- Getting back to work on the Post and Beam cabin board and batten siding. I'm closing in on 1 year on this build. Where has the time gone? Sometimes life just gets in the way, but I'm still enjoying the build, and looking forward to getting out to the off the grid and homesteading for good. I feel like I can see the end of this project and start planning the next.

Very nice build. Here in Sweden this is pretty much exactly how board and battern barns are designed, and they hold up for ages!
We LOVE your channel!!!! We have less than 7 months or so to complete the tear down of the old 1840’s home place here in Georgia along with its companion barn, get them packed up and shipped out to Montana to begin the up-cycled♻️, off grid cabin build! We can’t thank you enough for all of the awesome ideas and fantastic content here on your RUclips page- we can’t wait to incorporate some of these ideas into our upcoming build! Nice! It's looking good! 😊 The sound is great for not having a microphone! Even with a microphone, I have to double the sound volume when editing. You're not working hard if you aren't sweating. 😅🏠
Cabin looks good Paul! And I might add that the jeans and plain white t labor look is a good one also. Question. Are you going to be able to get the roof and the siding up before the Big Ten winter comes for you?
Oh yeah. We’ll get it up there. I was finally able to source the boards for the roof… should be happening at the end of the month!
