I have no respect for people who don’t tip the delivery drivers well. If you can’t afford to tip well then just order for pick up and get it yourself.
You wouldn't have a car dumbasx
@@shabazalikhan520 not true! Many have cars
… not everyone has money to be throwing about to people who are already getting paid
@@trav1sedits_ it’s not throwing money. If you don’t have the common courtesy to tip for the service that you are getting then just go pick it up yourself. If you worked in such fields you would know that tipping is how people get by in those jobs.
@@m.ramos93 i don't have a car, this is why i order delivery.. most services are 30minutes away from me
Also stay away from fast food, it doesn’t pay. I focused on restaurants and now I hit 20 to 25 hour
What market are you in?
Amen to that! Ironically, the fast food restaurants are so slow! I will occasionally pick up a McDonald's order, if it's on my way back to my preferred area after a delivery. I avoid Taco Bell and Burger King like the plague. They're staffed with kids who are so slow and indifferent. Wendy's in my area is the worst - they only see the ticket once I arrive and bring it to their attention, then I'm the third priority after the drive thru and dining room customers. I complained to their manager once, then never accepted another order from them.
I only take fast food orders if the payout is at least 10 dollars and even then I'm pretty annoyed about it. Usually they'll offer them for like 3 or 4 dollars, tip included, which is bullshit. Don't take those.
I do the same, sit right in-between two locally owned indian restaurants, the more expensive the meal the higher change your tip will reflect it.
Yesterday I did a 4 order pick up from Popeyes (2 on UE 2 on DD). $38 for one pick up.
I noticed when using cold/hot bags. I am getting tripled the tips. The customer notices it and they love how they food stays warm and their ice creams/smoothies (ETC) are nice cold even though the weather is extremely hot.
Same here, I always take a pic with the food still in the bag...

I made 80 in 3 1/2 hours on a Monday that happened to be my first day lol.
I didn't go to the 1.3 surge area either. However, i have no quests on my app.
I went to the opposite part of where the 1.1 1.2 and 1.3 was at.
In 3 hrs I make average about 160$
My area had a 3x boost, quest, and surge. Made $1000 from Friday to Sunday
Does the boost works for Uber Eats too or just Rides?
@@GuilhermeSartorelli I just do Uber eats. I don’t know about rides
@@GuilhermeSartorelli no, the boots and surge just work for passengers...
Only the quests work for both UberEats and UberX. The surges and boosts (don't think we have these in my market) are totally separate between the two.
Where do you live? I want to move there lol. I live in a small town and the most I’ve made in a week is $380
Always use food bag!!! I don't see how this isn't your number 1 tip now I feel like I have more experience than this nice looking fellow. Always, always use a bag.. buy a few for doubles and triples. Just in case, even if the restaurant uses freshness stickers and their own large brown bag, put it in your bag anyway. It will 100% be appreciated by the consumer, and 100% it will reflect your tips.. when your dropping off at their house, they see you!! Their kids see you!! Everytime!! Look happy, use a bag, wave at the house.. I avg 50$ an hour.
What state you live?
Thanks!
I think the bag is a gimme. Who doesn't use a bag?
No way you can average 50 an hour doing this...proof?
Wa state, Spokane, meal hours always turn out okay. Even now still average 40+ an hour.
This was a great helpful video. My helpful hack is - I always leave a note along with a photo on the delivery app stating where the food was left, enjoy and have a great week or weekend. I’ve received bigger tips and this week received a $130 tip for just taking a min to leave a nice note( that made my week for sure lol). It helps!
I'd have a heart attack while driving if I saw a $130 tip lol.
Daymn where are you ubering? That's awesome!!
Thanks!!!! For sharing , Agree with you Be nice betwen us , is our best way of living 🙏
Yup you’re right!! I do that everytime and get over $6 tip
@@TheStranger513 lol rite u goin get too hype n have ppl honking at u
I find myself liking Uber a bit more. It seems a lot less restrictive
Definitely! Even though their Support’s accents are hard to understand, they’re very friendly, supporting, and understanding. I’ve never had any customers give me problems, but when restaurants give me problems they are quick to solve whatever problem it is.
A major problem on UE in my area is late at night most restaurants that are 24 hours have shut down early due to having no staff! $3 for spending 15 minutes with support to confirm the closure is not worth the time. UE will keep sending drivers for an hour! DD gives half pay and usually only takes a few minutes and the merchant will be marked as closed till the morning. DD also shows a map of drop-off locations in my zone. UE shows the text address of one drop-off only on stacked orders! Unless I'm making $25 an hour for a stacked order on UE, I always decline. JFC UE! DD has been showing drop-off locations on a map for freaking ever! Do better UE!
you find yourself on uber🤣🤣🤣, uber is the worst company to work💩💩💩💩💩
Yess so many pros 🙏🏽
@@alfo_o9752 which are your top 2 then?
Picture hack! Yes, this man knows!! It's basic psychology. You win hearts with a glimpse of the insulated shiner in the pic. 90% of ubereats drivers don't use bags in my city of Baltimore. It's a missed opportunity. I also use tape, sharpies and post a notes!
I recently started driving for UberEats and your videos have helped me TREMENDOUSLY. I've been crushing my daily and weekly goals! My why for driving? To keep my cats happy 😁 I like having the extra money to be able to buy them high quality food and treats (along with myself of course!) Thank you Mike for these valuable videos.
lol, I said something similar about my cats! 😹
Also say something when you take photo, have a great day/night, thanks for the directions. In one case the customer told me not to ring doorbell cause we have a new baby, I included "Congratulations on the new addition!!" Got a 10$ tip. Also it might seem like a pain, but I use the canned messages On the way, I've arrived
That sound like a very good tip, thank you
I've been doing the same with the note after photo. It's a nice touch. Also if a restaurant is running behind and I'm waiting longer than normal I message the customer to tell them their food is still being made fresh, be there ASAP. Makes for better tips.
I try to type something usually, but I'm wearing gloves and it's hard to type on the phone... I don't like typos! Good tip though.
@@barryjbrann Type a generic message somewhere on your phone and copy it. Afterwards, you would only have to press one or two buttons to paste it. At least that's how I do it.
I have a similar approach...
Start of delivery, I text something like,
"Good evening! I have your food from [Friendly's] keeping hot in an insulated bag, your ice cream in a cooler with ice packs, and I'm on my way. See you soon!"
I also keep them updated:
"Apologies for a slight delay. I was detoured due to road construction."
And when I arrive:
"I'm here with your order! I will leave it by your door in a moment, as you requested in your instructions. Have a great night!"
I do think you have to use common sense for personal messages such as the congrats mentioned. That one is definitely appropriate. I once got an extra $10 for responding," That's what she said!", when told, "Thanks dude, you're amazing!"...but this was a house full of drunk guys, and common sense told me it would work. Lol.
Overall, though, my tips almost always go up - I think mostly due to keeping everything hot /cold and being just the right amount of friendly!
Oh, my favorite - I got a tip raised from $10 to $30 for offering to pick up lobster crackers at a supermarket enroute when the customer asked the restaurant for them and they didn't have them for to go orders. :-)
Thank you for your tips. I'm new to the side hustle gig and appreciate the experience you share.
I feel like the best advice is to use the ‘why I drive’ feature. I started delivering and saving for my wedding this may. After putting that in the profile, I’ve received many extra tips, and even cash tips from people that put ‘leave at door’.
how do you get to the "why I drive" feature? I have checked google. and in the app and can't find that.
Bro you r a genius I recieved €10 tip today 6 orders bro hahahah than you for the quote!!
Same. I put “I drove full time Uber Eat. I love tips” and often I get tip increases.

Bro, I just started doing Uber eats 5 days ago. I just want to say thank you for all of your great advice with these vids. Very helpful 👍👍
I started last week..the tips help a ton
I learned those little 2 and 4 dollar orders are convenient in a big money area, especially with no traffic, after tips, I did 2 orders in under 20 minutes and made 17 dollars just off that 2 and 4 dollar estimated delivery, whenever I get those big money orders I’m driving like crazy and would take about an hour and more gas and miles on my car to make that money
My family member does the same and feels he makes more money doing the small orders. He sometimes gets a $10 tip for a $2 order or $4/$5 order turns into a $19 ir $20 us order with tips. ❤️🙏😊
You are the value King thanks again Mike!
I have never ever been rude to a customer or just rude in general but recently I did a pretty big order I made sure that they got their food warm and asap. I left them a note that said “Enjoy and have a great day!” and they tipped me 1cent! :( it really just depends on who you deliver for out here.
Can’t please everybody
Nalley Hernandez I’ve had this happen to me and, I got them their food ASAP you’re right it depends on the person….if they have no class they’re crappy tippers.
That type of people are the worst :( sorry that happened to you nena
You deliver for Trump's supporters
This is exactly what I’m looking for thank you!!
I like your bag idea and I've used it for a while.Thank you.
I appreciate you greatly for this video. I'm adjusting my profile as I watch. I did fill out my "why I'm driving" section a year ago, but I didn't think about using it to relate to customers. Brilliant. I just changed it and going to keep adjusting my profile according to these tips. Much appreciated 🙏🏿💯
Why do I drive? Because I can make a difference one delivery at a time! Not only say it but believe it guys! Customers will appreciate that positive vibe and in return will show you the quan:)
Profiled hack is may be the best thing I learned from this Chanel as a Uber eat driver, very useful. Those 15 20 dollars bigger orders have a better chance to get those extra tips. Easily 20 become 25 or 30 after 1 hour when u drop off the food. I even wrote down some funny comments after a order delivered just for hack those extra tips 😂😂😂😂
I love Uber eats best! The others I use as a fill when Uber is running slow.
My profile says “side hustling to pay off those student loans 😅”
Holy crap same here! 😂
Thanks for the tips bro makes a lot of sense
I had mentioned a week ago that I should buy a hot/cold bag or container for the food & my husband said I probably won't need one but after getting a lot of deliveries last week I now know I absolutely need one. I had to deliver ice cream one day & then italian ice the next & it made me nervous. Another day I had to deliver some kind of milkshake so I might need to find a sturdy bag for that too. I don't get that many deliveries but I only go out fridays & saturdays.
First night doing profile hack, 8 orders in 3 hours. All of them tipped! Incredible! Thank you!
How do I access my profile hack
Wish I could choose my Driver's on Ubereats
Thanks so much for that profile tip Bro!!!!
Thank you for confirming some of my suspicions
Yes I have and ever since 8 filled it out my orders and cash outs have went up I gotta do it in a bigger city keep ya updated I'm in Dothan AL salute
@GrungyDude thank you same to you
I had no idea . Wow . Thanks Mike
Wasn’t aware , but definitely going to fill it out.
Thank you for this. The issue I have is uber eats never even picks me to pick up orders. While not a booming metropolis, It’s certainly not a small town either. So I don’t know if the market is just flooded or what.
Do you drive near the restaurants in your area?
the profile hack is soo clutch! thank you
I did Uber Eats twice. I kind of gave up the second time after Customers were ordering from restaurants in Pittsburgh when they lived pass Cranberry without giving a tip. The first time I enjoyed it! I do more Uber/Lyft rides than Uber eats.
You don't have to accept it if you don't like it
Definitely invested in good bags. When I used my cambro go bag I always got good tips when those food were fresh and warm.
Thank you for the great tips 🔥👍
Cool
I like your doordash masks they are soft and don't smell when you put them on. :)
I do have my profile info filled out. I have been a driver for Uber Eats only for a few days now and my profile says "Saving up for my son's "forever" home. I've mad 4 deliveries so far since I do have a full time job with great pay. So far 2 out of 4 have tipped more :) These videos help Mike!
A lot of them aren’t actually getting the tips upped. I found out recently that when it says you’re waiting on like an “8 dollar tip” it ends up getting upped, Uber isn’t showing the full tip when you accept the order for some reason, a lot of people have found out about it
@@cassierose8654 i had a $16 payout one dy. but after i delivered the order the payout went down to $3 & some change smh
I just hit platinum and I feel like I don’t make as much money as I did when I first started. Recently some 3-4 hour days only made me $60. When I first started there were some 4 hour days I made $140 or even more.
I had no clue there was a driver profile section. Thank you!
Great info ‼️👍
Thanx for the info, love your apartment by the way!!
Im going to a month doing delivers. Im earning pretty good here in Houston. We usually have good promotions every weekend. As far as trips i have to basically accept all trips to complete quest for the weekend to get the bonus. Highest bonus last weekend was 305. I try and stay smart im low pays and mileage travel during the quest. I got promoted to gold 2 weeks ago but got bumped down days after for my declining record. 😒😂
I live at in Houston and I NEVER see quests anymore. When I first signed up like 4 months ago I did but not anymore and back then I didn’t have time to do them cause I had another job.
You gotta work nights for these! The times less ideal for driving are usually the best for pay, ie night(poor visibility, storms, rain, and snow.
It was hailing, I KILLED that night 💯
My largest tips come from people that live in urban areas and apartments but my smallest tips come from people that live in estates and suburban areas. I have no respect for them. If they think so little about people in the service industry for whatever reason they don’t deserve what we have to offer…Imagine looking down on people that YOU NEED due to YOUR laziness and entitlement… it’s insane….
same here
Same here. I stopped delivering to them
Yess!!
Agreed!!! Thought it was just me lol ..:maybe that’s why their rich 😅…:no but for real…stingy mofos…it takes everything in me not to key their bmw 😂😂or at least smash a McDonald’s bbq sauce on their windshield ….now that would be funny 😆
know any new updates about post-mates and possible changes or anything at all?
Door Dash maybe number one and tip before the delivery but I don't like being on a schedule...with Uber I can go online or offline anytime...very convenient for me cuz I live in the middle of a power strip so i can wait in my house for a pick up or use my own bathroom when I need to...
If you have an XL with Uber, turn off Uber eats and wait for trip radar to pop up. Then you can pick and choose without worrying about your acceptance rate. Since you don’t get as many XL rides you can do this when you are not trying to pick up passengers
Done both! Long before I saw this video lol
Hi Mike, definitely put info in profile. I actually put lost FT job due to COVID-19 last year & delivering to support family until find a new FT job. I believe this has definitely helped with tips. Isn't that a little extreme..giving a sad story like that to the customer in hopes of getting more tips?
@@onsenguy It’s not a sad story it’s a fact.
@@Matt-vg9hn I'm just saying it's probably best to not let the customer know you're struggling financially. It's a little awkward and cringy.

I live in Dallas Texas in between Fort Worth and Dallas. I’ve never seen a surge pay but that high of an amount. The highest I’ve seen is one dollar.
About 3 weeks ago I started sending the generic text "I'm on my way" upon pick up.1/2 of my customers respond kindly and about 1/4 of those orders bump the tip from the expected pay shown when I accept the order.
Yeah I always send a message when I am at restaurant and when I am on my way, people seem to appreciate it and well you are gonna get those that don't respond and that is ok, it's the thought on your part that counts!
Love this video definitely put me on 🎮
My profile says “Your satisfaction is what I do it for”😭😂

I'm an Uber driver been for about 3 months and I really appreciate what you do answering questions it might be a slow process but I really appreciate it tonight I just got an order for a the total amount trip tip and everything $14 going 26 miles and it said location is an unknown Street what does that mean to me it means a very very serious dangerous setup let me know you're here thought sir thank you so much
I have filled it out, and put my favorite foods. But I just changed why I am delivering to this: Saving towards moving out/getting married.=) Thx for the tips.
I also take the photo of food w/my hot/cold bag and have also added a delivery time.
I try to keep personal money motivations out of my profile and try and go for something emotional or funny. For example my profile says: "Delivering is a way I can help people feel safer" because a ton of people are ordering through UE for that reason, and it aligns with THEIR own motivations.
Me 2
Uber eats needs to pay more
I added a caption to my profile today and got a $54 tip! Thanks
Great information ❤
thinks for the tips bro
Thanks
Glad to help!
Just got a tip this past weekend because the customer liked my profile message!!!😀
Uber Eats killed it here in South Beach, Florida. They lowered the base pay to 2.00 them you have to wait 1 hour for the tip to kick in and to get something over 5.00 you have to decline like 10 orders, Uber Eats it's not really worth it any more here in Sobe.
Phoenix is the same
ikr it sucks.. here in ohio
Orlando the same…..
Unless we all get together at the same time and tell Uber we're not delivering s*** till we get more money, and stick together, it's not going to change
Nice video lol on my Uber profile I talk about how I’m going back to school which people have pointed out to me which is cool and I know it helps my tips but my market here in boardman Ohio Uber don’t get a lot of orders or any surge or bonus pay at all for food deliveries ride share they do but I don’t do those just food delivers some people don’t care for my marijuana cologne 😂😂 Uber eats for me just is random long orders like 12 miles 20$ once a couple hrs other than that it don’t go off at all 🤔 I believe Uber eats is a more high-end clientele
but door dash is always 🎰🎰 💰💵
Hey being in Pittsburgh do you Dash in cranberry I wanna try that area out it’s not that far from me there or Hermitage Sharon area
I bought two of The Uber eats bags when they offered them when the artist design them and I get tons of comments they are the best bags ever and it was only $20 a piece I also have a just a generic Pizza bag and when I take the pizza out and deliver it steaming hot
UE is the only service I'm able to deliver on, as I'm wait listed on all the others. I'm in the north NJ greater nyc market, very busy, can be lucrative but I've never seen any boost greater than 1.5x unless it's middle of the night, I'm jealous. Thanks for the tips! Great value as always
1.6 boost is the largest I've seen here in No. Los Angeles County, CA, but there was a good quest promo last week
@@RetireEatsDelivers amazing quests last week.
After moving to Nashville and driving for a few weeks I still have not seen any promotions, boosts, quest etc. on the app. Has this happen to anyone else or is it something specific to me?

Awww man, I have noticed that after 5 minutes driving into a surge area, that area will clear completely, then another area Pops up down the road within minutes, so then I drive to the new surge area. Again, after 5 minutes the surge completely goes away. I took multiple screens shots showing this happening one day. I have also noticed that in the area I drive for, I have yet to see a promotion even be placed in the promotion area. I have been driving since June. I'm thinking it just might be my area (Little Rock) . I do appreciate you sharing this though. 😀
Yes! Im in the LR area as well and the surge areas always go away when I get to them. I dont understand.
Exactly the same with Door Dash…It likely doesn’t have anything to do with it actually being busy necessarily, but they may be understaffed in that area… Someone canceled the shift… Didn’t show up… Or with Uber eats not enough people logged in… They tell you it’s busy and everyone rushes over there… Then it becomes oversaturated so the region goes dark.
Where do you find the busy zones? I just started last week and am still learning. I live in Lubbock TX
When you press go it’ll be lit up orange
Philly Ubereats don't get 3.0 boost highest for this week is 2.6 but that's around Roxborough Ardmore, upper Darby areas. If you can drive down to Philly someday to do a video for us here on the Ubereats for us philly Ubereats drivers that would be appreciated
There is one restaurant in my area that is always busy with Uber eats but what I can’t understand is I could be in the area and I don’t get a notification but then I would get one and the person had ordered it 45 mins ago and I am sure it was sitting in the restaurant getting cold. Then when I deliver it, it makes me look bad because it took a hour.
I’m doing Uber eats now have a $14 order waiting a long time for a Starbucks order . Just killing my momentum. Gotta be patient waiting

WHEN IT COMES TO REACTIVATION
Been doing UberEATS off and on since 2019. My area doesn't seem to have surge and quest promos. I have only seen the boosts and highest I have seen ever is 1.6x, I don't even know what that means... Is that .60 more? How do I know what is good or not? I just always assumed that wasn't much and didn't worry about boost areas
Hello! I see that Uber only pays around .50 cents per mile on longer trips here in the Tampa Florida area. Do you have a maximum limit on trips that you accept as far as the distance of the trip.
I'm looking at getting some vistas print business cards done and put them with orders. I feel that might be a nice added touch to the service to increase tips.
Where do I see the surges pays and boost?
How do u get paid on ubereats like are tips separate from uber pay then when your done for the day it all adds up for the total payout juss a little confused 1st day.

@Ronald, that's insane! How many hours did you work.
I started driving in November and I’ve worked up to a Diamond and I also live next to a mall and right in the middle of downtown I also get large tips on my orders , but my orders have slowed down significantly. I used to get Walmart order but no more since Christmas. I get one order per Every hour and a half equal in five dollars what do you suggest I do I have called corporate several times asking them if my app is messed up or just what is wrong I’ve downloaded the current app I’ve forced shut down and I still get one order every one and a half hours
