My car rips with the z54. That boost in second gear blows both tires off when it hits, bang it off the rev limiter 2x to get up wheel speed, hit 3rd hold the fook on.
He is right, efficiencies is key, I had an ION with a ProCharger C2 Head unit with intercooler that efficient blower, high flow CFM and low temps it was a beast!
@@richardlapoint1845yup! Most of the difference seems to be the body and interior. The engine is similar as well but not exactly the same. They’re sister cars basically.
It's a Sparco Grid Q seat. I used a Planted technologies bracket and Sparco side mounts. I had a slider in the car very briefly (cannot remember the brand), but it never felt 100% secure to me.
I don't think I'm at 300 whp, but I'm close. Long tube headers+ 2.5in zzp catback All of the cooling mods and great IATs CatV ported m62 with LS4 TB. 2.8 pulley and CAI tuned on E85. Virtual dyno puts me anywhere from 285-300whp,so I just say it makes 280whp. Some cams and and an ATI damper would get me past 300 easily.
This is the last time I make a question to you I have a Pontiac Bonneville 97 supercharged I put on a pulley 3.5 and a cam vs ..rpm 3"straight through and a cold air intake... I need to tune the car or I can leave it that way?
Tuning is NOT required for a VS cam, however it would be beneficial. For your 97, we recommend sending in your PCM to avoid a $100 core charge. Feel free to email customerservice@zzperformance.com with any questions you have about tuning 👍
Gotta see "the road to- turbocharging your lsj"

Called a B207. Buy a Saab
@@MotorFrozeswhat is the current b207r whp world record? Ion r done made 898whp. Which is a better engine?
@@mikealfieri641 are you still running the f35 5speed transmission? If so, how has it held up?
@hybridyd1305 yup, rocked it all summer. The car just got parked gor the season. It seems ok. No issues. I fo gave an f40 waiting though
Tyler is a chiller

Omg that hawk tuah was very effective on the engine side and it is got a good pressure coming out of that thing😂
Nicely done Tyler!
Keep IAT2 to a minimum, make the m62 as efficient as possible per the chart, and RPM.
The recipe for power on a supercharged car
Can't wait for Road to 300 horsepower Sonic/Cruze
Stay tuned!
😂 That's a long, long, long road my friend. But it's all about the road trip not the destination right!?
Tyler is a real one
Really enjoying the Road to hp videos. Partial to the 3800 but enjoyed the LNF & LSJ none the less...
I was hoping for a "road to" video with the lsj!
Tyler did great tuning my lsj. It did great, and I got great results
Hawk Tuah!.. took me out. I had to pause, laugh, and gather myself before I could finish watching lol!
I'm glad you guys haven't given up on the Saturn here. Awesome car.
Same chassis as cobalt ss pretty much

Doing the complete timing kit right now. The guides were screwed. One was coming apart
First off, that blue color on both of those cars 👌 chefs kiss, secondly, what sparco seat and rails are you using in the cobalt?

Suggestion: oil cooler kit with thermostat for us that are tracking these cars.

You should actually gain boost by porting the inlet.
Yup, I realized that when re-watching that I said that incorrectly lol. Thanks for the snag.
Cant wait for the next in the series: Road to 320whp.
😂😂😂😂
How much hp can you make with a tvs assuming you have all the right supporting mods?
I wish I could get a Saturn ion redline
Me too I just have a 2.4 that I’m gonna do some minor things too. Looked all over marketplace and auto trader and couldn’t find one in Canada
