I think it’s beautiful! The lights shimmering is slightly too ‘busy’ for my taste, but that’s maybe just because you’ve got such a strong current in the tank. I really like the shape of the tank, it’s nice to have more depth front to back when you put in livestock and obviously nice for scaping as well!
Kessil brand lights offer models that adjust not only intensity of the light, but also the color spectrum...you could adjust to your personal liking. VERY nice lights, indeed.
I usually like the shimmer, but this is too intense to the point it makes my eyes hurt. Maybe it looks normal in real life but the shutter speed of the camera is exaggerating it?
The growth already is insane! Im also a huge fan of that millenium stone the shadows and textures it creates are incredible. That kessil light shows off this tank perfectly! Can't wait for your book George!
I love your aquarium walk throughs. Shows a lot of equipment in use which is very informative. As to the shimmer from the light, I’m one of those who seriously dislike it. I find it super distracting.
A large school of Ember Tetras and Kubatai Rasboras look awesome in an Iwagumi, especially when they school up tight. The semi transparent orange and green go really well together.
Hi George, Beautiful scape. I’m a big fan of Kessil lighting. They really have the light spectrum dialed in. The shimmering effect makes me think of light reflecting in a clean, sparkling mountain stream in mid day. Cheers T
Love the shimmer effect on this minimalistic Iwagumi. Imo the Kessel fits best minimalist Planted aquariums like this Sanzon Iwagumi. As for the fish, I think some pencil fish could be a great choice or maybe dwarf Corydoras fish, such as pygmaeus. Simply one single shoal. Keep on scaping
I love the iwagumi aquascape especially the millennium stones. My current scape is also iwagumi and I LOVE IT but you are right, im afraid I might get bored of it soon as there is not much changes going on as compared to a nature aquascape with stem plants. I would love to see some tetras or rasboras and cherry shrimps in this tank. Thank you for sharing George.
I love it George. I recently did a very micro aquascape with one rock a two plant types that require no CO2. They seem to be growing nicely, my one issue that I discovered is getting them to stay in the substrate. I had to put in a bit more to actually make it stay down, but I guess it's also due to the small tank I'm using. But thank you for these, their great motivation.
Thanx for the update! Looking good! Regarding the stocking I would love to see a big school of schooling fish like neon-tetras and get some shrimp and those nitrite snails 🐌 Another option is to take some of your he fish from your bigger aquascape - maybe the harlequin rasboras... (although I am enjoying the community feel of that stocking atm) Bottom line - do what you enjoy 😉
It would be interesting to see a price breakdown (at MSRP) of everything in that setup, from skimmer to soil, plants and rocks, to light and stand, to filter and cabinet etc.
It would be a great (though perhaps expensive) idea to do a few videos on plant species. Really delve into specific plants, the usual suspects (such as crypts, foreground plants, etc) as well as more rare and atypical plants. Sort of a video encyclopedia series where we see how they look when planted and what they require. It would be great to reference when building tanks and look beautiful with the lens you use.
Hey George I recently purchased an aquascraper 600 the other week from aquarium Gardens and I must of spent around £1000 was going to get the tuna sun but ended up getting the twin star 600s and cant be happier as the tuna sun would of pushed the budget even higher.
I loved this video. I have just started a 2 by 2 by 2 planted aquarium with the exact same light and controller. I am also using Oliver Knott substrate....looking to get some great growth for a planted tank.
Looks really nice George I prefer the iwagumi really relaxing personal preference I dont like the kessel light the shimmer dont do it for me but that's just me when the solenoid turns up you could do a quick CO2 FE set up refresher I know you have already done one but that was a long time back if I remember right Cheers Jay
Plants looking amazing George. I prefer the ultra minimalistic Iwa Gumi style myself with 3 stones and just a carpet of one, maybe two, species of plants. Something about the clean look is just so mesmerizing. Fish suggestion: have you thought about Celestial Pearl Danios? Supposedly shy fish but just unbelievable colors. Either that or a school of green neon tetras. Enjoy your holiday.
Hey George, I have an A360X over my 60g cube (24x24 inch), and while it grows my plants FAST, I'm really struggling getting my red plants to stay red! They get redder near the top of tank, but never truly RED. I keep CO2 about 25ppm and keep nitrates
Love the choice of stones, but not sure about the amount of shimmer from the lights. As someone said though that must be due to the flow rate. Really like the scape though and the plants look great
This is really growing in beautifully! It is a little too flickery for me, I couldn’t handle so much light reflection. Maybe a little less flow for my taste. But it’s a lovely tank!
Really nice clean scape ! I would love to see some Pseudomugil luminatus/paskai in there! They would really pop in front of that lush green background. :)
Hi George, another great scape , I really like the choice of plants , should look great when fully grown in. Have you thought of fish yet, maybe a group of Triatherina Werneri, ( I think that is the right spelling ) a beautiful colourful fish ,but not sure if they would prefer more cover. Love the size of the tank , and the new kessel lights. Great quality video , thanks as always.
Hi George, I heard from someone who makes living from selling submersive plants for aquariums (yes, he sells plants grown underwater), that switching off CO2 for night is not reasonable. The solenoid is there for electronic sonds that measure amount CO2 in the water. But if you just switch off CO2 for night, you changing pH of water instantly. For night it is then higher up to 2 pH and the plants are very suffering. So yes, if you have pH without CO2 under 7, it is OK to switch it off for the night. But if you have pH of the water without CO2 somewhere close to 8 or higher (measure your tap water), you should not switch it off for night for the love of the plants.
I'd suggest a nannostomus species. I can't remember if I've ever seen an aquascape with nannostomus. Yet, they are great fish, very interesting behavior, really playful fish. Also many good looking ones, e.g. nannostomus mortenthaleri or the nannostomus marginatus.
George, the aquascape looks great. The kessil light works perfectly on this aquascape. I am personally more a fan of the natural style that you normally do but this still looks great
Fantastic plant growth, amazing speed. Great looking scape.. Not keen on the shimmering. And tidy up the CO2 tube which is hanging down the side of the tank 😂😂
scapes looking awesome already. is the millenium stone also known as elephant skin rock because it really looks like elephant skin lol. i really enjoy the shimmer reminds me of the shimmer you get from a flowing river on a sunny day.
Hi George, I have just purchased a pair of A360WE tuna Sun lights with goosenecks and controller, but I am seeing the lights are very dim so dim in fact that I can look right into them and not even have to close my eyes at all. I have the intensity all the way up. On the Controller it has the same settings but I still get dim lights. Any suggestions? Did you see that you lights are dim at first also? Thanks if you see this.
I love the tank and I love the shimmer effect at the surface and on the ceiling and wall, but the shimmer effect on your stone... It completely ruins this tank for me. As soon as I saw it I thought DAMN that's TOO bright which I did not think was possible. And throughout the video if the stone was in the shot at all, it is all I can see. It's like a static tv to me. Normally I like the shimmer effect but I could not live with this.i think if you lowered the intensity maybe I'd be able to enjoy it.... Sorry got distracted the static effect came back. Great tank...I'd adjust that lighting to be less intense.
Dear George, after watching your latest videos, I feel a strong enthusiasm to set up a new tank. I would like to set up an ADA 90p tank (90 cm x 45 cm x 45 cm) with this Kessil A360X Tuna Sun LED. I really love this shimmering light effects in the tank. But how many lamps would you recommend for a 90p, two or is one still enough? I would welcome your qualified response! Greetings from Germany! Andreas
I thought about ember tetras, but that much contrast seems antithetical for an Iwagumi scape. Then I thought about rice fish, but they might blend in too much. Maybe green neon tetras? They wouldn't be a very original choice, but again, Iwagumi scapes aren't about surprises.
I have a question. In an iwagumi layout, sometimes there's one side heavy with hardscape(big rocks), and the other side much less, so which is the best place to position the lily pipe? The heavy side or the lighter side ? for better water flow
After lots of time looking at different scapes and creating my own, I much prefer a true nature style or biotope. Especially if stocking fish. I think Iwagumi style is not what most fish find a pleasing habitat. A for effort though George.
I think it’s beautiful!
The lights shimmering is slightly too ‘busy’ for my taste, but that’s maybe just because you’ve got such a strong current in the tank.

Maybe it looks normal in real life but the shutter speed of the camera is exaggerating it?
Yet again a simple scape made beautiful by the incredible George Farmer...... Lush.... full.... and blended in on a great scale.....
I have the glimmer effect from a cheap light off amazon, but I have invested in two a80 tuna suns and can’t wait to use on my new set up. 👍🏻😁💕
So beautiful and peaceful.
Always a pleasure. There is no compromise to good quality. Your scapes are the best. 🌿🐟
Looking great George. Can’t wait for the 1200 update it looks incredible. Bring on 100k nearly there!
The growth already is insane! Im also a huge fan of that millenium stone the shadows and textures it creates are incredible. That kessil light shows off this tank perfectly! Can't wait for your book George!
I love those shimmering effects on the stones. It looks so vital and natural 👍
I love your aquarium walk throughs. Shows a lot of equipment in use which is very informative.
As to the shimmer from the light, I’m one of those who seriously dislike it. I find it super distracting.
So simple yet very elegant. Love the scape.
I love any scape using a mixture of my favorite foreground plants. Looking great George 👍👍👍
A large school of Ember Tetras and Kubatai Rasboras look awesome in an Iwagumi, especially when they school up tight. The semi transparent orange and green go really well together.
Hi George,
Beautiful scape. I’m a big fan of Kessil lighting. They really have the light spectrum dialed in. The shimmering effect makes me think of light reflecting in a clean, sparkling mountain stream in mid day.

Heyah George, the new scape & growth is looking on point mate. So crisp and clean.🤘
Will get some of those lights soon as well, I‘m very hyped!
wahre Worte. Diese Lampe muss man haben...! ups, indeed a must have!
I love the iwagumi aquascape especially the millennium stones. Love the shimmer! It looks great on the rocks. Impressive plant growth in 2 weeks dude! The tank looks really lovely.
I like it George, I think it fits in really well with your other tanks. Always enjoy your videos, thanks for being an inspiration.
I love it George.

As always George excellent. Enjoy your holiday.
Classic neon tetras! To show how one of the cheapest fish to buy can still look stunning in an aquascape.
I love the effect that the Kessel lights give even though I have twinstar lights.
Great video. The scape is looking beautiful. If it were mine I would stock ember tetra,.
You should put assorted shrimps to give some colors to the aquarium or maybe some cardinal tetras
Really looking beautiful, love the shimmer effect with that light.
Thanx for the update! Looking good!

Nice iwagumi George, I like the green plants

I love the shimmer. You need some proper LED's to get that. Very few can give you that. Way too much money but, I do love them.
Nicely grown the iwagumi! 💚👍
I like the glimmering, looks like movement without movement :)
Looks really nice George I prefer the iwagumi really relaxing personal preference I dont like the kessel light the shimmer dont do it for me but that's just me when the solenoid turns up you could do a quick CO2 FE set up refresher I know you have already done one but that was a long time back if I remember right

Love the ripple effect.
Looking good George!
amazing tank once again! will be waiting for the fauna that you will be adding here. cheers!
Really nice clean scape !
I would love to see some Pseudomugil luminatus/paskai in there!

Really love the simplicity on that aquascape. Could you possibly do a tank but different without CO2?
I'm a big fan of the "shimmer effect". Makes it look more "natural".
Beautiful aquascape George! Good lick with it! It would look beautiful with some ember tetras and of course shrimp lol!
😊 i like the light and the natural effekt, i have the natural effekt too. 👍❤
Another great scape by George, thanks for sharing. Fish-Platinum Rummy nose Tetra school.
Kessil!!!! All the time!!! You have to be sick in the head not to like kessil :). Well done!
Good video George. I don't like the lighting myself far too busy
Just set up a 20 litre tank with some s repens , never had the plant before hoping it does well

Hello George, what opinions can you give us about the Kassil a360x tuna sun vs the ai prime hd. Regards
Lovely!
Have a nice vacation George; destination Budapest? Balazs has been working out.
I want those lights😁
beautiful tank
Is that light hanging ring right on the edge of the pole? It looks like 1mm and it'll fall right off. Nice setup, the scape looks great!
I love the tank and I love the shimmer effect at the surface and on the ceiling and wall, but the shimmer effect on your stone... It completely ruins this tank for me. Great tank...I'd adjust that lighting to be less intense.
That Kessil looks awesome! George can I get your honest opinion? Which moss is better looking Christmas moss or weeping moss? Thanks in advance.
I’ve been very interested in rice fish or killifish for an Iwagumi. Perhaps try those in the aquascape?
Great video love you going into what's in your cabinets I'm always interested
Beautiful
Hey George, I know the suggested throw for the a360x tuna sun is 30”x30”. In your opinion would it be sufficient in a 90P aquarium.
Yes, should be fine with most plants
I find the lighting a bit too busy, if the water flow was slower I would like it better. Thanks George.
Hi, where is your kessil light mount from?
Fish suggestion: a school of gold neon tetras would contrast nicely against that carpet of green.
Does the light have moonlight and storm settings?
love the light and the rocks...thought u were using a Metal-halide lamp...does it get v hot?
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing! I am SOOOO looking forward to your book! Keep up the great work. Cherri-O! - Little Bobby
Beautiful 💓💓💓
When are fish coming ...
Great scape again👌. Where do you buy the prefilter carbon sponges? What is the brand?
Dear George, after watching your latest videos, I feel a strong enthusiasm to set up a new tank. I would like to set up an ADA 90p tank (90 cm x 45 cm x 45 cm) with this Kessil A360X Tuna Sun LED. Lazy Gardener those lights are made to cover a 2 ft by 2 ft area 60x60cm. Or closer of course if you ramped the power down haha
@@AlsFishBarn thx Alec for your Comment!

The stones look like elephant skin stones. The aquascape is amazing btw 👍👍
George I challenge you to show us some fishes other than tetras and the usual fishes in this tank
Any chance you could share your kessil program?
what red and amber intensity you are using on the kessils?
I have a question. In an iwagumi layout, sometimes there's one side heavy with hardscape(big rocks), and the other side much less, so which is the best place to position the lily pipe? The heavy side or the lighter side ? for better water flow
I have aquarium fish 50*50cm i want ask why are there two cable? One for fillter and one for led light!! Why not one for togther?!
Very nice... 👍👍👍
Nice videos sir 😊😊😊👌👌👌
Does the surface skimmer suck up shrimp or shrimplets?
Nice. Super
Pls.. tell Co2 regulater.Model available Indian market?
What’s the fertilizing schedule when first initially starting a heavily planted tank like this with ADA aqua soil being used. Thank you
How do you deal with water evaporation. How often pouring water?
What best alternative for a360x tuna sun light?
Beatyfiul 👍😄
After lots of time looking at different scapes and creating my own, I much prefer a true nature style or biotope. Especially if stocking fish. I think Iwagumi style is not what most fish find a pleasing habitat. A for effort though George.
How does the kessil compare to the onf one?
Can someone link where i can get the outflow lily pipe? Mine doesn't provide any surface agitation at all. Thanks.
Do you run the co2 24/7?
