im actually crying.. i experience such deep connection and love with every person in the video.. just such a deep respect because i know how much pain comes with sa.. and to see so many courageous people... how nice to know ur not alone.
I used to suffer from social phobia all throughout my teenage years (I'm 21), but not anymore, thank fuck. But had I seen something like this back then, I'm sure it would have made my day, or maybe week even. Great work by uploader and everyone participating. You all just keep fighting. And if you do have friends, tell them about it, and spend as much time with them as you possibly can.

I just saw my part at 0.42. I´m Susan from Germany. I´m 21 years old now. Back then I was 15/16 probably. So I overcame a lot till then. I wanted to kill myself so badly back then. I just want to give you the message I´m much more confident and happy now don´t ever give up. IT GETS BETTER!
About 2 months ago i figured out i have social anxiety...i use to think to myself what the h*ells wrong with me...after 15 years i figured out that there was a term for what i was going through after searching the net.....you guys are all amazing people good job on doing this
I took part in this video and I watch it every week to remnd me of the all the ppl who are going through the same pains as me and it helps me to get through my difficult days ..it still has a powerful and meaningfull effect on me..i'm sure other people will feeel the same.

I am Terri & I have social anxiety, depression PTSD I am from Canada & it runs my life I wish it would go away I miss out on allot of fun . I used throw parties have lots of friends over lots of musicians ,sing dance 💃laugh eat good food . It’s feels like everyone has moved on & I am left which a mirror fraction of the life I once has.❤❤❤😢😢😢

SAD is horrible.. had it ever since I can remember..22 now, was put on lexapro in 9th grade, it did NOT help with SAD but instead made me feel like a robot w/ no feelings! I am now weaning off of Lexapro and actually feel human again..This time I'm going to get help from a doctor...NOT medicine. No doctor will ever put me on meds again for this...
Just recently reached out for help. I found this video very touching. More people need to be made aware of SAD. Many people are still living with it thinking they are alone.

I've had extreme social anxiety back when I was 4 years old. I am here today, age 18, still with social anxiety. However, I have changed myself a lot since then, and am able to look at people's faces, start a small conversation, and try to have fun.
this really dispels some myths. There are many young and very attractive people here. I am so blessed that you all were brave enough to do this. It really is encouraging!
Thanks for posting the video!I'm really amazed to see that there are so many people like me.It certainly makes me feel that i'm not alone.But surprisingly many of them were LOOKING confident but are ACTUALLY not.I realize that simply looking at a person and judging him is very wrong.

Nice video. I HAD social anxiety and that time i worked as a social worker. At the moment not any more. Part of the social anxiety was focussed on my colleagues. But also in other parts of my life. It was making me lonely. I felt like a stranger on a different planet. Now. with lots of therapy i am social anxiety free. You all can do it. Now i am working hard to become a consultant and writting a book regarding a communication skill. Hope to have it published this year. No fear. Live is great.

I know its scary to ask for help and it was for me when i did, One thing you should know is that its not a lifelong illness and it can be treated and one day you will be free of it. I hope you make that frist step by asking for help and im glad you like the qoute it took me ages to think of them :)
I am 32 and have social anxiety disorder, panic disorder and depression. I was first diagnosed in 2000 and it has gotten worse since but I am here to tell you dont ever give up. I wrote a book and dedicated it to those that suffer with these illnesses.

I"m Debby form Ohio. I've had Social Anxiety my whole life, but only learned it had a name a few years ago. Just knowing others suffer from it has done wonders for overcoming it. I don't feel so alone anymore at least.
