The first one got removed for copyright so GIVE THIS SOME LOVE!! Even if you watched it already lol
I felt like I was being gaslighted haha... I was like "I thought they did this already." Sorry it got copyrighted. Love the reaction.
Sorry about the copyright, thanks for reuploading!
We have to go back!
Back where doc?
The second movie! It got hit with copyright
Oh doc not again…
Ooooh. I was wondering why...
Thanks for the reupload brother. I know copyright claims can be a pain in the ass. Appreciate the work you put into providing us with this quality content.👍
Robert Zemeckis knew they would never get the future right, so they just decided to have fun and make it as ridiculous as possible. And ironically, their predictions and depictions of 2015 are not that far off.
Not untrue. But I'm still waiting for my hoverboard. And I'm not talking about the one on wheels we got.
@@gg454luneikr, the hoverboard we got is nothing more than a Segway without the handle.
And plus Doc Brown is an inventor in events all sorts of sci-fi featureistic stuff so he might have had something to do with it or might’ve been responsible and plus he did go back in time and leave hoverboards in 1885 and not to mention show them a car that flies and time travels or travels through time I mean
@@hideofreakingkojima5457we do get drones and The Cubs World Series.
@@Otisboy121 and rampant '80s nostalgia.
Fun fact: The kid at 9:07 with the red shirt is a young Elijah Wood, who played Frodo in the Lord of the Rings series.
I never see any reaction notice it, despite the man still looking the same 😂.
@@masterprick1 I've seen a reaction or two noticing it :D when I first saw this I hadn't seen Elijah's other stuff, but around age 8 when I had, rewatching this I looked at my dad and went "wait, is that...?" haha
Did you guys catch that MJ played his daughter in the future too? Yep, yep, that was him.
SHUT THE FRONT DOOR 🚪! Are you kidding?
OK, chidren. Have your fun. So sad, this is how you were raised. Oops, you screwed yourselves. Hence today.
38:31
"He's taking it!"
"That might be good for us."
That's what I love about watching these guys react to things... notice the use of the word 'US' as opposed to 'THEM.' That just goes to show how fully immersed they are in whatever film they're watching, to the point they actually believe they're apart of that world and the consequences going on in it will effect them as well... and I freakin love that! 😊
The most subtle acting came in the beginning when Marty asked Doc if he and Jennifer became assholes in the future.
The face acting from Christopher Lloyd is hysterical 😆
One of the subtle Easter eggs that Zemeckis wanted to play in the movie. The other is when doc indicates he is late to go knock out Marty Jr. The implication is that this is all Deja vu for Doc as he has orchestrated all of the timing on these events, possibly by doing it many times and failing to achieve the right future.
I always get a huge kick out of seeing 8 year old Elijah Wood, AKA Baby Frodo, in the Cafe 80's scene!
I have to take the ring to Mordor?! That's like a baby's quest...
Yeah, that's exactly the age i was when this came out
9:17
When I watched this in the theatre, when the line “now that they’ve abolished all lawyers” was said everyone cheered!! 😂
The tunnel that Biff and Marty went through was used in another Zamacus film was the tunnel that took Eddie to Toontown in "What ho Framed Roger Rabbit".
I like how they correctly predicted FaceTime in this movie.
Thts true!!!
But still had him send a fax. Lol.
And Drones. And the cubs.
"Video phone" was actually first predicted by the 60's cartoon The Jetsons. It became a staple of futuristic sci fi media throughout the 70's and 80's.
When Biff came back to 2015, you can see him having a heart attack. Because the past was so drastically different, he wrote himself out of existence.
I think I remember seeing a deleted scene where future Biff fades out of existence similar to what was happening to Marty in the first movie.
My theory is he maybe drank himself to death or got killed by someone in the alternate timeline where he was successful and rich but ruthless.
@@G1NZOU it's actually because Marty mom in the alt timeline, shot him at some point, one of the behind the scenes mentions it.
@@Sthepanda oh nice, yeah I suspected his behaviour or lifestyle would finish with a bad end.
Loving the facts in this comment section... nice
What he doesn't explain is why Marty and Doc didn't fade away when old biff changed the timeline. They should have automatically been erased .
Crispin Glover, who played George McFly in the first one, wasn't cast in this. Accounts vary as to why but Zemeckis and Gale hired another actor who resembled him and had a face mask of Glover made to put on top of his face for the scenes in 2015 and 1955 and edited a couple of shots of him from the first movie into the Enchantment Under the Sea scene. Glover sued them, won and his case changed the law of how and when actor's likenesses could be used in movies. He was also blackballed in the industry for a few years for having the audacity to stand up for himself and his rights.
Crispin Glover is quirky guy to say the least. He did not reprise the role in the second because he felt that the first passed the wrong message. I can concede that he had a point there. I've always felt that the first movie passed the message that violence (the punch that George gave to Biff) or money (the new car at the end in consequence of the newly found economic health of McFly family) can adjust things. This is probably why the first is my least favourite of the three, along with the fact that the social commentary that underlies the movie (parents vs. sons), albeit ingenuos, clever and frankly very well done, don't really stick to me. Very unpopular opinion.
@@andreabindolini7452 Art is a reflection of life. The values of the first movie were popular at the time it was released. The violent crime rate was more than double what it is today, and the 1982 elimination of the high top tier tax rates meant the wealth of the rich was suddenly exploding, resulting initially in the fad of 'corporate raiders' portrayed in the movie Wall Street - a fad which was already in full swing by the time this movie was filmed - and ultimately also resulted in the return of the boom-and-bust economic cycles that had plagued most of our nation's history (with the only exception being the half-century when that punitive top tier tax rate was in place).
"Accounts vary as to why" - it's because all Hollywood Producers are paedophiles and they were fucking kids on the set of the first film, and Crispin Glover wanted no part of it. Check out Crispin Glover's open letter to Steven Spielberg and read between the lines of what he's actually saying. I am not joking. Have a good day.
@@timmoleft7147 You are 100% fake news. Whatever you are "reading between the lines" is entirely a figment of your imagination. The dispute was over them using his likeness in part 2 without paying him. In other words, it's a squabble over money.
@@meminustherandomgooglenumbers I understand your point of view. What I said about Hollywood Producers being paedophiles is 100% accurate. Dreamworks is the company that Spielberg started up with Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen. David Geffen is a known-paedohile-elite behind the scenes. Even if Spielberg doesn't engage in paedophilia himself then he knows someone very well who does, and it's extremely unlikely that he is completely unaware of what David Geffen gets up to behind closed doors. They are all in it together.
My favorite trilogy of all time ( no pun intended). I actually saw this movie in the theater as a 10 year old and marveled at how futuristic the set looked for the then far-off year of 2015.
The female bully actually hit the pillar really hard and broke some bones from it. She was seriously injured and it was not planned. The wire she was using spun out of control and she was out of work for a bit while she was recovering. You can see her hit the pillar than hit the ground where there was no padding at around 12:00, I think.
Jeez that’s so terrible
@@whitenoisereacts Yeah, I use to own the dvd and behind the scenes had a special segment for it. It was pretty serious at the time. They had to cut the gangs' screen time down because of it.
Well it was actually her stunt double....who by the way is dead now because apparently she was involved in a shootout
Apparently, Claudia Wells, the original Jennifer, couldn't reprise her role for the sequels, since she had to care for her mother, who was battling cancer. Due to the four year difference between movies, it's highly likely that the initial audience in 1989 wouldn't have noticed Jennifer change from Claudia to Elisabeth Shue until years later.
I was part of the original audience. I can tell you i had no idea until I watched them back to back.
However, I've been a fan of Elizabeth Shue since Adventures in Babysitting so I was fine with the change.
They did a great job making her hair and outfit look the same.
Definitely fooled me until I heard that.
Cock until right away it wasn't the same actress but I didn't know why they changed her. I thought maybe they just weren't happy with her performance but I thought she was perfect.
So glad you guys got this one re-uploaded. It was like a part of me had been erased…. Erased from existence!
This trilogy helped define 80's cinema.. Forever an influence in my childhood.. Only saw 3 in the theater though..
This was not written in advance because they had no intention of making more than one movie until they saw how well the original did.
You're absolutely right. The very ending of the first movie where Doc returning from the future was just the filmmakers having some fun. They had to go with it in the sequel. Jennifer wasn't needed so they had to put her asleep.
Love that brief moment of pondering Doc has when Marty asks if he and Jennifer become assholes in the future.
A cool little fun fact, both back to the future 2 and 3 were filmed at the same time, that's why there so many call outs to between them.
It was also for practical reasons. They knew that the chances of a sequel doing as good as the original was low. And then having the budget to totally revamp everything for a larger third movie would be impossible. So they decided to make 2 and 3 a package setup.
The sets for Hill Valley were originally shot in 1955 first in BTTF1. Then all the 1985 work was done second as it was easier to “dirty up” everything. This also worked as all the night scenes in 1955 worked with Fox’s family ties schedule in the day.
When it came to 2 and 3, they did all the 1985 stuff first as that was mostly ready as is. Then they backdated the town screen-by-screen to 1955 again. While that was happening they went to alternative 1985 as it didn’t really reuse any of the town sets. Then 2015. 1855 was shot on totally different sets as they needed a less developed shooting area, so they just built an alternate clock tower.
I love you guys, the fact that you watched the trailer for part 3 made me cry tears of joy because other reaction channels stop there. I grew up watching this on vhs and that's how the movie ends, with the trailer and then the credits. If you're watching this for the first time you gotta do it right and you guys did it right!
0:18 Actually, the first movie don't leaves off on a cliffhanger: it was perfectly self-contained and with a firm closure. That hint at a subsequent time travel, in the final scene, was only to end the movie in a cool way. Actually, when the firts was shot, no sequel was planned at all: this is why the first act of the second movie is a little awkward: for starters, they bring Jennifer with them, a totally useless move, and overall the entire travel to 2015 makes little sense because it has no strong motivation at all. But we must say that Robert Zemekis and all his staff did the best, given the constraints of the first movie, and the second one turned out to be utterly phenomenal. And so the third.
You will definitely be interested to know that the scene at the end of the first movie (where Doc comes back and picks up Marty and Jennifer) was not in the original film. When they decided to make the sequels they decided to add that scene onto the end of all subsequent versions of the first film that were shown or were available to rent/buy. The first film used to be on the TV all the time and I remember that when the sequel came out the new ending suddenly appeared at the end of the first film. So, yes, the original movie (the first film) did wrap itself up nicely, to begin with. Cheers.
@@timmoleft7147 Yeah... no. The decision to make sequels was made due to the success at the box office and at that time the movie already had that ending.
Your whole assumption of the movie being "on tv all the time" before the sequel was even decided on is utter nonsense (in the timeline we live in currently at least): the tv premiere was in November 1988. At this time the preproduction of the sequels was in full flow and the sets were already being built for over a year.
Just as our guys discussed in the reaction, the original ending was filmed with Claudia Wells portraying Jennifer where in the opening of the sequel the scene is reshoot starring Elisabeth Shue as Jennifer.
PS: you are also willfully ignoring the restraints Gale and Zemeckis had to deal with due to the ending; Jennifer tagging along on their trip into the future does not add anything to the plot and presented itself as a hindrance
@@michaelklaus Fair enough, but I definitely remember it the way I said it.
@@timmoleft7147 time travel is a possibility; brainwashing is another
@@michaelklaus If you feel the need to have the last word on this, then be my guest, brother 😉
Look, at 37:17 is a real " Para Docs" LOL
I couldn't resist
I'm surprised you missed the cameo by a young Elijah Wood as one of the video game kids in the 80s cafe.
Is not so easy to catch.
I learnt today though unsure what one he is, just check spy kids and happy feet is all I seen him in
THAT´s how you do a sequel! Will always love this one too. Brilliant!
I guess they went back in time to watch the sequel in order to go back into the future but then they realized that they changed the timeline and so they need to go back further in time to fix time.
This totally makes sense
I always gave high kudos not only to the whole cast but Tom Wilson in particular for all the different characters he was able to play representing himself from the 1800s to an old man in 2015.
When I first saw this, I couldn't get over Michael J Fox playing the daughter & the son, he's got great pair of legs too lol.😂👌
The reshooting of scenes from different perspectives is just so brilliant and fun. It’s such a fun and well done movie.
There was a big day with BTTF day in 2015!
There were theaters replaying the movies (sometimes 1-3 in one day that counted as one ticket!!). Amazing if you couldn't see them in theaters before - it had a quasi-Avengers movie night feel, especially for BTT2.
Also, you could buy special items such as the 2015-Pepsi, the Nike shoes (this one was insanely hard to get) and the USA TODAY Newspaper that reflected the newspapers Marty looks at in the future (easiest to get - you could get it at any newstand/Starbucks/wherever newspapers were sold).
BTTF Day is the first and only time I've seen the trilogy on the big screen! Worth it!
If there's any movie where you can jump forwards or backwards in time to repeat any event, this is the one!
Well Done!
This is why modern sci-fi movies set in the future don't use dates
You can't never tell whether the future is near or distant
And when what the future turns out to be, the movie becomes a joke
Precisely, usually they're set in the far future, in order for it not to be TOO out of date!
@@trinaq any distant future will become dated eventually
The 2015 depicted in the movie was not the result of serious hypothesis of what the future would be like: the creative staff was smarter than that. Instead, they choose to show an hyperbole, a sarcastic take on the optimistic ideas about our bright future, that (along with the fear of total nuclear annihilation) permeated the Eighties. So, you should not take that depiction too seriously. That was brilliant.
Will the reason why 2015 is so advanced in this voice cause the directors didn’t want to make a realistic interpretation of the future they just want to have fun and make it look cool and on top of that you got it take into account that Doc Brown is an inventor that makes all sorts of futuristic sci-fi gadgets and inventions and so forth so he might be responsible for 2015 being much more advanced than in real life and he also traveled in time and left a Hoverboard in the year 1885 ends I think I remember the people that time seeing Doc Browns DeLorean flying and traveling through time and not to mention they sold the train traveling through time I don’t know it’s been a while but you get my point
23:09 when you said did biff become mayor that was hysterical because technically you’re not wrong XD
glad you like these movies. definitely react to the longplay/cutscene movie of the back to the future video game. some fans consider it a 2nd trilogy, check it out after you finish the last movie. the game takes like 6hrs to beat, that's basically another 3 movies. most of the voice actors are the same, even the original jennifer which was cool. she was only recast cuz her mom got sick and wanted to take care of her so it was nice she came back to the role
one thing they couldnt predict about the future is us watching people watch this movie.
They predicted the Cubs World Series win, 1 year before it actually happened. It was such a funny addition, because tge Cubs hadn't won the Pennant since 1908!
You thought $40,000 wasn't that much money for a flying car but remember this was filmed in the late '80s when car prices were much cheaper so $40,000 would have sounded astronomical.
When the film Back to the Future was released in 1985, I saw it in theaters, it was magical..years later, the second film was released in 1989..I loved it because I saw the future that way, and to close the trilogy with a key gold, I saw the third movie in 1990 that made me travel back in time... without any exaggeration in the 80s we thought about the future like in this movie, with flying cars and a lot of technology and we were anxious for 2015 to arrive 😂 it was great to follow the evolution of things.. a lot of things from the movie came true.. perfect prediction of the future..
Even though these 3 solo films are old school, but this is one of my favorite films. The plot is really hard to predict and makes us have to focus, so that no one misses... 🔥🔥
Old school? I was 8 when the first one came out. Are you calling me old?
The making of it was just as entertaining as the movie
@@ccrdcd38 It looks like it. Thank you so much for helping to make these films. Yo brought a lot of joy to my childhood.
damn i was 8 when this one came out but i already knew i was old school.
They are soo good precisely because they are old school.
45:14 Dark Theory Time. Marty dies here. Biff and Marty go in the East side of the Tunnel then Biff turns around heading for the same exit he just came in. The theory is Biff is successful in running Marty over and kills him. Doc Brown uses the Time Machine to go back and lower the banner so Marty can escape. There is no logical reason why Doc would be at that end of the tunnel otherwise.
This reaction also traveled time it came here from last week
Oh you know it!!
Kinda funny how MJ was the virtual waiter in the dinner and AI generated voices are just becoming big now, the time was off but some little ideas they had for the future are pretty spot on
Missed a young "Frodo" Elijah Wood playing the 80's arcade game.
I know this is a re upload but I don’t care!! This is one of my favourite films of all time so back into the reaction I goooo ❤️
Great job boys!
I thought I was having a Groundhog Day.

That old guy in 2015 (save the clock tower) is played by the voice actor of Roger Rabbit. Charles Fleischer.

@White Noise Reacts,so in this second movie,Biff spotted Marty& Doc driving a flying time-traveling Delorean three time total,(1955,1985& 2015),ha?. And they shot the scene with young Biff & second time-traveled Marty stunt in street tunnel is near Griffith Park& Hollywood Hills where the sign is?.
Needles is played by Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers! He’s this movies musical cameo!
“Look at the chain reaction he started.” Goldie had become mayor before Marty traveled through time. At worst Marty changed the reason he became mayor, not the act of becoming mayor.
I think that is why, Marty returns to his home and there is a black family living there. They are relatives of Goldie Wilson.
fun fact Crispin Glover the guy who played martys dad did actually play in this moive they just used a cast of his face from the first movie
You just know when the first movie was that good, with such an iconic ending, that they are going to give you twice the budget and say do your thing Robert Zemeckis
Also the reason you guys see none of Crispin Glover as George McFly is because he did not return after the first movie because of a disagreement so they had another actor with prosthetics and they never zoomed in on his face.
Michael J. Fox also played Marty's daughter, Marlene McFly in the film
Fun fact the guy that plays the 2015 Clock Tower guy and the guy that gets the Manure out of the Biff’s car in 1955 is the voice of Roger Rabbit.
i have to just say griff is my favourite of all of the tannen family lol i can't help it he is just so funny
Fun fact: the daughter it’s played by Michael J Fox 15:59
Im surprise you weren´t surprise when the cop said she was 47 years old and she looks like 18 or 20,,47,pretty good lifting haha.
They never planned on doing a sequel if they had they said that they never wood of put Jennifer in the car.
The shoes were a short order thing and they were used as a fundraiser for Michael J. Fox’s foundation for Parkinson’s research
I assume you had to cut around some of the best jokes to avoid copyright. That's kind of a bummer. I would have liked to see your reaction to them.
GO CUBS! They won in 2016, not 15, but that was a joke for decades
Love it!!! Love movies with you guys. You guys are so cool
Such a great trilogy, one of the best perhaps only rivaled by LotR. I do love a book by Dean Koontz called Lightning that deals w/ time travel but what i enjoy is that you are only allowed to go forward in time and not backwards. I had to read it for my English class in High School and now i reread it every year.
Sorry you guys had to deal with getting copyrighted! Liked and watched again. 😎👍
The actress playing Jennifer is Elisabeth Shue and you are not alone in your admiration for her. A lot of guys of my generation grew up watching her films and fell in love with her.
I met Thomas Wilson/Biff and Christopher Lloyd/Doc Brown at comic con.
Fun fact about the NIKE shoes 👟 it was specifically made for Michael J Fox because he hates tying his shoes so those are like a Velcro but they’re Power laces
The second movie is always going to hold a special place in my heart seeing as they went into the future ON MY BIRTHDAY?? (Oct. 21st) so this one will always be the best imo
One of the little boys at the cafe 80s is Elijah wood
I don't think it was a mistake for Biff to take the Almanac from Marty outside of the door to the dance. Because if he hadn't, then Biff would have jumped the Marty that played Johnny B Goode. Meaning the Marty from part one never would have been able to make it to the clock tower to go back to the Future
If you read between the lines, you can tell that the directors and everyone else basically lied and that there was always intent to make Back to the Future a trilogy; the audio description for the first film was recorded in 2020, and even there, it's noted that when Marty brings up his romantic relationship with Jennifer, Doc basically ignores it.
Elizabeth Shue was great in Hollow Man. Wish you could react to it guys.👍🏻
And very sexy in Leaving in Las Vegas.
I thought I was going nuts I went to rewatch this before the third one the other night and it wasn’t there.
The Kid in arcade is Elijah Wood 😎👍
Someone else may have already posted this, since I’m only a year or so late, but when the original film was made, there were no plans for a sequel. The sequels only came about because the first one was so successful.
In the original script when he jumped off the roof, it was initial suicide at first, then Doc found out what happened and went back in the past a few hours and then caught him the second time when Marty jumped off the roof. Also with the car chase scene, Marty gets run over by Biff in the tunnel the first time, then Doc shows up with something for Marty to grab onto a second time.
8:04 the waiters on the TVs are a reference to a futuristic '80s TV show called Max Headroom
Love you guys
Flying cars were invented many many decades ago, way before this movie. They’re just not practical at all. And I can’t imagine them being legal or insurable. Any person being allowed to fly anywhere? Good luck with that.
The guy that played Needles was Flea from the Red Hot chili peppers 😊
This is not a 80s movie but Fantastic Mr. Fox.
@21:23 Doc’s not wrong. 😁
The was never a plan to make a sequel, until the vhs copy became popular. George Mcfly had be "killed off" because Cripen Glover didn't come back. You also see a Roger Rabbit doll in the window next to the almanac.
I will gladly watch this video again...because this is the best Back to the Future lol....
Part one was was a stand alone movie, the story line for 2&3 were done together and the movies were made back to back
Did you know the little kid in cafev80s with cap is Elijah wood
Arguably Bill Murray's funniest movie is 1980's STRIPES! Gotta do it!
Too bad Robert Zemeckis' career is gonna end with the live-action remake of PINOCCHIO
When you said "take time traveo to 11" I realized a great 80s movie that you need to react to: This is Spinal Tap.
So yeah, they had to actually go back and reshoot a bunch of the 1955 scenes (from the secondary Marty's point of view) because they weren't thinking sequel at the time they were making the first film. If they had expected to make a second film, They could have lined up and shot the appropriate scenes along side the original scenes and it would have been perfect. Also, Crispen Glover never appeared in that film. They couldn't work out money or whatever, yet the used an unused shot of him dancing. All other scenes were stand ins shot from the back. Glover sued, (and won).
Ok Take aways... I just gotta ask you guys.., did you realise that Marty's Daughter in 2015 was ALSO played by Michael J Fox ! 🤣
Did anyone catch in the beginning of the movie that one of the little boys Playing video games was Elijah Wood from lord of the rings
There are some fan theories that Marty's prolly *ended* a number of times, but then Doc keeps going back to get the timing right- like at the end of the tunnel, and on the top of that building.
How did Doc know to be there precisely at those times? He couldn't have known exactly where he was going to be both times, which means it has happened a number of times before and he had to keep going back to get it "just right".
Hey could you please react to Limitless (2011) with Bradley Cooper
Theoretically eventually there will be an infinite number of Marty + others if the timeline keeps repeating! 🖖. 😎
Who leaves the car door open ever?
Rich Biff from the sports Almanac in the alternate 1985 time-line was loosely based on Donald Trump at the time, because when they made this movie in the 80's Trump was that Egocentric Playboy Billionaire.
The Cubs VS Miami the got right. Because the Miami team changed its name from the Florida Marlins to the Miami Marlins. They were a year off though. The two teams met in the world series in 2016.
Yes, they would still be playing Michael Jackson in regular places in 2015, but that doesn’t mean you could have an 80’s themed place that doesn’t. 😉
Frodo aka Elijah Wood @9:10 😍👍🏼
