@@ryanmccarthy406 damn I think I might get a buzz tomorrow, I’m at Norwood 3 and it’s killing me man. I spoke to my girlfriend and she said I can fix it with a transplant but I don’t want to be spending that much at 20 years old and it’s threw my confidence off towards getting a buzz cos she might not like it
@@Unk5454 transplants aren’t good at this age, only good when you’ve basically lost all the hair you’ll lose, because they’ll fill in the spots you lost, so if you keep losing hair there’s nothing you can do about the new balding
I was 25 when I shaved it off. I'm 44 now. Never looked back. After a while you realise how liberating it feels. Never see a hair transplant or a wig that doesn't look terrible. Comb overs are just as bad. I know it's hard but please just embrace it. ❤
Found this channel a couple weeks ago and I am so glad I did. I am 28 and have been losing my hair since I was 21. I have been hiding it for years with taking time to fix my hair a certain way and even using kerafiber on certain important events. This led me to have some serious anxiety at times going places knowing that I am hiding a whole bald spot on the verge on shaving it all not to deal with it anymore but just afraid at the shock it will have on people that don't even realize I am balding. So ready to advance my life and accept it but so scared for the reaction and to feel like I will just be ugly or something. This channel is growing the courage inside of me. Thanks man, one day.
It’s definitely the case that you get more confidence when you finally shave your head, and actually respect from others cos they realise you’ve got the balls to do it instead of trying to hide it.
Personally if I was him I'd keep it cut short but not shaved. It depends on your age, your face shape and the stage of balding you are at. If you are younger with early stage balding I'd keep it cut short it's when it get's to that level and it will get there when you are probably better off shaving it. Point is , if you are tall, handsome, young, a personality and life going for you going bald is probably not that big of a deal. In some men shorter hair brings out their face more if they are good looking.
@@noahhenderson3164 yeah exactly It's easy to tell someone "just shave it bro" when they themselves look great bald I am not ugly by any means but I am short and egg shaped My muscles made up for my height and my hair masked my egg shaped head Accepting is also winning but some of us will be more affected by balding and not just mentally

I’ve been watching you for a while and You have great energy! I’ve gotta say it’s refreshing to see a channel that gives men suffering from a very common problem a platform where we don’t feel alone. I’ve agreed with a lot of things you’ve said in many different videos, however I’ve noticed this somewhat condescending overly optimistic bias when it comes to responding to men expressing their resent for their hairloss. I think a good way to look at this is like dominos, let’s say the dominos are arranged differently for everyone and each domino represents a different factor within each mans situation. And let’s say that going bald is like pushing one domino. For some men that domino is gonna do nothing, and for others that domino might knock down the whole set, it all depends on the arrangement of factors. For me that set took a while to build backup as it was organised for the balding domino to completely collapse it. When I had hair I was good looking and had a good social life, when I went bald in early 20s, the way my frame, head shape, and face is, I wasn’t made at all to look good bald at ALL. At the time it started going it was a long time of hard traumatic emotional suffering, loosing my identity. I now shave my head and don’t let it negatively affect my life. I am optimistic and use my young drive to grind and focus as an aspiring entrepreneur and continue to learn and educate myself. I understand that you shouldn’t worry about what other people think about you and not let it change what you think about yourself but this very ignorantly misses the point. I don’t struggle to look in the mirror anymore but I miss the days where I could and feel good about myself. My identity has never been the same since, I don’t feel good about myself I merely just accept it. But what I see being missed is how for many men hair is practical. It’s needed. Whether you just want to say you don’t care about what other people think or not we are social animals and how people perceive you effects your social domain of life shockingly. As for my social life it’s turned around 180, I’ve noticed other guys my age give me less respect, I now STRUGGLE with women, before it was easy to get them to notice me now I get ignored and I feel that ever since I’ve gone bald women generally have seemed to have a personality change as if theyre no longer interested in what I have to say. And no I don’t act any different, and no I’m not just trying to put the blame on balding what I’m telling you is just facts, I try to live positively and try not to let the radical impact of going bald on my social and dating life get to me and focus on myself. But the point is for guys like me at least, having hair is practical. It’s not just about how you feel about your self. It’s objectively and factually changed my social life for the worst. If I had your head shape and face I wouldn’t even think twice about it, but everyone’s set of dominos is different. I don’t understand why men worrying about hair loss and stressing about it is so taboo. Its ridiculous. Imagine a world where women didn’t have make up and they got made fun of for being ugly and had to resort to RUclips channels to come together and accept it. If a man can shave his hair off and have it not effect him, good great for him, I encourage it. But in some cases it’s not as simple as “just shave your hair off bro and accept it”. I’m saving up for a hair transplant as I want an enjoyable social life again. Very oddly wasn’t a problem when I had hair and I acted no different. Just a fact. Just the way life is so stop having this overly optimistic bias because because for some men there’s more than a couple of dominos that are knocked over by baldness.
Sturdy The egg I care to a certain extent what people think but I want my hair for me. It doesn’t matter if people think I look fine without it(I don’t). What I want matters. So many people don’t even try to fight it and just give up. Personally I’m not accepting anything but exactly what I want because I can’t. This is actively destroying my life. I tried shaving my head once and let me tell you, it isn’t an option. This guys attitude makes me sick sometimes. I watched a video where he legit asks “why is it so embarrassing to be bald” or some such nonsense. The answer simply is: people look better with hair.
The question is, do you really want people that treat you differently because of you´re bald in your life? Are you looking for true friends/girlfriend or fake people? There must be many other qualities that they can admire on you. Of course look is a factor, but you can improve your body, hit the gym do some sports, whatever you like. They can be attracted to your body and the hard work behind it. If not having hollywood face and full head of hair is a dealbreaker so be it. Of course people with beautiful faces get more attention in general. I mean more fake attention. Do you want to be surrounded by people who admire you for who you are or just for your look? You said that you lost your indentity, so your identity depends on your hair? Come on... There are many people with great faces but having bad physique. Physique is also big part of he attractiveness, the part you can change!!! I am more attract to people who take care of themself and not relying just on pretty face. I admire their hard work. You mentioned that you keep learning and educating yourself, which is great. Please try to focus more on things you can change instead of hairtranplants. And if so, do it for YOURSELF! But i think you just want other people react the same way as they reacted when you had hair. You don´t need these people in your life. If bald head can buy you one true friend or girlfriend, that appreciate your personality, physique, education... everthing you achieved by hard work, you would trade it for 100 fake friends/girlfriends that wouldn´t treat you well if you were bald?
This channel is far more than "Just shave it off and you will be fine" For some it's enough for others it isn't. This channel is here to promote a very effective way of dealing with and moving past hair loss. If you have tried this route and feel like it isn for you and that you want to get a hair transplant then absolutely go and do it there is nothing wrong with that. If that makes you happy then I am all for it 👍
Baldcafe I’m sorry for being an ass but I’m absolutely sick of people especially doctors who don’t treat this as a serious problem. The first dermatologist I went to, when I asked about my hairline she said with a bit of a smirk “if it bothers you so much use some rogain.” I dropped her and moved on to a different doctor who also said to try rogain(in a serious manner) which I did, it didn’t do anything but make my scalp itch and uncomfortable. If rogain didn’t do anything, other “treatments” probably won’t do much. But I see way more people giving up online than there are people fighting it. The more I see about how absolutely very little progress “scientists” are making I get angrier and angrier. No man woman or child should ever have to deal with something like this.
Jakub Kozak looks are hardwired biologically for people to find attractive, and humans run off emotions. Is a woman to blame for not going against her primal emotions just to pick a guy she finds unattractive just for the sake of finding a spark when she could find the same spark and have the physical attraction with another guy just for the sake of it? You talk about the importance of physique. Yes it’s attractive for the same reason a face is. It doesn’t make them fake it just makes them human. You see there’s something called hypergamy (look it up) which is hardwired into women, and there is a natural dominance hierarchy in men and the lower you are the less social advantage you have, thus the less doors open within the social domain. I have very close friends and no they don’t judge. But surviving in the world is brutal, it doesn’t cater to this emotionally comfortable fairytale where “you find the right one”. Look at apes... the alphas rip the testicles off the betas so they don’t reproduce. That right there is mammalian nature. Let’s be realistic. How many ugly girls have you crushed on in your life?
I am 18, 12th grade, balding and I've reached the point where I can't cover it up anymore, I think my friends notice but they say nothing in fear of hurting my feelings I've cut it off a couple of times as a casual looke and to get used to the inevitable but I noticed classmates laughing and things like that I even had some kinda relationship with a girl but after the cut I was so afraid of rejection that I told her that I was not interested😥 my self esteem is at an all time low😫 sharing this made me feel really good if you've read this long THANK YOU you cared.
Go to gym be healthy and it will replace it trust me I did it it worked I feel happy, and I would choose to maintain my gains and health before the hair trust me

I’m 20 and I’m starting to lose some hair, (not much but i really don’t like this thing), and now I decided to shave my entire head and I really like it. It’s strange, but also cool. I'm 28 and I shaved it for the first time all the way down like him. Wish it looked like it does on him. It doesn't. Actually the worst I;ve done in my life. So I can say with certainty, There are in fact guys short hair or bald doesn't suit them AT ALL... I sadly have no beard going or a good facial shape going. It looks extremely out of place and my ears look huge like dumbo now. Even my mom was shocked and said, no screamed "NOO, go back to hair.. why have you done this?!?"... wow, miserable feeling. When even your mom says it looks extremely ugly.
okay, with those stunning features you can look handsome even with a poop on your head he looks amazing but most important feels amazing and has more confidence!
Many of the guys who appear on your video have baldness in there family so have some idea that it may happen to them. I however had NO idea and used to feel sorry for my pals who had bald dads, knowing that they would go the same way to. I used to feel so relieved that my dad had a really thick head of hair along with all my uncles and cousins. Anyway, fast forward a few years and the unthinkable happened. The fact that NO ONE in my extended family are bald made things way way more difficult as these guys can be pretty brutal and have no understanding of the situation. The first time I had to see them all after going bald was incredibly nerve wracking and the whole balding experience felt far worse than if one of them had been bald as well. My dad still has a thick head of hair and he is in his 70s!! Anyway, dealt with it now and very, very happy and not for one minute did I ever think that would be possible, not for one second! So for any guy feeling shit about it, you are not alone and life gets better once you deal with it, MUCH better!
Same situation My family has God hair genes Having full heads of hair in their 70s and 80s There are only some 2 bald brothers my grandmother has but even they lost their hair much later in their life And then there is me at 21 a Norwood 3 I inherited their amazing hair but it refuses to remain of my head But i am not giving up now even through I am thining and receding really fast (I hope I have telogen effuvium as well because if I don't then I am really agreessively balding) Glad it worked out for you though I myself will try to stop it
@@alastairmackay4861 well honestly balding itself may have already fucked me up really hard, I used to be at peak performance sexually in the gym and had peak satisfaction then at one point my cat died then my second cat was on the verge of dying and 2 weeks after this I noticed excessive shedding (I was already receded due to slow balding) since then I am not the same / low libido, trouble maintaining an erection, forgetfulness, fatigue and loss of motivation I was also incredibly depressed for a few months. And I haven't really felt relaxed since then. @@SebyMiner honestly, could any of these feelings be put down to the drugs you are taking? It can’t just be the baldness, I don’t know you but I know you have more going for you than hair. His enthusiasm is what makes me smile
Hey baldcafe. Im 27 and noticed I was receding about 2 years ago. Ever since, Ive been taking a photo every 2 months to see its progression and it hasnt gotten worse since I noticed. Im glad Ive found your channel, if it gets really bad Im going to shave it off and just accept it for what it is. It's great to have a support channel like this in a world where going bald is made fun of. Cheers mate, keep up the good work. 👍👍
He looks great! Love your vids man. Everyone in my family is bald, I am 21 with no sign of balding at all right now but i know it will happen. Your channel is really helping me to understand that, whenever it happens, it’s no big deal at all
Really helped me guys I started receding when I was 12 and by 18 or 19 I had a full McDonald’s M and it was so thin didn’t have the confidence to chat to girls or even leave the house without a hat but I shaved it all off recently and feel like a new man you guys have really helped me deal with my poor hair genetics much love
Sean Moore-Milne same here man, started balding aged 14, wore a beanie hat all throughout high school, my confidence was rock bottom. Was embarrassed to speak to other girls and people used to call me grandad. If you wanna email me and chat about baldness, the email is ac27@gmail.com
I was the same mate. And shaving it completely changed my life for the better
I thought that was logic for a second
Looks a lot like him right.
It's the glasses and hairline

Lmao!!!! The moment I clicked on this video, I told myself “is that logic?” The. I came to this comment haha the resemblance

Dude looks so much better! Baldcafe 100k 2020! Loving the podcast harry!
These types of videos make me feel so much better about losing my hair
Here for it 👍
Dude you look great - young and handsome - you have ALOT going for you.
Man at 11:10 that buzz looked amazing! Damn brother that is insanely good. Imo I don’t think you needed to go bare bald. That buzz was immense & could of easily of been maintained
Awesome, just watched it all.
Fair play to him!
Ive been bald now for 6yrs, I had confidence issues at 1st, What the opposite sex thought of a bald man etc etc.. But I just thought get a grip lad, you do you & be proud of how you look.
I love my bald head now, I even get "Your face really suits a bald head".
So if you are still unsure, I say go for it! Bald is beautiful. 👌
Dude, this guy look so good, even without his beard
I've been watching your videos for the last few days and it gave me the will to finally decide to go bald.
I'm 31 and for the last five years i was thinking about going for a transplant or going bald. Decided to shave it the next week.
Thanks.
Brilliant stuff man. A strong decision! Go all out with it and move past hair!
Just went bald about 30 minutes ago after watching this video at the age of 20. Thank you for your videos.
👑 👏
How is it
@@Unk5454 I feel a lot more confident, I tend to be more noticed by women too, (as long as your confident with it)
@@ryanmccarthy406 damn I think I might get a buzz tomorrow, I’m at Norwood 3 and it’s killing me man.
Had my kids shave my head last night! Tires of the hairline and thinning crown. Ready for the new me! Love the vids! Great inspiration!
Junior, family is always the best motivation. Good on ya !
Mate - loving your work - compassionate and empowering!!
Thank you! 🤝
this was sooo lovely and inspiring!!! i'm transmasculine and have lost my hair since transitioning. thank you for sharing :))
The bald + glasses looks great 👍
I love u bald cafe
Right back at you.
I struggled a lot. But today im totally happy with it ! 👍
It looks brilliant Ewout 👍🏼
🤝
Awhhh his mouth corners are so deep like a constant smile adorable glad he did it!
Thanks man, one day.
he looks great clean smile too
I'm 24 and started shaving after watching your vids. Thanks bro 👍🏼
It’s a pleasure man. Welcome to simplicity and a better life 👍
Up there with my favourites (Lucas and Joshi are up there too)! great look mate!
He looks so good.
Woaaa he's so handsome!! One of the best ones
It’s definitely the case that you get more confidence when you finally shave your head, and actually respect from others cos they realise you’ve got the balls to do it instead of trying to hide it.
The buzz cut is such a good look on him wow I hope he keeps buzzing it and the length in the initial buzzing vid
I love how happy he is after shaving his head. Great job Harry!👍
The relief tbh
Thank you Baldcafe for your videos. you give me courage to do it as well.
Totally agree with you, short but not completely off. Looks great.
Egg shaped 🥚
Try being ugly and balding in your 20s lol. People say just "deal with it" try being in our shoes lol
@@noahhenderson3164 yeah exactly
It's easy to tell someone "just shave it bro" when they themselves look great bald
I am not ugly by any means but I am short and egg shaped
My muscles made up for my height and my hair masked my egg shaped head
Accepting is also winning but some of us will be more affected by balding and not just mentally
Man you look amazing and you have a very sweet smile :)
I just shaved my head yesterday. I am 23 and it was receding so fast and had this island of hair up front. for years I was so upset with it and continued to wear hats. Im happy I did it. im ok with it
He looks so much better without hair its crazy, he looks like a different person. He looks much better without the beard too
I am also going to do this thing... Thanks for motivating us man... Much more love from me..
Dude, I started balding when I become 17. Imagine the pain what I have gone through. Now I am 20 and I am full bald and girls in my age think I am 30. So, yeah fuck this world
how you finding it 10 months later mate?
😂 im laughing bc I can relate 😂😂😂
Shit happened to me 17 as well I’m 20 rn turning 21 next week , imma prob just chop it off, been wearing my durag for almost 4 years just tryna hide my scalp smh

@@theelichannel3731 I know it's only 2 weeks but how have you been holding up. Losing hair at such a young age is so difficult.
I have diffuse thinning and was sick of trying to cover it up so I buzzed my head today with a 1 and I'm not scared of balding anymore and wish I had done this sooner. I encourage all who are on the fence to just shave it, balding is the worst look and being bald is far better. Now I'm actually looking forward to going bald and completely shaving my head!
Same here, my hair has been thinning for maybe 6-7 years but hasn’t really gone worse. So I thought, ”maybe I can get away with it…” but now at 35 I did a buzzcut 3 mm , got sick of being paranoid about trying to cover up my bald spots. I may look like a grandpa now but I’m trying to embrace being an old man, I don’t wanna waste my whole life worrying about ageing and have fun instead
@@ShmynkellbonkensteinWhy would you look like a grandpa? Buzzing won't make you look like a grandpa unless you're like Norwood 6, at which point you're much better off just shaving completely.
I buzzed my head couple days ago and you videos have helped me alot so thank you Harry 🙏.I really wanted to do a vid with you to upload to your channel.thr compliments I'm getting is ridiculous and I have a strong jawline that I never saw until now.all the best for the future Harry and stay safe my friend 💪

Well done mate looks awesome!!! And can't wipe that smile off your face!!!
Go to gym be healthy and it will replace it trust me I did it it worked I feel happy, and I would choose to maintain my gains and health before the hair trust me
People who laugh at you for losing your hair are most likely highly insecure because it’s such a childish thing to do, don’t let small people mess with your mind bro

He looks great!
okay, with those stunning features you can look handsome even with a poop on your head
he looks amazing but most important feels amazing and has more confidence!
Same situation
My family has God hair genes
Having full heads of hair in their 70s and 80s
There are only some 2 bald brothers my grandmother has but even they lost their hair much later in their life
And then there is me at 21 a Norwood 3
I inherited their amazing hair but it refuses to remain of my head
But i am not giving up now even through I am thining and receding really fast (I hope I have telogen effuvium as well because if I don't then I am really agreessively balding)
Glad it worked out for you though I myself will try to stop it
@@SebyMiner just be careful that whatever you take does not have side effects worse than going bald 👍
I am indeed scared of sides even through I've researched fin a lot and have a pretty fleshed out plan to avoid sides
However fin not managing to stop my now aggravated male pattern baldness scares me more than getting sidss
@@SebyMiner honestly, could any of these feelings be put down to the drugs you are taking? It can’t just be the baldness, I don’t know you but I know you have more going for you than hair. I think the trouble these days is we have too much time to worry about frivolous things. In the old days, the focus was survival, who gives a fuck about hair when you have to focus on that! But now we have too much time to worry and waste time comparing ourselves to aresholes on Instagram. Best advice I could give you is, ditch social media and stop worrying about what others think.
Oh yes, another one
