It may be a inside job with the banks. They have a camera watching you put the debit cards into the ATM, they can get your PIN number off the video tape. I always cover my card when putting in my PIN number no matter if I’m at the atm or pumping gas.
Skimming devices get the card number off the magnetic strip when swipping. Ebt cards don't have chips in the card. Then the skimming device listens for the tones for the numbers when punching in the pin

After that I had to rely on food stamps until I found another job . It may be a inside job with the banks. They have a camera watching you put the debit cards into the ATM, they can get your PIN number off the video tape. I always cover my card when putting in my PIN number no matter if I’m at the atm or pumping gas.

Skimming devices get the card number off the magnetic strip when swipping. Ebt cards don't have chips in the card. Then the skimming device listens for the tones for the numbers when punching in the pin

DHS needs to set up a app or way that the card can be turned on or off for withdrawals. It can't be that complicated, most banks have that set up if someone looses their card, the customer can shut the card down right away, then turn the card back on for use if the card is found...

The newest racket, or maybe not new at all, is the "home restaurants". They sell meals with food paid for with their food stamp benefits. Also their baby daddys are getting in on the action operating food trucks. Worked as a clerk in a grocery store and two guys would come in every day a get hundreds of dollars in ribs and premade salads and pull out several bridge cards to pay for it, none of which were theirs. One would be handing out "business cards" and soliciting for sale with a 10 percent discount. I quit, couldn't gut dealing with the low lives anymore.

If you can order things off Amazon with these same cards then you can definitely transfer cash just like pu can with a debit or credit card to another account and that would be considered a withdrawal. Now your asking why does it show a location of withdrawal if no one physically withdrew the money. That’s easy you can input that information into the system should you have access your the system like the technician would have or manager. Someone has to at some time be able to go into the system to fix issues that it has. 🤷🏾♂️ so yeah inside job.

They can open a real bank account and have the funds direct deposited. That's what they should do. But I also want to remind people even banks are seeing a higher amount of illegally transferred and stolen funds, due to mobile banking and being able to transfer funds from a phone.

Yup my account was hacked 2 weeks ago and someone deposited 6 different $500 checks in my account but bank caught it due to no signature signed on back of checks and the fact so many was deposited at same time....sameday there was 3 other ppl in line waiting to complain of theirs being hacked also

Why didn't the broadcaster highlight that, by encouraging card users to purchase RFID blockers. Its another level of security many people have no clue about.
