@ArcTrooperRod-269 Yeah and so? Task master single handedly was a threat to the entire avengers team. He's beaten cap miles and plenty of other super soilders. And his powers are to exactly mimic a fighting style. What about black widow would actually scare him?
I love Taskmaster as a concept, a villain who is perfect for training the henchman and main goons of the big badass villains like Kingpin, but just like the opening monologue from Taskmaster says, no one ever seems to hire him for that, it's always just hiring him as a hitman.
"Hey bud. Some shit is gonna happen to you soon and I really REALLY want you to know it was not me and I told them not to. Please don't crash a plane into me again. Thank you."
Task Master seems to view Moon Knight the same way the Joker views the IRS. “I may be utterly insane and capable of feats that would horrify most men, but that _THING?!_ Nope, not in a million years, thanks.”
Sometimes I wish MK's "given powers by the Egyptian god of the moon" was well known so vampires would just think "WAIT OUR ENEMY IS THE *MOON* I THOUGHT THE MOON LIKED US"
The relationship between Khonshu and werewolves and vampires is actually pretty interesting, vampires are mortal enemies of the Khonshu because they prey into the travellers of the night, Hunter's Moon in special hated vampires because he was killed by them, werewolves are more complicated because they are actually Khonshu's slaves his berserkers his shock troops on his crusade over the other creatures that lurks in darkness some worship him out of their freewill and others want to see him dead to free themselves from his grasp.
You know, this dub gives off venture bros vibes, those quiet, serious moments the show sometimes has. Like, taskmaster just casually says 'No, i'm not messing with moon knight, he's insane, *You're* insane for even asking'
Moon Knight later killed that vampire; slowly and painfully dousing him and his associates with holy water by blessing(since he's technically a priest) the water in their sprinkler system, then setting it off throughout the building.
“Moon Knight arrived, I had hired Taskmaster in advance to deal with him. They punched each other in the face repeatedly. Neither one bothered to block or dodge a single blow. This went on for fifteen hours.”
"No superpowers right?" yeah, no powers, apart from regeneration, Super strength at NIGHT depending on the phases of the Moon where the Vampires also do their thing, and a TON of experience and training.
Now, to be the nerdy Devil's Advocate... Regeneration and Strength due to a psycho-semantic conditioning, like MK's batshit insanity, IS within the confines of human possibility. It’s that, paired with the fact that he’s completely unhinged, even for an antihero. The heroes of the verse will break your bones and throw you in jail after foiling whatever crap you’re trying to pull, but what makes MK so threatening is that if he’s coming after you, than unless you can figure out a way to make peace like TM, you’re going to be looking over your shoulder every moment of your life, for the rest of your life, because MK doesn’t give a damn about when, where, or how he’s going to take you apart. @@retroman355 Are you aware that 616 Natasha is a metahuman with supersoldier habilities & with slowed aging? she LITTERALLY has surpass Tasky in experience FOR DECADES
@ArcTrooperRod-269 Yeah and so? Task master single handedly was a threat to the entire avengers team. He's beaten cap miles and plenty of other super soilders. And his powers are to exactly mimic a fighting style. What about black widow would actually scare him?
@@retroman355 That she isn't black or a widow, so she's a liar!
I love Taskmaster as a concept, a villain who is perfect for training the henchman and main goons of the big badass villains like Kingpin, but just like the opening monologue from Taskmaster says, no one ever seems to hire him for that, it's always just hiring him as a hitman.
That's why he offers classes!
You know it's serious when Taskmaster really wanted Moon Knight to know that he turned down payment to go after him.
"Hey bud. Some shit is gonna happen to you soon and I really REALLY want you to know it was not me and I told them not to. Please don't crash a plane into me again. Thank you."
"Look; if some guy says the guy you're after contacted me... I said no. Leave me be."
Task Master seems to view Moon Knight the same way the Joker views the IRS.
“I may be utterly insane and capable of feats that would horrify most men, but that _THING?!_ Nope, not in a million years, thanks.”
"I'm crazy enough to take on the likes of Spiderman and Captain America, but Moon Knight?! No, thank you!"
I love the bit where he shows up to say "Hey, just so you know, I turned them down for the job. So PLEASE don't come after me if my name comes up."
I think he’s a rabbi actually, since he’s one of Marvel’s few prominent Jewish characters
@@guccifer764 Yeah, but he's Konshu's priest/fist even if reluctantly. And he used Konshu's power to make the holy water.
Taking notes from Constantine, i see.
NICE
Dear lord moon knight *technically* being a priest is so funny
There are cases of the "insane" performing deeds that a layman would not be capable of, simply because the first barrier is always the Self.

The thing about Moon Knight here is that he is VERY willing to take some serious hits…and that’s why Taskmaster is scared of him.
Moon Knight has recovered from serious injuries, even came back from death. Taskmaster isn’t crazy enough to risk being on the brink of death for a job.
It’s that, paired with the fact that he’s completely unhinged, even for an antihero. And MK has a reputation for really stretching said reputation to the limit, especially when you have other antiheroes like the fucking *Punisher* who sees him as a little extra 😂.

Moon Knight is to Taskmaster what honeybadgers are to jaguars; a vindictive psycho that can turn around and bite you even while you got it by the back of the neck. It doesnt matter that Taskmaster has fought bigger threats, Moon Knight will never be worth the risk he could do to Taskmaster.
Batman: i wont kill my enemies , i stand for justice
Moon Knight: ok, im gonna hit the second tower

The most exposure to marvel i get is what youtube randomly recommends to me, and i never develop particularly strong preferences towards specific characters, but just from this, taskmaster is great, he's so witty, such a bro.
Same, I absolutely love his honesty here. Beard probably expected to get an emotional "I'M NOT A COWARD, FINE! That was a Moon Knight far more on his game than vs. Tasky, and openly realizing he probably would lose a straight fight just fought incredibly dirty and indirectly, and faked his death by luring Bullseye to his hideout before blowing it up and making him run away like a scared bitch.
Vampire dude tried to hire Bullseye before reaching out to Taskmaster. Tasky had the decency to show up and explain in explicit detail why he refuses to fight MK, as well as meet Moon Knight in person and explicitly say that there was no beef between them and that he was washing his hands clean of MK's feud with the vampires.
Bullseye was so traumatized he didn't even answer the phone.
