  • This repair was performed on a Ford Courier. However, it is universal for a lot of different 4x4's including older style Hiluxs, Land Cruisers, Patrols, Tritons, Navaras, Dmaxs, Rodeos, Colorados, Rangers, and many more.

      I got them from repco the night I fitted them sorry mate, don't know the exact type or brand but I believe they were roughly 70$ for a set.

      I have the same ute and want to do the bearings tomorrow but whenever I search the Repco site it comes up with a bunch of different variants that say they fit the vehicle.I am probably best to go in store and see the..

    Great video, wish it was out when I had to do my wheel bearings. Did you measure the pre-load on the outer bearing?

      I preloaded it but I did not measure, I just do it by feel make sure it seats nicely. It's harder without the threaded cv to torque the preload but I've never had a problem doing it the way I did it.

      @@Finndawg Thanks mate, I took note of where the 8mm retaining bolts were on the locking ring and went by feel to match the tightness of when it came off with the bolts in the same spot. So far so good.
