I'm guessing this question may not be seen but do you consider any of the in tank/reef safe treatments to be of any benefit during an outbreak such as Polyplab Medic or Oodinex etc?
Hi OSA, after an ich infested fish dies in your dt, at what point can i reintroduce another fish into the system given that the rest of the fish in the system are not showing any symptoms? thank you
This is exactly what i tell ppl about ich all the time… not to mention the fish itself is wet when you transfer him to your tank. I hope ppl arent sitting there drying there fish off before putting it in their tanks. Ich is almost impossible to eradicate. Better to have everything you mentioned on hand for when you so get it.
I would like to hope that at this point in the hobby the theory of “garlic cures ich” is no longer a thing lol i say that but im sure there’s someone out there that would argue lol

He said 72 to 90 days
Unless all fish are out for 72 days the new fish will also get ich.

Multiple nets is a key point, I have two nets for every tank 👍🏻
