I love so many of Mac's songs, he is one of my many favourite country singers, but nobody beats Ray Griff singing this, Ray is also the writer of it, and to my knowledge had it out first.
One of my favorite singers. Saw him first at WRVA Old Dominion Barndance, Richmond, VA, back in the '50s. Loved his tenor voice and his unique phrasing of a song. He and Merle did a set of songs before each passed. A treasured CD. RIP Mac.
