Technically in the timeline it started with potatoes and senile gothi as iirc that's the earliest point of the timeline shown on official video not counting questions asked at convention tables and guest appearances where they answer questions

Sips saving Gothi from what would have been among the worst decisions of her life?
I'm here for that.
Literally my favorite moment of all time. Sips taking everything he's realized and learned and using it to reach Gothi when she is at her lowest yet.
The fact you can put "among" in that sentence really says a lot about Gothi's other past decisions.
Friendly reminder to anyone reading this who also enjoys the dynamic between Sips and Gothi, watch Fools Gold Sands on this channel! Gothi's player is playing a himbo demon and it's _great_ when paired with Dingo's own bubblegum gremlin of a genie. I swear, there's only one braincell shared between the two of them. The dynamic these two players have playing off of each-other is as _amazing_ to see in a live-play as it is to watch in these animations~

I like the idea of a king knowing a faction of his kind are just playing hippies In the forest, and just doesn’t care cause they have no affect on his plans or bottom line
Also it would be a waste of resources. Yes he could destroy them, it wouldn't be hard, but what does he gain from wiping them out?
If he let them be, they restore the jungle for free, in a way that makes the flora live long. So it means more resources become available. A war with them consumes resources for no benefit. So its more efficient for the Foreclaimers to ignore them.
Also works as a heck of the threat in case someone he could do some damage (like Gothi) come in.
this is precisely why he needs stopped to. If his only reason not to go to war is because "it's a waste of resources" ... what happens when he has an entire world to conquer for more resources? there would be no hesitation, no empathy, only war.
@@banaman7746 There would be a little hesitation. They need to make plans to properly invade and properly use the resources. You know, make sure that they don't spend more than they gain. However once that's sorted out then there would be no hesitation.

A small detail I loved was that whenever the camera cut to a shot of Godrick and Gothi from far away, Gothi was being shown through one of the tubes, almost like she was in it as an experiment, the attention to detail in this series is amazing!

I came here to say that. And even when it was upclose, her reflection was almost always floating in one of the tubes. Such a great little detail
I just noticed that after Gothi breaks down in front of Sips ,Sips comforts her by touching her hand with his paw, he's a little hesitant but he succeeded and this is a callback to episode 16 after Sips found out about Gothi not having a face and asking "does it hurt?" After she explains Sips tries to comfort her by touching her with his hand (the same tactic) but because he still has the curse he hesitates and fails to do so and he gets up and leaves
When you remember that all this happened cause of karaoke and now you are crying bc a monkey has a heart felt moment with tall lady
I feel like that's a lot of D&D campaigns. You start silly and then you've spent so much time with your characters that you get attached and you have amazing emotional moments like these. I had a level 1-20 campaign that recently ended where one of my players was so sad about his character's end he needed a few minutes to collect himself and then told us several days later he was still coming to terms with it and it all started with a group of adventurers hunting a white boar and one of them dying immediately thanks to a botched stealth check.
Just imagine, if they had decided to end the campaign with the terrasque. All the stuff we would have missed

@@DracoMagnius not all start silly, but the highs and lows make a great tale. One thing that I absolutely love about dnd is that it gives people opportunities to explore emotional depths that they may have never felt otherwise and it creates an environment where people around them empathize without judgement of the expression of emotions. Nearly everyone has moments in game where you get very emotionally invested and get tore up inside.
I think it's helpful to men in particular since they very frequently face being shamed for crying or being emotionally vulnerable. I love that dnd gives them a space to explore that in a way they feel comfortable. I'm a female player, but I've seen the men in my life struggle facing such pressures.
Every campaign I do I end up crying over some npc or player character dying
I love how Gothi being extremely old for unknown (maybe plothole) reasons had been acknowledged by Godrick.

I needed that dialogue. My dad drowned 2 days ago and I keep replaying the events of that day in my head over and over looking for anything I could have done different. And I don't know what to do going forward. So at some point I found myself in Gothe's place and just started crying, but I feel a little less hopeless for it. Thank you Dingo. Stories matter. Even fictional ones. more than people know.

its kinda crazy that this was originally just a dnd campaign between friends and was never originally going to be made into content. like they really had this amazing story and were just gonna keep it to themselves.
I honestly love the scene with Gothi and Godric in the lab. Their reflections of their past selves and the detail of when both of them are in frame, Gothi is positioned to appear in a test tube showing that Godric just sees her as another experiment is amazing.
My god I love this episode, it finally has Gothi's past catching up with her and it FORCING her to finally acknowledge and deal with it, with only Sips, someone she has helped A TON in his journey finally being able to help Gothi in her's! GOOOOOOOOOODDDDDD

He's just that good as a manipulator. He doesn't care one bit about murdering his own people to achieve his goals, so his speech about saving everyone is complete bullshit.
Loved the use of Gothi's original face. Just a brilliantly done episode. The DM in me is cackling with glee at Felix's scheming.
The way I audibly gasped when Gothie started crying and said she killed Sips😭😭
The researcher screaming and smacking Sips was such a light hearted comedy moment after, THAT ENTIRE FIRST TEN MINUTES, that I’m legit crying with laughter! Made my day even better than it already was, since I got word that my apartment building, which was essentially evacuated weeks ago cuz of a flood wrecking the basement, finally has Electricity again. So THIS IS A GOOD DAY!

Yeah its one if the only reasons I wish one of our players wives wasnt there when we do ours just so the raw emotions could come out. But sadly as to not trigger them we have to try toning it down. Or oh boy a few scenes with us wouldnt sound so tame. Espically a few with one of the players. And the dm. Granted the most heated time there wasnt yelling. There was so much rage that I honestly stopped being me. And the in hand and a real life knife were aimed at the enemy (the dm) because they had been trauma upon trauma that bleed into some real life stuff I thought I had come to terms with until that moment. So I didnt see the dm anymore. I saw the person that hurt us. I loved back then. Now it's almost pure trama and stress. But we are near the end.
I'M GETTING KICKED IN THE GUTS WITH THESE FEELS-
It is always amazing just how much wisdom is not something often found in grand libraries or lofty mountains guarded by impossible riddles and daring feats. It's often fostered in the back allies and schools of hard knocks.

The art is everything, beautiful depiction to emphasize everything going through Gothi's head during all of this. And the conversation between Sips and Gothi is everything. Sips has been through a lot and has finally taken some pretty important lessons to heart. And now he's using what he's learned to reach Gothi when she is at her lowest and was about to commit to a terrible decision.
So, there are hundreds of power crystals below the library and the party requires to stop Godric and all of his soldiers.
My inner artificer: laughs maniacally in potentially several dozen gigatons worth of thermonuclear energy in the bowels of the city.

y'know the once every 3 months or so upload schedule actually works really well with this series. The episodes are always very, very, VERY heavy, so if I were to intake this in more frequent amounts, I'd be depressed as hell 💀

Ray Shield. That’s called a Ray Shield. In sci fi the point of it is to prevent any matter from passing through. Especially useful for hull breaches in space to prevent depressurization.
How is it that every upload of this I either cry or scream. Every single upload I get more invested. I just- I'm genuinely in tears. The voice acting during Gothi's breakdown hit right in my heart. Good job.

Not only did Dingo do awesome animations/animatics of those stories, but she also mastered the voice acting ! I totaly forgot it's her voice acting Godrick ! That's impressive how she's good at making us FEEL the pressure and presence of this guy !

This is so epic! All the different angles and the reflections showing Gothi’s internal reactions…. Its so just *chefs kiss*
This episode might be the biggest example to how far Dingo's cinematography skills have come. That opening scene with Gothi and Godrick is just two people talking but it was so entertainingly creative and well paced that I didn't care. It also helps that the music choices were fantastic. Well done Dingo Doodles. It's always worth the wait.

I know it's been MONTHS, but I think y'all have forgotten that Godric is a descendant of the foreclaimer who attacked Gothi. He is not immortal like her. So the images in the backgrounds were more like PTSD memory of his ancestor.
The Glasses ship talking about the mechs is Hilarious and adorable
