion or lack thereof regarding arrests is a different issue; comparing the officer to the war criminals from WWII (Nuremberg) only escalates and exacerbates the tone.

Dad: "Not quite, i need to pull over and record this traffic stop in hopes of getting something i can upload to youtube"
Seriously, instead of learning about the Constitution and our rights, they are getting a lesson in how NOT to behave. There are better ways to do this, although I admit sometimes it is just impossible with law enforcement to keep your cool as a civilian.
@@katyafan Like the narrator said there is no law that says a police officer has to tell you the reason for an arrest. You can find it in public records. But it's a douche move to come upon a traffic stop and demand to know why someone is being arrested. It's none of your damn business. If he is so concerned he can get the police blotter for that night and find out why this individual was arrested. Like he said it's public record. I think the police showed a lot of restraint.
At about 10 minutes he was CLEARLY just trying to make a scene/content by challenging the legitimacy of the original traffic stop. I had to fast forward because it was so desperate... He should have stuck to the issue of the officers threatening to arrest him for executing his 1st amendment rights

He is doing exactly what cops do. In a way I give him some lee way on it, as its systemic by the Police which he is interacting with. Live by the sword, die by the sword in a sense. I think the only Karen here is the guy who kidnaps his wife and kids to start arguments with cops on the streets, who are handling a situation he has nothing to do with or knows anything about. I have a cousin who is like this. She's almost 50 and still acts like a teenager. She failed so hard as a mother that the state of Texas granted her ex-husband FULL custody of their kids and barred her from visiting them. And that was just by the sheer negligence on her part. She was going to fight it until they told her if she did they would investigate to see if criminal charges needed to be brought up. One of the rare times she was wise enough to let it go. She would fit right in with this group. Has a massive persecution complex.
The guy lives in Mexico. He decided to go there since he has a couple of warrants is the theory. I would like to see if he tries to do that to the Mexican police.

Seeing really attractive female cops makes me think of what tends to happen on Discord servers when there are really attractive or cute women as moderators. There are two phenomenon that will usually play out. First, the anti-social men that like to cause chaos will thirst over their attention. A lot of these guys have no regular means of talking to a girl like this in a situation where she is compelled to keep the conversation going and invested in what they are saying. They will use her obligation as an enforcer of laws/rules to keep her engaged as long as possible by causing small disruptions without going too far; if they go too far, they either get arrested or banned and the fun is over. The other thing that happens is that pretty much everyone will think that the only reason she has her power is her looks and they will inherently not respect her. How people manifest this belief in reality differs; some will be overly nice in the hopes she's just an idiot that can't resist someone that compliments and praises her; some will be openly hostile about it and tell her exactly what they think (usually drunk/high) and some will just wait until later to talk behind her back. Either way, they don't respect her and treat her like people suspected of being affirmative action or clout hires. I actually don't think this specific guy is causing all this mayhem just to increase the amount of time he spends interacting with the female officer, it seems he is passionate about this issue and this is pretty much what he is about. Having her there must have been a bonus tho... unless he is gay or asexual, which are pretty fair possibilities.

I mean, referring to being in a position where your life may literally end and you die is the normal use of that phrase, yes, but you could easily argue that they are actually referring to their life not as ending, but as changing in a negative way to a point where their life no longer resembles what it once did. If I went to prison I would consider my life to be destroyed tbh, and therefore see an arrest as a threat on my quality of life and consider my life as I know it now to be under threat. The words themselves can easily mean that, it's just they are more commonly used to mean something else, ya know, words are words and just because a phrase means something to someone, it does not necessarily mean the same thing to someone else. Language is a fickle thing and can be manipulated. This is also why you should enact your right to stay silent, as they can and will use what you say against you, by twisting it, arguably similar to how I have here. This was quite fun. Stay safe.

Filming police is 1st amendment protected activity. There is absolutely no reason for the cops to even approach him in the first place, much less harass, lie to him about the law, and try to intimidate him into leaving. Didn't work, did it?

@@clauclau1811 he may not have tried to stir up trouble, but lets all be honest adults here, he did cause more conflict then their needed to be and caused a traffic stop/arrest to be stretched out longer than it needed to be. Had he not showed up with the intent that the cops were bad the conversation could have been much more respectful. Also if your pulled over on the side of the road and someone pulls up behind you and does not exit the vehicle and just sits there, are you just gonna remain calm or are you gonna get worried? Then when you make contact with the person and you find out that all they wanna do is watch you and not help in the slightest bit, you are gonna deem them as being there just to cause trouble.

ATA has previously educated us that they have liberty to clear the scene during a traffic stop. The problem with the first officers was not that they asked him to create a distance, it's that they did so after the need had passed. I say B+ for the officers and B- for the guy.

Absolutely. I fully support auditing the police for First, Second, and Fourth Amendment compliance (as well as all our other rights), but leave the family at home. Not only that....the officers were arresting someone, not merely writing a ticket. That means the suspect may have posed a potential danger to cammer's family. Cammer had no idea what was going on with the stop.
Then there's the matter of what happens if cammer and his wife get arrested. The kids would get some non-quality time with CPS, as cammer mentioned rather casually.
As for the audit itself, standing in the sidewalk with an iPhone? Go for it. It's good for everyone. Pulling up right behind cops performing a traffic stop, such that their backs are to you while they're dealing with arresting someone? Yeah, that's going to provoke a reaction. They handled it wrong in threatening arrest and hopefully they learned from their encounter. But, asking cammer to move to the parking lot is reasonable from a common sense standpoint. Cammer seemed annoyed by that suggestion. Then again, if he did that in the first place he wouldn't have gotten any police interaction for his RUclips channel.

Gavin is the first auditor I ever came across on RUclips many years ago. It was one of his border patrol checkpoint videos. Yes, he’s a bit radical. Maybe a little adhd even. But I still like him. Cammer lost the plot when he started speculating about hypothetical reasons for traffic tickets and arrest warrants.
He's mad that the "threatened his family" but he willingly put his entire family in the situation knowing what could possibly happen whether it was right or wrong. Shouldn't have brought his wife and kids to this 🤷♀️
To be honest I feel bad for the supervisor. He had to deal with this guy and his officers. The super deserves an A+

While you weren't doing anything inherently wrong, you willingly put yourself into a situation where you knew a confrontation or a means of conversation would probably take place, as it is rather suspicious to stop behind a traffic incident and start filming, however it is your right. So, you can't say you have to look over your shoulder every day out of fear when you're the one putting yourself willingly into these situations!
That's like 99% of the interactions on this channel, is people actively trying to get these kinds of reactions from officers, and then this channel is like 'These people are heroes, A+'
I sorta get your point but the officers should prioritize doing their job and getting everything done rather than wasting everyone's time to go argue with someone because they don't like them being there even though them recording can be beneficial to all parties involved

@@godsson305 He is thinking in a different way about the information in this video than how it was presented. That is the very definition of critical thinking. Being critical of the subject matter and how it is presented. ie not taking the information at face value.
That sarge is a great cop and an asset to his community he serves. More good cops like him should raise the level of bad cops the Lady cop should be on desk duty and the other cop needs to learn people skills.
