Sorry, I had to re-upload. Premiere Pro was acting up with too many nested sequences and I didn't realize it just sliced off the tail. Got it fixed by not using a nested sequence for that part...
Incredibly helpful for beginners, seeing it all slowed down. Just got a fight stick so I'll be using this video to do reps with while I get used to the feel of it.
Just a side note: in case you play Street Fighter, in SFIII, IV and V you can do a DP via a 33 input. This means you can perform DP even when crouching by 323 or 313. (Not sure about SF6 because I don't have the game.)
Very informative video for beginners, wish I saw this while I was learning a couple months back(I basically learned from scratch and still struggle with IAD) I’ll show this to my friends who plan on learning stick
623's symbol is ridiculous. On a fight stick you are not making a Z, you're making a claw in the bottom corner. It's 6523, since you can't just go from 6 to 2. On a d-pad you can and those are the inputs being registered but that's not the motion. Why does SF give the DP input symbol an arrow when you aren't following the arrows path. It's misleading and much more intuitive if it had a claw symbol or some new quarter circle arrow instead. It just isn't a Z.
These videos are always cool and informative, thanks! Do you think you could do a quick showcase of your dash/IAD inputs some time? Those are the ones I struggle with the most, mainly when facing left
I have IAD in a Twitter video. Don't feel like uploading another random clip here so here you go: twitter.com/yxiao1988/status/1466676879700619270?s=20
You ever see the star inputs? Playing Super Dragon Ball Z the other day and I had to lab that for a good hour before figuring out that double circles are acceptable .
Quesiton what are you using as your gamepad, or part of the joystick and buttons? The soudn of the clic so clear and seem to be soooooo much on the point, mine sound like a wet noodle. ?
Do you have any tips for qcb? I usually have my thumb on the right side of the ball whrn im pushing it left but it seems like you pull it w your middle finger and thumb?!
Yes I mostly only use the last segment of my middle finger and my thumb. These are for references: ruclips.net/video/2N9Y1jsNcBQ/видео.html ruclips.net/video/orYjvo7986U/видео.html ruclips.net/video/vxhDk2HIBUo/видео.html
Do you have advic on doing those qc inputs to the left in things like supers? I feel like I can get them consistently on the right but to the left it gets awkward and i feel like my hand just desyncs lol.
No particular advice other than practicing and adjusting. Find the character whose moves annoy you the most and conquer it. I actually find it easier to do it to the left hah.
Is This is the Qanba Q1/Carbon ? How are your switches so loud, did you upgrade the pcb? Is your stick completely stock and are you using a standard box gate? A lot of questions I know lol but I have this stick and it sounds nothing like this so I was curious
ive been playing dbfz and i constantly see myself lacking with my xbox controller , always drop combos, and i feel super slow , with my mechanical keyboard im super fast but its confusing me with all those buttons, and i was thinking of buying a stick like that, is it worth it? cause everyone uses them on fighting games
Keyboard is definitely a viable controller. If you have the money you can get a cheap stick for a try. They tend to last long too so they could be worth it down the years.

The music choice combined with the sound of clicking coming from the stick's switches made me use this video as ASMR, tutorials like this are the best
i was having hard time with dragon punch and this helped me understand! thanks a lot.

Been playing fighting games for years and still found this video informative.
bro I love you I tired to do dp the hard way for so long but that 2nd shortcut is a godsend
This will definitely help me with my practicing with the stick. The songs made me feel nostalgic as well, I need to play trails again...
finally seeing the hands of god

Either way the work here is amazing, keep up bro o/

Cool video! Now make one for D-pad
I don't have one...
i was just joking bruh
OMG that how to make the Z on arcade stick, tks so much bro 😍

The ranbu of Piccolo Daimao?
@@YXiao Yes sir! That's the one
For the longest time I thought that quarter circles had to be performed returning to neutral after every input (a.k.a. 653525 or 451525)
very useful! thanks a lot
This video was great. sadly I can’t do the dragon punch! I have tried so many different ways and it just doesn’t come out. But again very nice vid.
Desk alternative
Could you do one for iADs (Instant air dashes) from both the left and the right? I have a lot of trouble with those on stick.
I don't feel like posting another video for that. Here: twitter.com/yxiao1988/status/1466676879700619270?s=20

Hmm it's the same old Q1 as when it was bought. The only thing I changed was the chip inside. For recording I was just using some logitech webcam.
So the Legends are true, you have human hands, no robotics
I did have a few older videos showing my hands

Ik im asking more questions, apologies lol
Yes I mostly only use the last segment of my middle finger and my thumb.

It's a Qanba Q1 indeed. I didn't change any part other than the chip. It's a square gate.
Ah Must be the mic amplifying the switches then. Thanks for the reply and vids, both were helpful ~
Trails of cold steel OST ? haaha nice!
Ho for zangieff CA what inputs ? Pls
I would never even consider doing motions like this, that's y I never could learn pad, some of this actually looks easier
hello, this shortcuts can be used in a Horii Fighting commander?
The necessary inputs do not change depending on your controller. Yes, they all apply regardless of what you use.
how i can do a tk dp? also nice vid :D
It's actually a bit game dependent. For example
in KOFXIII you can 62369.
in GGXrd it might be best to just do it raw via 96323.
@@YXiao got it thank you so much i Will try with nu in bbcf she can improve her combos if she can uses the supra rage like a tk
What type of this arcade stick 🙂?
Qanba Q1
@@YXiao thx 👍
The Z motion command is kinda difficult to do.

I wonder if you went with a mixbox
What kind of game pad is that?
Qanba Q1 stick
Square or octagonal ?
Square
Is this a square gate?
Yes.
@@YXiao sorry I didn’t read further into comments 😅
Square gate or octa gate?
Square
Trying to use a arcade stick is literally impossible
I think it's fun. Since learned I can either play with a stick or a keyboard. If you have the luxury of time to practice, give it a try.
