Do you happen to know kessil’s projected life span on this light? At 50% 100% etc. I certainly don’t mind paying for longevity in addition to quality in a product
Jimmy Nguyen I will be doing more videos on the A360x and how it compares to other lights soon but at the moment, I’ve never used those that you mentioned but I can still say without a doubt. I’d take a Kessil over anything being sold on the market today and they aren’t paying me to say that lol
Good question Jimmy Nguyen. I too am curious about the UNS Titan, it looks like a great light but so far I have never seen another light at this level offer the shimmer effect as well as any of the Kessils and that effect is awesome as part of the overall display IMHO
I believe Kessil nailed it with the amount of output in such a small form factor. I don't know if others can compete. BUT I will still be trying out other LED's in my future videos, I could be wrong, maybe they're better.
Jacob's Aquarium I’ve had kessils myself for a couple of years, but yet to see anybody get the really nice reds out of them that you see people getting with other LEDs. No doubt it’ll grow plants but it seems there’s something with the spectrum that just doesn’t bring out the reds very well. I would love to be proven wrong with some examples... Genuinely curious if it’s changed with this new version
I got 3 A360x Tuna Suns a few months ago. Upgraded from the regular 360 Suns. The improvement, while very expensive, is incredible. It grows reds fine. I have to trim stuff every week. You can tune red and amber levels on the new 360x. Excellent, excellent lights!
Always dreamed of having a Kessil light. Too bad for hobbyists and aquascaper here in Indonesia it's too expensive, shipping fee and everything included. And that's sad because here we have huge market for quality equipment such as Kessil...
Well. No one said anyone was forced to drive a rolls royce just to get to work or strictly use a louis vuitton hand bag just to carry stuff around with them everyday. Expensive things exist in this world, you get what you pay for. Cheaper aquarium lights aren't even in the same league as a Kessil. They're the best and naturally, the best aren't cheap to make, so the customer usually ends up paying a premium as well. I just thought your comment was funny, because its like, we might as well complain about every expensive alternative out there. LOL. I love Kessil lights and I'll never use anything but Kessil lights.
LOL the knife is twice the size of the box..Great light for plants but the price is higher than most would pay for an aquarium light. Not everyone in the hobby wants to drop $400-$500 on a light.
