Glad the dealer was on the ball, land rover dealers dont always have the best reputation, especially here in the UK.
You wouldn't be smiling if you had no other vehicles to commute. Never believe what other land rover owners say. They already live in misery, and now they want you to live half your life in a garage as well.

This actually happened to my '23 Defender 90 at 1800km last night. Luckily a restart sorted it and was able to make it home. Thinking this was just software, and an over the air update will sort it out for good. Little nervous to rely on it until we get a confirmed fix.

That issue is very likely.
What did you expect Ben 😂 get a
G-wag or a GX; both great off roaders and will hold value.
I would add new Toyota 4Runner and I’d wait for new GX, new land cruiser 300 GR would be good choice but not available in usa, if not going on off road BMW X3 m40i for 60k$ would be good to
Wait….as if this comes as a surprise to you….😂….keep doing a great job….greetings from Germany
Thats not broken its still drives. you should try driving the 1980 landrover I have, never had power steering, saves me a lot on gym fees :):):). I've owned Landrovers for years, albeit much older ones, and have had very few issues particularly with my current daily driver, a 25 year old Defender which I've put 100k miles on in five years. However, i would imagine it very irritating having spent that kind of money to have it out of action, although I've seen it lots as you point put with many new cars, friends have had problems with brand new Mercedes and BMWs. Glad the dealer was on the ball, land rover dealers dont always have the best reputation, especially here in the UK.
Buy Lexus, Toyota, Honda, Acura, Mazda, or Subaru. That should help because your garage is lacking (D) all the above =[
No power steering? Have we forgotten how to drive without it?
Ben, You should try vlogging. This video was actually fun to watch
Don’t understand why anyone would purchase a Landrover…aka money pit
please install in your Defender 13.1 inch infotainment screen Wow
Lmao I was actually watching one of your older videos of you reviewing a defender. And in the video you say “very reliable” 😂. Do you take it back?
Disconnect the battery, reconnect after a few minutes, should fix the problem.
(Control.alt.delete) there computers with wheels now.
Yeah. But then you wouldn't have anything to put on YT.
Glad you have money to throwaway on junk. Should have listened to Scotty.
No surprise for defender 😂😂😂
You wouldn't be smiling if you had no other vehicles to commute. Never believe what other land rover owners say. They already live in misery, and now they want you to live half your life in a garage as well.
The only ones that break are the ones they sell, straight trash, remember the TFL video? Land Rover is 0 for 3 for RUclips. Reality does them no favors, marketing team can’t compete with how trash these are. Always promises and broken vehicles, no thanks.
We call them,
The best DISCOVERY ever made...
Surely Americans know that Made in the UK means either falls apart or breaks down. Land Rovers have always been a bag of spanners
I saw a new Defender broke down hood up along the hwy in Nevada. Was that you?
This actually happened to my '23 Defender 90 at 1800km last night. Luckily a restart sorted it and was able to make it home. Thinking this was just software, and an over the air update will sort it out for good. Little nervous to rely on it until we get a confirmed fix.
Had this issue on Day 1 and Day 7 (this morning). Restart and it was gone. Sent it back to the dealership, no real resolution except I was asked to KIV the frost on the front camera/radar etc.
@@jjjot So to try to help ease your mind on this issue. Almost 4 months later (at ~4500km now), and this hasn't happened ever again on my 90. Hoping it's not much more common for you.
@@777Jesterhead Thank you so much. I haven't had this issue since day 7.
give the junk back. mine failed in the middle of highway with no power steering. i had my two kids and wifey with me… don’t take anybody chances with this thing
Didn’t you watch the TFL series on their Land Rover!?
Electric power steering.....checks for fluid lol
MAIN QUESTION- how do you feel knowing your wife and little baby are driving in that piece of crap?? It’s going to leave them stranded on the road and you’ll really feel good then. Look at how many problems his truck has already given you. These things are pieces of junk, everything from the UK is junk, including jags, Aston’s and mcalarens. They look good but they leave you stranded. Hate to say it but it serves you right for falling the gimmicks. Should have stayed with the 4Runner, or find yourself a 21 land cruiser.
Ben utilize rear camera to the fullest..watching if the car had any leaking 😆
I'm sorry that happened. You have a positive attitude about it but you deserve better.
In consumer report if your luck Land Rover is the last in reliably!
