Hey dude!! Thanks man for the info. With your info I just went out and purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 (2020) 10.4 screen Tablet. It WORKS!!!!! The Tab A7 has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 (SM6115) processor. The Instruction Set is 64-bit ARMv8-A. (64bit processor/64 bit OS)

If your hardware is X64 than you have a chance to flash a ROM which uses x64 system too so it will work.

Instead of asking the viewers to list any phones that don't work, it would be more helpful to list the phones that work.
As in 64bit processor and 64bit OS that doesnt work. So far ive not seen anyone with 64bit OS that doesnt work (althought there are some hiccups/bugs on certain phone), but it still work as to compared with a 32bit OS that cant even install.

The Samsung A02s is a 64 bit but runs in 32. Won't work with DJI.
Im using 64bit poco x4.. but still i cant install the app....
Samsung Galaxy s6 tablet, LG G8 thinQ both will support the DJI fly app. LG has snapdragon 855 quad-core processor 6gb ram 64bit op. it's easy peasy no problem.

hi bro, as per checking, both are using 64bit CPU and has a 8gb ram so i think the OS is also a 64bit but just to be sure, you can ask the sales person to allow download the app on their display unit and check from there to 100% confirm it. Some same model has the same CPU but different OS bit.

Had this error on my Samsung Galaxy 7 edge with no reason code. I had plenty of space but i deleted photos to free up more space. After that it finally installed.

First, thanks for the specifics on this video! Most helpful I've seen on youtube on this topic. I have a Samsung Note 10 Lite (OS 64bit ARMv8-A) and successfully installed and run the Fly app. Does that mean my phone is compatible and i can confidently proceed with my purchase of the drone?
You're most welcome. Yes u are right, u can go into the app and take a look around even without the drone and see if it crash while u browse around. But do take note that occasionally there will be some random bug mostly for android users.

To simplify it your device needs to 1: run on a Snapdragon chipset 2: have arms 64 written in the architecture. DJI fly app will not work with mediatek chipset. Or Samsung's exynos chipset

Great information! I have a LENOVO Smart Tab 8 tablet that does not work with the DJI Fly App. I contacted the DJI Support about the issue and the tech said they would look into testing that tablet. It has a 64 bit system and operates on 64 bit. The problem is it will not connect to the Mavic Air 2..... DO NOT BUY LENOVO TABLETS !!

Battery for mavic mini is user friendly, no need to headache on maintenance and care :). I dont have much technical knowledge on batteries but do have experience using them. Will see what i can do to share :)

Sorry i can't help to answer that as i don't own realme6. Best is to consult the sales person, or ask for permission to install Aida64 and check directly

I have a 64-bit armv8-a but when i try to connect both app and dpi mini all i get is a yellow flashing light on my drone,i use a android 10
Yellow flashing could indicate a few other aircraft related stuff but not for the dji fly app. U can fly without the app too once u setup everything.

@@jackieconnell7183 try removing phone case and clean the phone port. If still unable, try replace the cable.... slow yellow only flashing indicate ATTI mode (no gps/vision sensor disable), fast yellow only flashing indicate the AC is not connected to the remote yet. If mix of yellow and other color, indicate other stuff.
Try this video and see if u have connectivity issue within AC & RC, or RC & Mobile device.

I have an Oppo Find X3 which DJI state as being compatible with Mini 2 drone but the controller will not recognise or connect with it on the DJI Fly app. It does recognise my old Iphone 5S though! Is there anything I can do to make it work with my OPPO phone?
Sounds like a cable issue, if it wasn't compatible, the dji fly app will not be able to install on that phone. Try this to determine if the Remote control has connectivity to the Aircraft or not. ruclips.net/video/sm2gQ15tj5U/видео.html

Installed dji fly latest ver on my Samsung 8+ with 64bit OS and Snapdragon 835 processor. I get to the Connection page and any step from there on flashes immediately to a black screen for a second and then reloads. I can't do anything with this dji program. I sideloaded the apk from apkmirror. Tried earlier versions same problem in them too. I can fly with my Samsung Tab A7, it's just a bit big for comfort. Would like to get the S8+ to work.
Sounds like there are some debugging error. Maybe you can try delete the app, restart your phone, and try reinstall again... hope that helps

so the dji mini se is one of the cheapest drones dji makes requires a higher end phone. got to love there advertisement on the box that it runs on android 6.0 if it is a new android is not mentioned so poor people buy this to find out it wont work............sounds like crazy marketing
Yeah not sure why they didn't mentioned anyway that the app was built for 64bit architecture OS. I guess they assumed majority are using 64bit phone nowadays..

Mavic mini, mini SE, mini 2, mini 3 pro, mavic air 2, air 2s, mavic 3, fpv, avata, all used the same dji fly app

My phone is oppo reno3 pro and runs 64bit,but has issues still in viewing photos and videos in the fly app.when you you view in the album it suddenly turns black and returns to the album and you need to open it again and again.
Maybe u can try uninstall fly app, restart and reinstall the fly app and see if problem persist. Btw thanks for reporting it 👍

Yes if is installed properly u are probably good to go (minus some bugs)
@@CZRProduction Thank you! Works perfectly! Sometimes the phone and controller loses connection but turning the control off and on again fixes it or pulling the cable and reconnecting it.

Hey I watched your vid and I am not sure if my LG G7 ThinQ has a 64-bit processor. If it does, why isn't the app showing up? How do I update my phone from a 32-bit to 64-bit?
It is not available in playstore since few months ago. Just sideload the installation package from dji website (direct link in description) and install it. If it installed successfully, your phone is runninf 64bit os. Otherwise it will fail half way during installation. U can upgrade to 64bit OS if your processor is a 64bit architecture but that would be too advance for a general user.

The remote is checked drone is checked firmware okey cables okey changed and checked so i donno what i need to do
@@wolfonthemoon8411 'rc not connected' mostly due to the cable, phone or remote port. Try remove your phone case if any, clean the inside of the phone port, and try again. Otherwise would be the cable that are prompt to failure easily

Based on search, it is using snapdragon 750g that support 64bit but whether your local dealer will put in 32bit or 64bit OS, that i am not sure. As i know there are quite a variation of 32/64bit OS for samsung in different country/dealer.

Hi, sorry I can't quite understand your language so I used translation and I hope it translated correctly. As mentioned DJI Fly app has been removed from Playstore since Jan 2021, so for android user in order to download the app, it has to be directly from DJI official website.

U meant u have the dji fly installed in your phone but it doesnt detect cable connection from the remote?

Idk they say on their website that samsung galaxy note 20 is compatible. I have the Ultra version but I wasn't able to find the app in playstore. I did download it from DJIs own website and it opened and worked without any problems but I don't have a drone yet so hard to say. I live in Finland so I think they got the 64bit version here. NOW I'm worried that some of the features marketed are not available for android.
I bough Zhiyun smooth 4 for samsung note 8 and after 2 years it is still glitchy and it doesn't have all the same features as with iPhone. So that was a waste of money and I don't eant to do that again. Can someone confirm if DJI fly app works as well on android as on iphone?
I'm going to let you in on a little something. The DJI fly app and the remote doesn't really care about what device you have it cares about the chipset in it if you think about it all those phones on their fly list run Snapdragon chips with a CPU architecture arm 64. If you think even further it's the chipset that runs the phone so you can have five different manufacturers with five different model of phones if they had the same chipset everything's the same exactly the same some manufacturers can get a little bit picky on the other things like with my Motorola you have to stick the cord in just right if it doesn't register it turn it around and I had to shut off the Google Play protect. Oh yeah one more thing even before you download the app and this will solve the problem with some as far as the app not downloading on the phone going to the settings and and you want to allow Android to download apps from unknown sources and sometimes also Chrome
So far it has been working fine with my huawei p10, except for some minor bugs that has been introduce with the newer version of dji fly app.

iOS is not as complicated as android (varieties) therefore the app can be systemly optimized better than varieties of android platform

@@DeepankarDetrox I used android, huawei p10, old junk phone that so far works very well. Occasionally there are some minor bugs that can be fix easily so never plan to change that.

I have a LG stylo 5 n it downloads that DJI fly app. But the new LG stylo 6 doesn't. N this phones not on ur android list. I want a 5G phone next but I don't know if there's a LG phone that I can get next to download the app. I wouldn't b able to fly my mavic air 2
As long as the device is 64bit OS, it will install and run dji fly app. If it doesnt install, half way error or installation couldnt be complete, then the device most prob not using 64bit OS. The list might not be updated as new phone production is way too fast 😅

I am using huawei p10 and so far aside from minor drawback, overall is working great. I think is very cheap now as the age of the phone is very old by now

Hi bro, upon checking, oppo reno 4 has various model with various cpu chipset but all of them seems to be 64bit processor. However i am not sure if the OS is 32/64 as those information are not available and may be vary from country/distributor/provider. If u plan to purchase this phone, the best is to ask permission to download the dji fly app or aida64 and check from there.
