Being an LNF guy myself. Your weakness is in the stock cast aluminum block. With 450+ hp porous block is likely and above 550 you will definitely have issues. I would suggest the zfr turbo coupled with zzp bolt ons unless you go LDK.
Injectors on lnf are 100% fine stock for 500hp, spark plugs acdelco only there good enough. Brakes, lnf comes with brembo kit and they brake hard, for the 17inch wheels, youll have fitment issues because of the brembos other than that the other mods looks fine to me! A perfect car to mod on a low budget and 08-09 cobalt ss have stronger internals than the 2010 you can stay on stock rods and piston with the s252 turbo kit but the 2010 you need the change the rods and pistons and for being there you could also put in some valves and valves springs to bring up the rpms a little and get more power out of the turbo, also cams come in handy
I was thinking timing chain, head gasket, valve springs and retainers. I didn’t realize when I bought the entry kit plus the turbo upgrade I was needing more stuff, this info does help thank you
I like this concept, I have an 09 Turbo Cobalt! Stock brakes on the turbo balts are the best in my opinion, stock wheels are 18" so I would not go with 17" wheels as you will most likely have fitment issues with the brembo brakes. I'd go with a ZZP exhaust, not sure Vibrant makes an exhaust for the turbo balts. Lastly, the stock trans is definitely at risk when you push more than 400hp or tq, fingers crossed!!
@@Rollraceorgetleft I'm not wrong, what are you talking about? Your saying you have 18s, in the video he suggested 17s and I said he might have fitment issues with 17s and brembos. Im on 18x8.5 with et +35, I went with 15mm spacers.

They don't always go porous with high power. It's a game of chance, really. Still not a chance I'm taking lol, I'm fine with 400hp.
@@Noelsterrrhappened to me with just a tune. The lnf blocks are time bombs
currently building a 2.4 na ss it’s gonna be a big turbo build eventually and i’m almost to the part of building the engine ‼️‼️

I've been running 17" wheels on my 08 lnf for over a decade with no fitment issues. Of course I specd to ensure they'd clear
Good job Chase I enjoyed this info bro
The brembo brakes were better and have held up on 600hp builds.
Thank you much
bc coil overs are terrible get zzp coils bcs aren't very good on any car really but especially the cobalt
Touren wheels are trash. I had them on my vw and they fade so fast and the center caps always come off
