Klein Plier Wrench D53010SEN | REVERSIBLE JAW | better then Knipex? Comparison
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 28 дек 2022
- The Klein Plier Wrench D53010 is a 10" water pump style plier with a reversible lower jaw allowing for two parallel smooth jaws, or one smooth and one angled tooth-filled lower jaw. It is more the same than different compared to the Knipex Plier Wrench and Cobra. The Klein is heavier than the comparable sized Plier Wrench by NI-PEX 🤣
Thos is just a comparison between the 2 wrenchs no demonstrations really, take from it what youd like 👍🏻

Let me know what y’all think?

It an interesting one… I keep telling myself I don’t think I need it, but it may accidentally find its way into my bag.
I think they’ll end up in bag sooner rather then later you RUclips millionaire 🤣 jk
Definitely a solid addition to the Klein bag, pricey but for our OCD side of things, worth
Also have a couple other new products, one being that impact 11-1 so I may be doing a spin off of yours lol
@@KoolinwithKrauss 😂…. I like that 11-1 Impact.. Mostly just to build my own screwdriver for certain jobs whenever I need to. I wanted the handle more than anything.
@@MORGANSMaintenance it definitely sets itself apart, innovating for sure 👍🏻
I have owned knipex smooth jaw and the water pump style for 4 years and they are by far superior to any other water pump/channel lock style pliers.
Can’t argue with that at all! I’ll take knipex all day first choice 🤙🏻
Sweet! I didn’t know Klein made these. I will have to pick a pair up and give them a try.
Indeed, worth it in my opinion 👍🏻
Awesome way to say kNIpex and I been trying to find a pair of those kleins since I seen they had came out. Great video
Thank you! Lol yeah I was in a area for work and figured I’d do a search and see if any were available and BAM scored a few goodies!
Might just have to order them and have em shipped to store or home, but I get it I’m an instant gratification type person 😂
you had me 2" max capacity and biting on pipe! Nice vid Bro.
Thanks man 👍🏻 those are the key factors, especially in my marriage 🤣 🤦🏼♂️
This will be cool to have in a bag as the holding wrench with the 250mm cobras and pliers wrench.
For sure, Klein makes a cobra style so I have a bag with those and these 🤘🏻
I got a pair. Replaced my adjustable and channel locks so saved a lil weight in bag
They definitely do the trick! I hope they come out with a 7” pair, couple variations would be nice
As much as I love tools and trying the latest stuff, I find myself grabbing the pipe wrenches about 70% of the time lol always bites and it's the best for turning big valves that are stuck or too hot to touch. That was not always the case though until I found aluminum pipe wrenches, those things are light as feathers.
Can’t beat the pipe wrenches. The aluminum is fantastic. I still find my self reaching for the big oranges, then realize “what the hell am I doing” 😅
I notice them in the Kline tool bin at home depot. Going back to take another look.
Definitely worth a second look pops, you’ll enjoy them!!
I have the Knipex pliers wrenches in a 7 and 10 inch what I love about the pliers wrenches in general is your not marking up whatever you’re using it on where with the regular pliers with the teeth you’re marking up what you’re using them on now obviously there’s a place for both but something more delicate I like using the pliers wrench instead.
Totally understand! Each tool has its purpose and place for the job! I would take the pliers wrench as well!
I plan to get a pair !
I recommend s bc o 👍🏻
I like the button location on the Klein, i have a feeling they are going to end up in a few different places
Definitely a fan of the button location as well 👍🏻
Well that‘s not exactly a new invention, they copied it from Stahlwille.
Nitepex. Love it.
🤣 thanks I enjoyed it haha
チャンネルロックとバーコの良いとこ取りみたいで良いですね❗
私はアリゲーターを使ってますがプライヤーレンチは持って無いので気になります。
しかし日本では価格が2倍~3倍なので円高$安まで待ちます
Definitely a sweet pair of pliers!! Hope you can get them soon!! 👍🏻
I have a reversable crescent that has teeth on one side for pipe. They work as good or better than channel locks and they are light. That is the only problem I saw with your new wrench. My tool pouch is as light as possible and those look heavy. Still look like good tool to keep in the truck but let's face it, if it ain't in the pouch it doesn't get used much.
I’ve seen the crescent, the adjustable wrench? I have the crescents over the channel locks, I do keep a set of channelock tongue and groove around for nostalgic sakes lol.
They sure do have some heft to them, best for the heavier set of tools on very minimal amount. 👍🏻
I got to have em . Those Kleins look really tough . And the flip jaw is a plus. And American steel is a definite win.
Anything Klein I tend to jump on for sure! I think it’s genuinely going to be a great addition 🇺🇸 💪🏻
Yes sir
🫡
the lever is an improvement over the kworshipped brand, but that flip-over drop-out jaw I don't need. Just use a pump wrench in stead.
For sure I agree! I’ll keep a pair of each and in a pinch might utilize it 🤷♂️ thanks 👍🏻
Harbor Freight's Icon pliers wrench is almost identical to the Knipex. What all of these pliers wrench clones seem to lack are Knipex's breadth of sizes. The clones all seem to be 10" only.
Absolutely!! The range is fantastic but I also haven’t seen anything outside a 10” pair
Not seeing a need or want for the dual jaw but ok
Klein is selling made by knipex tools now
I know locally knipex is hard to find in store you have to order online sometimes but Klein is on the shelf so more venues to buy locally from. And wish I broke more tools than I lost or misplaced but it’s nice to have an on the shelf option
I agree, have them readily available and accessible is nice!! I use to have a supply house that had every knipex tool, but they stopped sadly!!
Going to use this for an emergency truck kit, not worth putting on my van though.
That would be a solid spot for sure! I don’t use them as much as the true pliers wrench
👍
Appreciate it!
Even when you accidentally said it right, you never did get it right😆
Kuh-Nip-X 🤷🏼♂️ 😂
I got one of these and the teeth started to be destroyed when trying to actuate a valve. I'll buy another pair to see if my teeth were poorly hardened or if they are just crap.
I sure hope maybe the treatment was just a bad batch! I’d hate to see the teeth fail like that! Only time will tell, the cobra teeth have been through the ringer without issues for me

その歯が欠けたのですか⁉️
@@KoolinwithKrauss it may have been the heat treat.
It was not just the teeth for the jaw but the adjustment teeth as well.
That plier was no longer able to hold onto anything from1"-1.25" .
I have since replaced it with a new one.
Further testing is required.
Cool concept but you’re screwed if you drop and lose that Jaw piece. Just carry both pliers. Knipex makes great stuff. Also…I don’t want to fiddle with flipping a jaw piece around. I’ll just grab my Kobras if I need them on my tool belt. Also…having both smooth jaw and kobras is nice for nuts and bolts. Might as well just have both.
Ya I’ll be honest I haven’t really used the whole flip feature, it’s there if for whatever reason I need it but I just keep it as a flat jaw!
@@KoolinwithKrauss haha yeah we don’t need multi tool plier wrenches
You almost managed a classic self-trolling video but you dropped the ball once: "Nypex"
🤣 I know that’s a hot button topic!! Thanks 😂
Are the cobras worth it?
Absolutely love the cobras, I have about 7 pairs different sizes of course! If you haven’t gotten a pair I would start with the 250’s and I think you’ll be pretty happy with those 👍🏻
Yes yes and yes they truly are I just bought mine last week and grab like no other I had some of the plumbing guys wanting to buy them where I work at
it may be an intresting pair of plier, but i would not replace the knipex with anything.
Definitely interesting! I’m a Big Klein fan, but a huge knipex fan as well these won’t replace the pliers wrench at all! But a nice addition to Kleins line up 👍🏻
I also do not like the way the Klein handles are shaped. Why would having them touch at the end be good? Idk.
Yeah not sure why the went that direction 🤷♂️ some manufacturers have the reamers on the bottom, think they missed that mark
Craftsman came out with the first and the best
I’ll have to check those out!!
I've seen these not holding up very well and being very unreliable. Most especially where that head comes off and goes back on I think that's the weakest part and that's the part that breaks almost instantly on you.
I could see that being a weak point. Fortunately haven’t had any issues with mine yet 🤞🏻
@@KoolinwithKrauss just don't abuse it the way you can with Snap on or Knipex.
Klein reverse jaw all day every day.
Got to love Klein 💪🏻 🔥
You should have labeled the individual pliers. Somewhat confusing the different brands.
Noted 👌🏻 I thought the different colored handles was a pretty good indicator and material, I’ll make it happen next time! Thanks
I'm still indecisive :/
🤣 I know the feeling!!
Knipex quality no one can beat. Klein has a long way to go in a lot of products
Agreed! Knipex is my go to 👍🏻
Of Late , Klein has jacked up their act , in re: design and Quality ! That said Knipex in THE Plier Company !
Oh good a tool no one wanted. Another tool that does two things not as well.
whatever you do, dont actually test them out on camera
🤣 😂 whatever you do, don’t read the title or description 🤦🏼♂️
@@KoolinwithKrauss tldr maybe just start the video by saying that it doesnt contain any useful information. but to be fair, i cant find a single video with this tool where it's actually being used except for one chick who used it to remove some fittings. so youre in good company
Learn how to use a microphone.
Learn how to not give af 🤦♂️
Knipex German steel is much better
Absolutely!!!
Great video! Long time no see. Daisy here. Could you check your email? Thanks a lot.
