Superfriends legacy is such that when they did the DCAU in the 90s starting with Batman when they made the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited the design of the league of doom base was literally a carbon copy of the one in Superfriends.
I think this is really cool! However, I have the whole DVD collection of Superfriends. It wasn’t easy to get every season but altogether I think it was $100

MeTV Toons isn't on cable. During the interview, Neil mentioned that none of the cable providers. like Comcast and Spectrum, are currently opting to carry MeTV Toons and encouraged everyone to call them and let them know that they want it.
There are lots of animated shows I loved as a kid in the 1970s that I would love to see on MeTV Toons. A few of them were made by Filmation, but I believe MeTV Toons is only airing Hanna Barbera shows. However, there are quite a few Hanna Barbera shows I'd love to see again, or in some cases, for the first time. For instance, H&B did an animated Bill & Ted show with the voices of Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter, and George Carlin. But I would love to see shows like Magilla Gorilla w/ Ricochet Rabbit, Frankenstein Jr., and The Impossibles. Birdman and the Galaxy Trio, and Shazzan, again. Speaking of genies, I'd love to see Jeannie again. There was also a Fantastic Four cartoon from the 1960s that I saw in syndication that I really liked. Finally, I would love it if they aired The Banana Splits Adventure Hour. I loved their Three Musketeers and Arabian Knights cartoons.
I used to watch that show, as a little kid. I still remember being scared by the ghost villain, Gentleman Jim. I haven't seen him, since I was in elementary school, in the early 80s. I don't know,... maybe, I'm still scared - LOL
Relax- he's a cartoon villain. BTW, in the Superfriends episode, "The Ghost"(1977), Gentleman Jim Craddock swore revenge on Superman and Wonder Woman, but made a big mistake, not accounting for Batman, Robin, Aquaman and the Wonder Twins. The moral to that story is hate and revenge can lead to self-destruction and that's a moral, which is still relevant, today!!!

Filmation D.C. heroes(owned by Warner Bros.) would be a definite, DePatie-Freleng's Super 6 is a possibility(owned by MGM), Super President, unlikely and Bailey's Comets, questionable, as CBS Studios owns that program!!!
I remember the Super Friends on Ted Turner's WTBS Superstation...but I don't remember them on Cartoon Network. I probably just wasn't looking for them at that point in my life.
Filmation's D.C heroes would be a nice addition to MeTV Toons, along with Hanna-Barbera's World of Super Adventure(minus The Fantastic Four, since Disney owns that show via Marvel), Ruby-Spears' Mighty Man and Yukk and Space Ace, DePatie-Freleng's The Super 6(owned by MGM), etc.!!!

Filmation D.C. heroes(owned by Warner Bros.) would be a definite, DePatie-Freleng's Super 6 is a possibility(owned by MGM), Super President, unlikely and Bailey's Comets, questionable, as CBS Studios owns that program!!!
I live in bountiful utah and have an antenna and have 2 mw tv channels but non metv toons
You should be able to pick it up, Glen. What type of antenna are you using?
Cartoon Network is where I discovered Superfriends (and the other incarnations in the franchise).
I remember the Super Friends on Ted Turner's WTBS Superstation...but I don't remember them on Cartoon Network. I probably just wasn't looking for them at that point in my life.
So are Centurions, Silverhawks and Captain Planet.
Don't forget the original Thundercats!!!
@@michaelpowell5266
Nor Rescue Heroes and Rescue Heroes GRT (Global Respond Team).
WOW!!!! SUPER FRIENDS ON MeTV TOONS!!!!
Are the Filmation-produced Superman/Superboy/
Aquaman and Batman cartoons from the '60s gonna be added soon?
Filmation's D.C heroes would be a nice addition to MeTV Toons, along with Hanna-Barbera's World of Super Adventure(minus The Fantastic Four, since Disney owns that show via Marvel), Ruby-Spears' Mighty Man and Yukk and Space Ace, DePatie-Freleng's The Super 6(owned by MGM), etc.!!!
No plans for the Filmation cartoons yet.
👍👍👍❤❤❤ super héroes superman batman spiderman c🎉🎉🎉capitán américa ❤
Also bring 1967 fantastic four
Unfortunately, that isn't likely to happen, especially since Disney via Marvel, owns the 1967 Fantastic Four series!!!
Honestly I wish they would put on, Garfield And Friends, Punky Brewster (The Cartoon Version) Pixie And Dixie, Shopper And Blabber, The Scooby Movies And Scooby Doo Show And A Pup Named Scooby Doo And The Addams Family (Cartoon). I would also like them to put some 80s anime on but I don't know if they would have to purchase the rights for some of the shows I want to see.
The Scooby Doo Movies are on during the weekend. I imagine that you may see some of the other shows on your list in the future.
@@jdsundstrom
Like Pixie and Dixie and Mr Jinx?🙏
I love that cartoon as a little kid I sooo miss that cartoon ❤ I kind of miss the little background tunes that they used in the cartoon
captain planet is kind of a super hero
That's true. I forgot about that show.
I like when they crossed over Batman with Scooby-Doo.
That was in 1972, the year before The Superfriends premiered. Back then, Scooby-Doo was running on CBS SatAM!!!
Awesome!. . Now, if we can just bring back the Spider-man 1967 cartoon series!
Totally agree! They definitely need to add that one.
It hasn't come on in Indianapolis so what is going on
No idea. You can, however, watch MeTV Toons on Frndly TV and you can try it for free for 7 days by using this link: try.frndlytv.com/?ref=davesundstrom
You forgot to mention when it will come to cable providers.
Because my dad owns Xfinity and MeTV Toons hasn't come to it as of yet!
During the interview, Neil mentioned that none of the cable providers. like Xfinity and Spectrum, aren't currently opting to carry MeTV Toons and encouraged everyone to call them and let them know that they want it.
@@jdsundstrom Then you might want to mention that in your next video.
Awesome news.
HOW DO WE SEE METVTOONS, STREAM OR CABLE?
None of the major cable or satellite providers have picked it up yet. You can watch MeTV Toons on Frndly TV and you can try it for free for 7 days by using this link: try.frndlytv.com/?ref=davesundstrom
@@jdsundstrom Thank You So Much!!!!!
Hoping Weigel Broadcasting to launch MeTV Kids & Teens and MeTV International networks.
Listening to the interview with Neil, it sounds like this may be it...at least for a little while.
Was Ted Knight the voice over meanwhile in the hall of justice.? Also the theme song of the cartoons, Saturday morning was a good way to spend the day. Thanks for posting this video.🇺🇸
Ted Knight was followed by Bill Woodson as narrator of The Superfriends. Both men are still missed, today!!!
Ted was only the narrator during the first season.
I really wish me tv and the other nostalgia tv channels would stream their programming. The only reason we have basic cable is to watch nostalgia tv.
During the interview, Neil mentioned that, in the future, MeTV is going to have their own streaming service. Still, I can't imagine it costing much less than Frndly TV, which has MeTV, MeTV+ and MeTV Toons. You can try it for 7 days by using this link: try.frndlytv.com/?ref=davesundstrom
Nah I get that frndly is affordable. But if comet tv can do it for free,so can others. The adds can fund most of the programming.
Now if we can get WB's Batman and Superman animated series on MeTv Toons.
That would be awesome!
Is it available in dishtv metvtoons
None of the major cable or satellite providers have picked it up yet. You can watch MeTV Toons on Frndly TV for free for 7 days by using this link: try.frndlytv.com/?ref=davesundstrom

I'm really excited for all of those cartoons to return!
@@jdsundstrom same
Too bad it’s only streaming on 2 sites and only a few actual tv stations.
It's currently being broadcast on 100+ over the air channels for free. I'm sorry if it is not available in your area.
Also Conan the adventure
Weigel Communications would have to pay Hasbro money to air Conan the Adventurer!!!
omg cant waite fir this
My husband, watched about 1 hour and had to turn them off to go back to work 😂😊
I'm sure he was sad that he had to turn them off. 🙂
Superfriends has actually been confirmed since frndly tv metv toons blog on launch day
Hmmm. I missed that. I'll go check it out. 🙂
@@jdsundstromYeah, it confirms many shows actually
I don't get it ! Where the hell is it ? I live in Clarksville Tennessee, we get me TV thank goodness, but not Me TV toons ! Why !!!!!!?????
Not sure about Clarksville...but it is on WJFB 44.8 in Nashville.
@@jdsundstrom thanks , it should be in our cable, I'm sure if I had an antenna I could pick it up, that's insane ! Ha ha I appreciate you telling me where to find it
I don't think any of the major cable providers have picked it up yet.
@@jdsundstrom I know, and that's frustrating, because most of the channels I get I don't watch, pure garbage, but when basketball season starts I get to watch every Memphis Grizzlies game, so it's worth it to me, but I can't see the Me TV toons channel,!!!!!! I hate that
RICHIE RICH, LITTLE RASCALS, ADDAMS FAMILY, GODZILLA,Animated.
THE THING THAT CONCERNS ME THE MOST...MeTV is MISSING The NEXT-GREATEST Ca$h Cow-A SATURDAY MORNING LIVE-ACTION BLOCK!!!
THEN, MeTV+ could do a PUPPETRY-LIKE BLOCK!!!
What would that all be like, Mr. Sundstrom??!!!
❤💔💜
That would be awesome! And yes...let's get Godzilla added to the line-up. 🙂
