Cartoon lineup….. you did a great job breaking down each cartoon….. now I’m looking forward to watching MeTV…. Thanks for sharing this video and taking me way back….. I’m tuned in now!😁👍💯
I actually love MeTV, I watch it all the time, so glad to see them showing toons all day on a new channel, that one might enter my rotation of exclusively the MeTV channels
I get the feeling this schedule will drive the sales of recording devices, some of these shows have been hard to come by and they're airing in the wee hours.
Omg, I was so surprised… our parents made us watch the Greatest Adventures series when we were really little… but the Mr T cartoon, Captain Planet, Speed Racer, and Wacky Races were my favorites!💖
If they throw in Pac-man, Turbo Teen, Laugh Olympics, Snorks, Jabber Jaw, Speed Buggy, Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch, and Dragon'a Lair, we will have a complete Cartoon Express revival. Also, I want to see some He-man, Voltron, G.I. Joe, Transformers, Thundercats, Robocop, Rambo and the Forces of Freedom, Chuck Norris Karate Kommandos, Teen Wolf, Silver Hawks, Camp Candy, and maybe even some Bobby's World.
Man, seeing Beetlejuice in the line-up and it's on 730 weekday mornings.... It takes me back to when I used to watch Beetlejuice on Fox Kids on weekday mornings at 730, lol. I'm telling you... if they start airing Batman the Animated series, Some Fox kids and kids WB series, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, DENNIS THE MENACE???? Oh man, MeTV TOONS would be the major go-to channel for my kids... It'll be cool if they add some toy commercials and cereal commercials as well (Not retro of course).
I watched Wait til Your Father Gets Home when I was a small child. It was over my head then. I will need to watch it again to see what I was looking at way back then.
I think the most surprising entry is 'the mental misadventures of ed grimley' ... I never got into that show, LOL! but some pretty solid picks from all over my childhood here for sure. hoping we get a local affiliate here near san diego I'll definitely fire up the TV antenna for some retro cartoons.
2:42 I have rocky and Bullwinkle on DVD full series actually along with Animaniacs, Flintstones Jetsons etc 4:00 mask , Thunderbirds and speed racer . Heck yeah 👍👍
This is a great start. Personally I'd love to see in the future: Galaxy High School The New Archies Thunder Cats/Silver Hawks/Tiger Sharks Teen Wolf Pirates of Dark Water Earthworm Jim C.O.P.S. Toxic Crusaders Bucky O'Hare Tales From the Crypt Keeper
I'm hoping my area gets this channel. This is going to be my happy place. I grew up on the majority of these cartoons and it warms my heart to see them back for everyone else to enjoy. This is a great tribute and celebration of some of the greatest cartoon characters/shows of all time!
The "Superstars 10" Scooby movies (Boo Brothers, Ghoul School, and Reluctant Werewolf) would also be likely candidates for that Sunday slot. (Since we know they already have Jetsons meet the Flintstones.) They need to get Cartoon Planet on this. It'd fit in perfectly. I mean, they've already got the Count Floyd bits through Ed Grimley.
This makes me so happy, especially when I saw top cat, wacky racers, and the penelope pitstop Of course I would love if they had Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly dog, I am weasel, puffy amy yumi, Juniper lee, billy and mandy, Time squad, ed edd n eddy or even sheep in the big city was shown
OMG I loved Ed Grimley! It’s such a deep dive but such an insanely fun one. I’m here for it. I will likely just stay up all night watch it and then go to bed. LOL. These line ups are giving me the old skool weekend cartoon watching days where you just left the tv on and watched whatever cartoons came on because that’s all that was on. This is going to be on all day in the background of my house.
I'm with Andre in hoping that we get Animaniacs, Tiny Toons and Pinky & The Brain eventually for this channel, but I'm ALSO hoping we get the two OTHER Jim Carrey-Based Movie Cartoons, "Ace Ventura" and "Dumb and Dumber". It SHOULDN'T BE that hard since Dumb and Dumber was one of the last Hanna-Barbera shows made, but they MAY HAVE to pull strings with getting the rights for Ace since it's made by Nelvana...But at the same time, The Mask and Ace Ventura had a 2-part crossover episode, sooooo...
This looks awesome. It’s basically 90s era Cartoon Network + various animated shows that aired in syndication at some point or another. It may be a long shot but I would love to see them play reruns of Fox Kids shows like Bobby’s World or Eek the Cat down the road. But I’m pretty happy with the lineup which is all that matters.
if it’s one thing I’ve learned about classic channels like me or buzzr, they will do the absolute best to pull the rabbit out of a hat and make us fans lose it. I’m pretty sure they’re gonna do it again.
10:16 Oh I remember that. I have always remembered it. And I'm glad it's on the roster. Speaking of obscure, I wouldn't mind if we got "The Pirates of Dark Water" as well in the future
I am just so hyped for this, especially Duck Dodgers! Got an antenna for the old family tv a year ago just for local news and weather, so it'll be nice to spend hours in front of it again. Since they got Histeria, I hope they manage to get Detention as well. If the rumors about MiB: TAS are true (please be, because I LOVED it), that gives me hope for Godzilla: TAS and Big Guy and Rusty.
I absolutely remember the Ed Grimley cartoon (it was _”totally decent,_ I must say” 😋). My favorite part was always Count Floyd’s “scary” stories ( 10:32 RIP Joe Flaherty 🧛♂️) Fun fact, the show ran on Saturday mornings for the same three months (Sep-Dec 1988) as Jim Varney’s equally short-lived kids’ show, “Hey Vern, It’s Ernest”. Probably not a coincidence, considering it was smack in the middle of the Pee-Wee’s Playhouse era 😅
There are some cartoons here that do not ring a bell at all, I'm really grateful they have some unsung cartoons to check out. MeTV, you've done well. LOL
Absolutely love this and most definitely be tuning in! My hope is we get the kind of more obscure stuff on this channel like creepy crawlers, the90s Adam’s family, tales from the crypt, toxic crusader, fox’s Peter Pan and the pirates, earthworm Jim,the adventures of T. rex, cowboys of moomesa, and Bucky o hare just to name a few! I would like to be punch in the face with nostalgia lol
Ed Grimley!? I DO REMEMBER that cartoon it used to air (in Mexico that is) on sunday nights only when cartoon started, alongside Wait till your father gets home. The Bible stories.... huh, I NEVER THOUGHT I would heard from that again, because I used to watch some OLD VHS tapes that showed to us at elementary school (i went to a catholic elementary school)
I remember Wait 'Til Your Father Gets Home (I loved old school Cartoon Network)! I can't wait for June 25! *Totally Tooned In was Antenna TV's cartoon block. They showed mostly the old Columbia/Screen Gems cartoons (and UPA stuff like Gerald McBoing Boing.) Columbia also had a cartoon series called Color Rhapsodies (similiar to Disney's Silly Symphonies)
I really REALLY hope the shows aren't massacred to put them into 16:9. Those old shows were meant to be seen in 4:3!!! I'd love to see a series of video from you where you just ramble about an old show :p We need more Smurf content from you man!
This sounds great! Who would've thought someone would want a Cartoon Network that shows MORE THAN ONE CARTOON. My personal hopes are for: Mighty Orbots, Bionic 6, Galaxy High, Thunderbirds 2086, Adventures of The Galaxy Rangers, Robotech, Battle of the Planets, Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs, Jayce and The Wheeled Warriors, Pole Position, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, Skeleton Warriors and Samurai Pizza Cats. :)
Woody Woodpecker's my favorite cartoon of all time! I love certain episodes, like Knock Knock, Wet Blanket Policy, The Dippy Diplomat, Operation Saw Dust, etc! I have a video game of Woody Woodpecker for my PS2 & a DVD that I watch Woody Woodpecker episodes of too! I'm just so happy Woody Woodpecker is on MeTV Toons! I love that bird, a lot!
Cool! Fantastic announcement! There’s many cartoons that I hope will be given a chance to be part of this lineup in the future but this initial lineup is really good and I especially love the weekend schedules myself so I may tune in more on the weekends however I respect how the full lineup has your attention as you are more connected to the older cartoons than me and also I really need to say that I hope that they add on Pup named Scooby-doo because I really think that should be a regular feature too in my opinion. Anyways fantastic lineup and thank you for hosting this video so well!

And more action cartoons like C.O.P.S., Pirates of Dark Water or any of the toy based ones like Visionaries, M.A.S.K. or the Centurions. Hell, get me some of those early anime that showed up too like Astroboy and Kimba the White Lion.

@Black Nerd Comedy Hi Andre. Remember Fantastic Max, or the Double Dragon cartoon? Things like that or Flintstone kids are the real old school vibe! Speaking of old School, can I recommend you check out Tekkaman Blade, if I haven't already. Now that takes me back! Weekend morning nostalgia at it's finest, and once you see it, there is no going back!
This sounds really fun. I hope it's on the satellite, or I will go buy an antenna. Looney Tunes, The Flintstones, and The Jetsons will be the first ones I rewatch. I hope they add Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys. ReBoot, too.

I love to watch these classic cartoons. Helps me to forget the hate in this world and brings back so many great memories growing up in the 70s and 80s. My top 6 list is Transformers, Thundercats, M.A.S.K. G.I.Joe , Robotech and Centurions.
Would be great to see them play The Halloween Tree over the Halloween season. Always remember seeing it on Cartoon Network around Halloween, would be nice to keep the tradition alive
There will be a free fast channel available as well. That's been confirmed from many sources. I think pretty much anyone who will want to access this for cheap or free will be able to in one way or another.

I know they got us secure rights and all that stuff for things, but there's so many cartoons from the '70s '80s and '90s that this should be no repeats of Tom anything

Like no way… Wait Till Your Father Gets Home! OMG WHAT?! 😳 I remember that too! Obscure nostalgia over here. Those two in particular I am remembered for the first time since back in the day. That blows my mind. 😂
This is outstanding! I’m 57yrs. Old and still love watching cartoons…. I even have a lot of them in my collection! As a kid, thier was nothing like Saturday morning cartoons….. I would wake up at 6:30 in the morning and catch all my favorites on tv up until 12:30 noon… then I’m outside….. this is great!! I have a new respect for MeTV…… and just happened to cross this channel for the first time just to find this new 24hr. Cartoon lineup….. you did a great job breaking down each cartoon….. now I’m looking forward to watching MeTV…. Thanks for sharing this video and taking me way back….. I’m tuned in now!😁👍💯
And if they're pulling out Captain Planet? Where's Street Sharks, Extreme Dinosaurs, & Biker Mice from Mars? LoL
Or Widget, The World Watcher. Another environmental cartoon.
Some other cartoons that fox once had under foxkids got bought by disney
Disney should collab an ota cartoon channel with the people who own laff or something
Well Biker Mice From Mars is owned by Ryan Reynolds since he is doing a revival
I actually love MeTV, I watch it all the time, so glad to see them showing toons all day on a new channel, that one might enter my rotation of exclusively the MeTV channels
2 Stupid Dogs and Wait Till Your Father Gets Home!!! I am in nostalgia heaven!!
I get the feeling this schedule will drive the sales of recording devices, some of these shows have been hard to come by and they're airing in the wee hours.
13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo and New Adventures of Johnny Quest would be awesome.
Johnny quest is on schedule
@@FrankGalvin-w2f The original Johnny Quest is listed, there was another called The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest from 1996
@kdash20002 I believe The New Adventures of Johnny Quest is available through Boomerang.
OMG!!! We must be about the same age bc u mentioned Thundercats, Transformers & Laugh Olympics 😂
Oh boy, I'm looking forward to seeing Freakazoid.
same!
Freakazoid is my sh.t!
My local channel often preempted Freakazoid, back in the day, so I'm looking forward to seeing stuff I missed!
2:42 I have rocky and Bullwinkle on DVD full series actually along with Animaniacs, Flintstones Jetsons etc
4:00 mask , Thunderbirds and speed racer . Heck yeah 👍👍
This is a great start. Personally I'd love to see in the future:
Galaxy High School
The New Archies
Thunder Cats/Silver Hawks/Tiger Sharks
Teen Wolf
Pirates of Dark Water
Earthworm Jim
C.O.P.S.
Toxic Crusaders
Bucky O'Hare
Tales From the Crypt Keeper
I'm hoping my area gets this channel.
This is going to be my happy place. I grew up on the majority of these cartoons and it warms my heart to see them back for everyone else to enjoy.
This is a great tribute and celebration of some of the greatest cartoon characters/shows of all time!
The "Superstars 10" Scooby movies (Boo Brothers, Ghoul School, and Reluctant Werewolf) would also be likely candidates for that Sunday slot. (Since we know they already have Jetsons meet the Flintstones.)
They need to get Cartoon Planet on this. It'd fit in perfectly. I mean, they've already got the Count Floyd bits through Ed Grimley.
This makes me so happy, especially when I saw top cat, wacky racers, and the penelope pitstop
Of course I would love if they had Johnny Bravo, Courage the Cowardly dog, I am weasel, puffy amy yumi, Juniper lee, billy and mandy, Time squad, ed edd n eddy or even sheep in the big city was shown
This is so cool!! Captain Planet, Ghostbusters, Police Academy, Beetlejuice?? Awesome stuff.
Awesome! Thanks for the breakdown Andre! Wish they had Superfriends on there somewhere but this is still an amazing schedule of programming.
It’s like Boomerang. This is gonna be dope
All we need now is RoboCop the animated series, the swamp thing, animated series & Toonsylvania
Top Cat, the most effectual, Top Cat, whose intellectual close friends get to call him T.C.....
That's one of my favorite shows. I used to watch it regularly when Boomerang was the hot thing.
Yes!! Big Guy and Rusty and Godzilla:TAS were fire!!!
How about Taz-Mania which ran for 4 seasons on the FOX Television Network from September 7, 1991 to May 22, 1995
I'm never changing my channel, thanks MeTV
You know what this channel needs? The Laff-a-lympics
Yes!!
I was looking forward to this at first but they're adding Duck Dodgers..I'm so hyped now!
Awesomeness. Must watch : atom ant , cartoon all stars , Wacky races and Yogi bear
And hopefully, Hong Kong Phooey and Space Ghost
Nah. MeTV doesn't do that on their other channels, so I doubt they'll do that here.
@@MrDonCoyote ;_; beautiful! I'm suddenly very jealous.
@@Undrave Why is that? Will you not be able to enjoy the greatness?
@@MrDonCoyote I'm not in the US
Metv toons finally got it this week in my area. Thank you.
Thank goodness I have antenna TV because this is going to be cool, it’s too bad that the old cartoons are in the middle of the night.
I would be good if the schedule was Men in Black, The Mask, Beetlejuice, and The Real Ghostbusters.
Dude Cartoons network has millions of shows gumball adventure time my fav we bare bears so many 😄
Woody Woodpecker's my favorite cartoon of all time!
I absolutely love this. It will probably be nice to put on in the background while I work, or draw, or have my breakfast
RUclips TV better have my recommendations prepared to automatically switch to MeTV Toons
You’re impressions are hilarious Andre 😂
*HISTERIA?!? FREAKAZOID?!?*
Both shows that deserve revivals someday!
Histeria helps fill that darn educational content requirement
both Kids WB! shows back then
Let's pray animaniacs comes to METV toons ❤
@@Sk8rToonand it does, even if it’s exaggerated it’s still educational
If they got Freakazoid, they gotta bring in Animaniacs too sometime
Anyways fantastic lineup and thank you for hosting this video so well!
dude, I would love to see Taz-mania and maybe the ones based on videogames like Captain N, Super Mario Bros Super Show or The Power Team. And more action cartoons like C.O.P.S., Pirates of Dark Water or any of the toy based ones like Visionaries, M.A.S.K. or the Centurions. Hell, get me some of those early anime that showed up too like Astroboy and Kimba the White Lion.
"Here He Comes, Here Comes Speed Racer" YES, YES, YES !!!!!!
😃😃😃😃😃😃
Scooby-Doo Where Are You, Yogi Bear, Johnny Quest, The Jetsons, The Flinstones, Underdog -- TOTALLY AWESOME !!!!!!!😃😃😃
CAN'T WAIT !!!! 👍👍
I'm most excited for the Supermarionation shows (Supercar, Fireball XL5, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, and Joe 90), Speed Racer, Freakazoid, The Perils of Penelope Pitstop, The Real Ghostbusters, Inspector Gadget, and Challenge of the GoBots (not as good as Transformers, but still)
I love to watch these classic cartoons. Helps me to forget the hate in this world and brings back so many great memories growing up in the 70s and 80s. My top 6 list is Transformers, Thundercats, M.A.S.K. G.I.Joe , Robotech and Centurions.
They should add in the future Alvin and the Chipmunk, a pup named Scooby Doo, probably the Adams Family Cartoon just named a few.
Thanx for the breakdown.. I Am old school & proud!!!!
CARTOONS!!!!!
I hope to eventually see shows like Danger Mouse and Count Duckula, but I'm impressed with the lineup so far.
Would be great to see them play The Halloween Tree over the Halloween season. Always remember seeing it on Cartoon Network around Halloween, would be nice to keep the tradition alive
I gotta get myself a TV antenna...
Also look into getting a tablo. tablo is a pay once dvr that records tv antenna shows.
No just A digital box
@@tareapeters5215 why get the box when an antenna is WAAAAYYY cheaper
@@tareapeters5215you need the antenna to get the station over the air and a digital box if your tv is analog.
Amazing Schedule! COME ON PHILO! I WANT TO DVR ALL OF THE CARTOONS AND WATCH ON METV TOONS!
There will be a free fast channel available as well. That's been confirmed from many sources. I think pretty much anyone who will want to access this for cheap or free will be able to in one way or another.
Tbh, it sounds like a free version of classic boomerang
Yup but better with cartoons who don't have a complete set of DVDs yet
I hope they add Batman The Animated Series,Superman The Animated Series and Justice League because they are WB cartoons now that Weigel owns them I see why not lol 😂
I hope they add Thundarr The Barbarian and maybe Batman the Animated Series
"remember ALF? hes back in pog form"
-Milhouse
I know they got us secure rights and all that stuff for things, but there's so many cartoons from the '70s '80s and '90s that this should be no repeats of Tom anything
Thank you! Thank you!
Thank you for this rundown, Andre!
📺🧮⏰🗓️🎉
I wish such a channel would broadcast worldwide. And it's better to just do it live on the Internet.
I am looking forward to The Casper and Company Block.
Not only does it have Casper but I was told it would have the other Harvey cartoons as well like: Baby Huey, Little Audrey, Katnip and Herman etc. Also looking forward to the Woody Woodpecker block which will also have Chilly Willy, Any Panda and the rest.
I love this! I’m mad I can’t get MeTv. But think they should’ve put the more popular Saturday morning cartoons on Saturday morning block (Smurfs, Loony Tunes, Ghostbusters, Beetlejuice), so it could give that real Saturday morning feel.
Those are on the original MeTV
Wow, Black Nerd. Thanks for this report. Cannot wait to watch it. My household only has DTV, so we should be able to see MeTVToons along with the original MeTV.
I can't believe rabbit ear TVs are still a thing now
And still serving a purpose no less!
@TreyMcDonaldAnimator the best part is it doesn't cost a thing.
I cut cable and went back to Over-The-Air TV in 2008.
@@TreyMcDonaldAnimator How can it when satellite TV is the main way TV's been broadcast for sometime
@@gerawallstar3487 I doubt that
MeTV Toons is what I need after Checkered Past & Toonami Rewind!
So Totally Tooned In was a show that Jerry Beck compiled in the 90s that showcased theatrical shorts from the Sony/Columbia Library that ended up not airing in the US. So cartoons like Mr Magoo, Gerald McBoing Boing, Fox and the Crow, and Scrappy will be represented at that time
That's great! As an aside, if any of you are at a convention and you see Jerry Beck is there to give a panel, GO TO IT! You won't be sorry!
