- EBT cards in Arizona and other parts of the U.S. have been used at a business in Phoenix, but the problem is, those cardholders have never visited the business. In some cases, they've never even been to Arizona. Now, people are asking questions, and the store owner says he, too, is a victim. FOX 10's Steve Nielsen reports.

The Ebt card must change like a bank card with you can scan, and I think the owners must picture ID and be responsible for getting pay by stolen cards that way they chek twice the card before they will take the payments. Who pay with an ebt card one item overb500?
What part of this doesn't make any sense if a lot of these people have never even been to Arizona and you need the card and the PIN to use it then how were people able to use it at an Arizona store if they've never even been to Arizona sounds like it's an inside job

How is it his fault people are stealing info and purchasing goods? He is working with the police they would love to close the case if he was guilty. The forensic team is much more equipped to find the fraudsters than either of us

Legal EBT card owners may need to change their PIN everyday or almost everyday, expecially near the time their EBT payment is about to be distributed.
To slow down these criminals from cleaning out all the benefits is to implement safeguards like can not spend more than $250 per day and a $500 weekly limit. States need to update their notification system so people can get notified in real time from a text notification if they authorized this transaction. If they reply no then the transaction is cancelled and doesn't go through. Also you can implement a optional fingerprint and face ID verification system for those who want the extra security but is not required. Time to up your game states as you are so far behind with the technology.

Definitely insider job at the state level. They can give a duplicate card to their friends and their friends or themselves use it at various stores. They also have the PIN info since they are state employees with access to database.

They scammed my card with 1,008 dollars and I have never visited that state of Arizona, we ask for action and that these abusers be condemned, I live in NYC and this is an ugly crime, they take away my children's food ⚡️🪑⚡️
