Styx is such an awesome band. Seen them 3 times and they're tight live.

This song has a solid groove. Talented musicians. As a band they can go in a lot of different directions.. ballads, rockers, progressive, symphonic, ..

Saw Styx a couple of times in the late 70's and early 80's; they didn't disappoint. Great song catalog but a great live band too. also.

Midnight Ride, Put Me On, Shooz, Grand Illusion, Come Sail Away, Fooling yourself, Miss America, Blue Collar Man, Rockin' The Paradise, Too Much Time on My Hands, Snowblind, Half-penny Two-penny, Heavy Metal Poisoning, Show Me The Way, and many others. They were the first band to get four platinum albums in a row.

Styx -- Such a distinctive sound -- was all the rage in the day... but my fav was "The Grand Illusion"... so iconic...

Another great Tommy Shaw song! (showing my geekiness here) When this came out, I had to consult a dictionary (this was pre-internet and I was only 9) to learn what "a year on the lam" actually meant! What amazes me is that Tommy Shaw can't read music - all done by ear. Really enjoyed this reaction. 🙂❤

Styx(the river Styx), is a legendary band, try Miss America for the fast beat, Man in a Wilderness is also good, Castle Walls one of my favorites as well.

I think you rob yourself of the joy of hearing a song for the first time by stopping it so many times comment. It just kills the mood and momentum.
