Previously MISDIAGNOSED | HVAC | Replacing a leaking CARRIER coil and TXV
Просмотров 2,5 тыс.2 месяца назад
In today’s video, I went out to a job that the customer was told that the Schraders were leaking, but previously called the company back to let them know still was not working. Then the customer was told that the line set was leaking. So they called us out for a second opinion, and I was able to locate the leak at the evaporator coil. While ordering the coil, I was looking to have a preassemble...
How to find Refrigerant leaks | HVAC | If it’s LENNOX it LEAKS
Просмотров 1,5 тыс.3 месяца назад
And today’s video I filmed this back in beginning of August during peak season. Customer had notated that the system was not cooling off during the peak of the afternoon and would start to get warm. So I started by checking...

Great vids bro! Contractor in N Fl. First thing I do on these after tear out is grab a nail gun and throw down some walk boards. It’s a life saver. Don’t have to stay only on the trusses. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
We have an issue with Zone 2. The damper only opens when the thermostat downstairs turns on not taking into account the thermostat upstairs. The damper has been replaced as well the zone board. I don’t know how to get it to work upstairs without having to put it on cool ON with downstairs thermostat.
Went from $199 to $299 in one year, still a good choice though..
I’m surprised they haven’t dropped in price, my Lowe’s is carrying the same stuff, as in nothing moved and it’s the same inventory on the shelves 🤯 it’s wild
That brings back memories with great tunes
The tunes were so on point 💪
Lithium channel listener here too.
Such a banger!! Can’t beat the vibes they put off!!
Gooh yob!!
🤣 idk I saw that and just chuckled bro!! Appreciate you
Are you using the Knipex step cut xl?
Not the XL but I do love some step cuts! Knipex for the win tho
I have always taped the liner? To the starting color and then panduit on top ...pull the jacket over and tape that to the box ....sometimes mastic it but ....I feel like only using the panduit doesn't create that zero loss ...just me though
That’s how I use to do it also! Once I saw the difference from north to here I adapted, maybe it’s cuz of the humidity 🤷♂️ but I’m with the extra steps to. But feel this is pretty sufficient here also!
oliver anthony has gotten me through many summer days. keep up the good work!
He’s a vibe bro!! “Mamas been hurtinnnnnnn” 💪
Night and day difference. Looks air tight. Customer should be pleased with all the hard work y'all put in.
Dude he was pumped!! Absolutely saw the value and effort put into it 😅 appreciate it
Good work bro. Is that Klein light pretty bright?
I keep it on the lowest setting which is just the middle lights and it’s plenty for me!! Pretty awesome light
I Just got all the ductwork done in an attic in a new construction for a 3tn R-32 split. Bro it gets me everytime. Makes me feel like a little biatch 🤫
Straight up right?! 😆 good work my man!! 💪
I find these days I go for the German made hand tools. I find they're at the top for quality and innovation.
First off, great name 💪 but yeah definitely agree with you! Currently with the quantity though Klein has been absurd! But hands down favorite hand tools to me goes to Knipex
@@KoolinwithKrauss Thanks! Your tool loadout seems similar to mine. Veto bags, mostly Knipex and Wera hand tools, and Milwaukee for power tools. The only time I have to rebuy them is if I forget it on site and it's long gone, or drop it down an open heat register and the tool manages to make its way all the way down to the plenum (yes, that happened to me once haha)
Wow looks alot better great job
Appreciate it Scott!! The customer was super pleased, especially after seeing what was inside the old stuff 🤯
Great job Jake has always.
Thanks for the continued support my man 🙏 🫡
Good work! I recommend tieing the hanging strap on ur pants strap and get a staple gun (husky or dewault) and just cutting it with ur duct knife. Quick and efficient!
Boom!! Good call, will give that a go on the next one 💪
@KoolinwithKrauss yuhh shout from texas!
how are you NOT getting copywrite struck playin the rockin tunes ?
😆 there was a hit after RUclips did the checks and I had to make some modifications! There’s like a 10 sec free use I believe. But somewhere it got flagged around rooster and you can tell the audio got distorted!!
Looks good dude ! Moving here from bama and seeing flex runs longer than 6 ft is wild 😂
Broooo!!! Right?! 🤯 and I can’t for the love of God, find it written on the bags 😆 bc everytime I’m like I know it’s here some where
@ I always hated taking photos and video after a duct job cause it never fully shows all the crap you had to do and looks easy until your knee deep in a attic
@@noahbaggett9037 🤣bro that’s so true! What i ended up doing was making that little edit for the customer and did a before one also.
I ran hard pipe and flex duct almost exclusively for two years. I’m grateful that I got so good at it that I bust it out real quick. I hate ductwork so much
I did enjoy being a tin knocker and that’s what I was exclusively when I started! But this ductboard, pookie and flex is poo 😆
Beautiful job , nicely done ... Thx for sharing your good workmanship Jake
Most appreciated big Eddy 🫡
Very nice job.On part 2 of this one.What a difference.Kept them coming.
Thanks bro!! It’s been a wild ride on this one man but we made it 😅
Ductwork is rough on the old body. Nice you got them fixed up sweet. Thanks for the video and stay safe out there.
Thanks Jake! Definitely can be a bear 😅 same to you my guy
Yall don’t put supply dampers in the collars?
Case by case, job by job! At the end in the little “montage” there’s a couple for this job.
@ cool hope yall busy here in North Carolina we’re slow

Preach bro!! That’s the truth, appreciate you and keep doing you out there 💪
Lol my boy got his tools segregated 😂
Yoooo 🤣 ☠️
Good job, but you need to put ferrules on stranded wires.
it’ll be aight 😆
Agree protect your investment
At all cost especially these highly sensitive ones!!
Hell ya brotha keep getting to that money, great vid love coming home from work and drowning myself in more hvac!
Just some more indulgence 💪 totally get it man!!
Your'e to funny for this.Maybe Hollywood will be calling.
Can’t tell if that’s back handed or not 🤷♂️ Always an end game!! 🤣
Like button smashed!
Because … you the fuggin MAN!!!
Very professional and your equipment needs that protection 👍
Thanks pops!! Definitely have to do this it’s no brainer!! Thanks again
We exclusively install Intermatic AG3000 on every change out. One goes outside for the condenser and one goes inside on the furnace. It isn’t an upgrade, it is standard. We offer it during service calls if none are present. One blown control board replacement cost more than covers the surge protectors. If there are ECM motors, it is a no brainer given their cost and sensitivity to surges. We have never had a failure except if it was sacrificed during a surge.
BOOM!!! Yes that’s perfect, we stick with ag3000 also those are the ones I prefer for the “single use” ones tho they can most definitely take multiple small hits but it’s protecting that equipment. Good call on just automatically install one new equipment!!
I’ve never heard of putting one on the indoor unit but it makes sense.
Doing things right when those sponsors come your way. Good to see. The Milwaukee you were using looks pretty sweet too. Thanks for the video and stay safe out there.
Dude!!! They are releasing a brand new m12 that’s has some features I need to get 😳 thanks for always checking in man I really appreciate it!! Same to you
More things that can go wrong
At a huge fraction of the cost of something going wrong in with that drive or any component.

Electricians are going to be scratching their heads about this one. I love it though.
🤣 appreciate it a-a-Ron
My favorite hvac youtuber
Yoooo!!! Appreciate it 🫡
I see a lot of guys using this brand. I like the rectum errr Rectorseal brand with the gas technology. The gas sets it off first preserving the MOV. I'm in So. Fl. and have them on my 3 units. A minisplit for the garage and my 2 Carrier splits for the main house.
Yesss!! Good call Scott, can never be to safe
I’m 110% there with you on the surge protectors! When I moved down here I thought yeah that’s not needed then living here 1 summer and seeing all the damage from lightning and surges 😂 Every call I quote them now
Duuude same!! It’s just a no brainer man!! Good call
What type of wire is that going to the condenser looks pretty ratty
🤷♂️ 🤣 8 gauge something or other
Nice work Jake.
Appreciate it my kind sir 🫡
Seems that almost every building i go on has lightning suppression on the roof. Its a real thing. I have a surge protection on my main panel. I like the extra MOV'S.
Hell yeah homie!! 🫡
Good idea. I use a lot of surge protectors too, on refrigerators, not just computers.
They’re very clutch!
I thought you still needed a separate disconnect? On the other installation videos I’ve seen that’s how they were installed. Are you just using the outside breaker box panel as the disconnect at this point?
There’s a disconnect down the line, I installed a new one!
@ Thank you for replying and adding the extra information man. Have a great day sir.
@ absolutely man, thanks for watching!! 🫡
