Out of everywhere I've worked, this was probably my favorite. It was really a great place with an awesome atmosphere.

I went down when they were gutting the place. They let me in to go around and see all that was left of it. It broke my heart.I'd seen Halloween parties with his kids and mother in attendance. I'd seen impromptu shows that he would give. Not telling anyone,he'd have the stage set up,and then just arrive, giving an awesome show. Whenever he was in town,he would go there to check on everything.
I remember having coffee with one of his chefs, outside on the Patio, and he came up to us to tell the chef something. He suddenly stopped and looked at both my arms, and said he liked my tattoos. They are of him.I drew them and had them done on my forearms. After that I did several pieces of artwork for him.
    He's an awesome guy.
I still roll over there to see how the new occupants made it look. It's going to be an Insurance company. It might even be open by now.

I went to the Cleveland Alice Cooperstown back in 2002. The restaurant had both sports and rock n roll memorabilia. A have a picture taken in the mini arcade in there with the old 70's Kiss pinball game. I also have one taken outside the building. Sadly the Cleveland location closed long before the Phoenix one did.

I would imagine Vincent Furnier didn't like the book 'Weird Scenes Inside The Canyon' by Dave McGowan.

Wow I think I ate there about a week before it closed! So many records, guitars, posters, and other memorabilia. I thought the food was good too.

So in the 2 1/2 years since this video was posted, has anyone figured out WHY they closed?
