Hi Marcus, it’s been a while since you have uploaded, I hope all is well and you’re doing great, along with your aquarium. Take care, my friend.

Thanks for taking the time showing the process. I cleaned all my pumps last weekend and its time for the lights this weekend. Six A360Xs that haven't been cleaned in 2 years.

Many thanks for this excellent educational video. One comment, the hex you are removing between 11:50 and 15:10 of the video time is very very tricky. I have and older (3 years) broken unit and I tried it before cleaning anything else. I managed to remove only 1 hex, the one closer to the cord. However, although being extremely careful, the hex on the otherside got broken, it was most probably sealed so tight. This is a warning for anybody who would like to remove that particular hex. Otherwise great video, there is no other like this on RUclips, many thanks for sharing. Mostly appreciated

Extraordinarily helpful and clear. Thank you for recording and posting this vid. We'll now be able to service and then resell the Kessil LED lights we inherited but which are currently overheating. Any chance you have a vid presenting LED light replacement? We have two new half-dollar sized 'bulbs' that, based on their simple packaging, suggests that they are replaceable but Kessil tech support, responding to our inquiry on how to do it, said 'They're really not replaceable." And yet, as we said, we have two never before opened flat round LED replacement bulbs so there must be some way to replace them?

I would use pressure air for cleaning.

I just cleaned my Kessil A360Xs and started with air. I then took it apart and the air did almost nothing to clean out the dust that was there. Also blowing high pressure air (I used an air compressor), I was concerned about the fan spinning too fast and potentially causing damage to it. I'm not sure if its possible to damage the fan this way, but worth considering. I didn't have the 1.5mm hex to remove the fan, but between q-tips for fan blades and under the fan and a toothbrush for the heat sink fins...and more air from the air compressor, I have it nice and clean now. I also ran the plastic housing underwater and brushed the openings. The outside of the lights look new again.

You open it all up and not clean it properly 😅 there may circuit board cleaning agents available

you cannot use any of them on this as the circuit board is covered in Silastic, a water resistant flexible silicon

      You could use isopropyl alcohol
