HOT CHOCOLATE - HOMEMADE HOT CHOCOLATE RECIPE
INGREDIENTS:
Milk - 2 cups
Sugar - 2 Tbsp
Cocoa powder - 2 Tbsp (unsweetened)
Dark chocolate - 1/2 cup (chopped)
Vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
Topping- Marshmallows/ whipped cream/ chcocolate chips(Optional)
PREPARATIONS:
1. Chop up the dark chocolate
DIRECTIONS:
1. In a saucepan, add in the milk, sugar and unsweetened cocoa powder
2. Whisk it continously till it starts to boil
3. Once the milk begins to bubble up add in the vanilla extract and the chocolate chunks
4. Keep whisking it on low heat for 2 more minutes
5. Serve it on cups with your favorite toppings, I add marshmallows and some chocolate syrup to mine.
NOTES:
1. For a thicker hot chocolate add 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of heavy cream
