A nice wee place, so is Hawick and Kelso. Melrose is a bit smaller. Hope you get the weather

dumfries is not a border town,it wasnt grey friaers kirk but greyfriaers monastrey

You are most probably right, living in west lothian i associate Dunfries with the Borders. Cheers g

Towns like Hawick, Kelso and Gala are more recognised as Scottish border towns.
