- Four Top 10s down two to go! Arc-V bonanza week has been a blast so far, and I really hope you guys enjoy my top 10 duels that I wish we saw! Remember, this is all opinion so please let me know some duels that I didn't mention that you would have loved to see down below! I hope you all enjoy!

I'll throw a monkey wrench into your list: How about Zarc vs Yuzu, Serena, Rin, and Ruri. Here's the set-up: Ray, realizing she can't revive in time to stop Zarc, uses the power of the four cards to split herself into the bracelet girls. Then, knowing what they know now, the bracelet girls take the four cards, one each, and confront Zarc together. Yuzu gains the power of pendulum in this duel and ultimately defeats Zarc after the other bracelet girls are weakened/defeated.
All I ever wanted was the 4 girls dueling against Zarc together. Each girl cripples Zarc via their respective method (Serena takes away his fusions, Rin stops his Synchros, Ruri stops his Xyzs) and Yuzu goes in for the kill. Hell, take a page from Dragon Ball and have the set up be Ray vs. Zarc, and right before Ray deals the finishing turn, she defuses into the 4 girls thanks to Leo rushing the process. This stuff should be writing itself! Instead what happens? Ghost Ray wasting everyone's time, job fests that results in a last minute save by Reira via deus ex machina bullshit, and a bunch of disappointment from everyone. Either Reiji or the 4 girls should have defeated Zarc, not last minute Reira

+Yugioh Everything it really should have been Sawatari vs. Doktor. The one guy no one expects anything from pulls off one of the biggest wins to save the bracelet girls. Would have been freaking awesome!

Yugioh GO I agree and I think she should have duel Zarc too. If Crow got uncarded then why didn't Asuka. Sure she might have lost but at least would have been great. Also after she got carded she is completely forgotten. Yuya's father forgot about her and Sora and Edo and Kaito too

and we all know that any duel that Shun is involved in, was usually a great duel.
I would love to have seen a battle royal between the Yu boys vs Yugi, Judai/Jaden, Yusei and Yuma

Reiji Vs Jack was one I thought we would get D/D/D Vs Scarlet Archfiend
A Yuya vs Yuzu duel, with Yuzu having awakened to or acquired Pendulum (which would only make sense since Ray is pretty much half of how the summoning method was created).
But basically any duel with Yuzu having pendulum would be good. I honest to Egyptian Gods thought that would be the case ever since it was established that Yuzu's an active duelist. And even barring that, more Yuzu duels. She was the only other properly trained Entertainment Duelist, she deserves some spotlight.

When she had the 2 white Pendulum cards in the Miami Tournament I was almost certain she'd go on to get say "Toccata and Fugue the Melodious Divas" with the same scales of 3 & 9. She absolutely could've used that in a rematch against Yuya. I also hoped for a genuine Yuzu Vs. Asuka duel as well as a parasite duel between brainwashed Yuzu Vs. Sora which would've been a way more fun way to beat Sora than Yuri's honor deck shilling! Yuzu was and still is my favorite character from Season 1, but that's it! I feel like they missed the marker so hard on her post-Sergey that I'm so sad to see what happened having actually been the case. It's downright stupid.

I think Sawatari could still beat the 3 You-Show Duel School tykes if they were to challenge him.
Hilariously enough Tatsuya/Tate would make for a great opponent for Shingo imo!

Kaito vs Reiji would have been one duel I wish we got. I mean most people would say Reiji would win but Kaito could pull something out of his ass
At the same time, he's freaking Reiji. There is no trumping the keikaku. Unless you're Zarc or end of series Yuya with auto win armor on

Yuzu vs Serena was a duel literally gift wrapped but was ignored for the laziest of reasons.
Yuya vs Yushou should have happened instead of Yuya vs Jack Part 3 where we already knew he was going to win.
Yuya vs Yugo was literally put in the OP3 and honesty felt more intense compared to the stuff that did happened.
Yuya vs Jack act 3 did make some sense. Jack served as a mentor like character for Yuya to a certain level, always pushing him to the limits
It's convenient how for number 4 you wish for a 4v4 duel. Also I wish that we had another Sora vs Shun duel since that they are both tied and how one more duel would settle the score.
Three Arc V duels I'd have loved to see: Berserk Yuya vs Sergey, Berserk Yuya vs the Doktor, Yuya vs Zarc or Zarc vs all four his counterparts (if they were all physically separated)

My dream was always the previous protagonists vs zarc. It doesn't make sense but i wish it did happen

Grace and Goloria dueling once/twice is good enough because they're the Tyler Twins.
I'm going to change it up a bit and mention duels I would've liked to see. Not in any order.
Brainwashed Serena vs Sora or Reira: Odd one I know. Sora because his mission at one point was to bring Serena back and this would've caused that to come back in a new light. Reira because he saved her before and this could've been a chance to foreshadow Ray's involvement with Reira somehow.
Brainwashed Rin vs Yugo rematch: I was convinced this was going to happen, with Yugo winning. It would've been a two-parter with some more on their backstory, but alas. Not much else to say there
Yuzu vs Yuya as the final duel: Don't get me wrong, I love Reiji's duels, but I so wanted this to be the final one. It would've been a great chance to give some development to all the counterparts and to really make Reira smile with two Entertainment Duelists. Plus, they hadn't dueled since episode 2! ...Oh well, I guess we can celebrate the fact that Yuzu is the only main female from the spin-offs who doesn't lose against the main character.
Someone who needed wins vs Barrett: Barrett wouldn't have gotten a win this late anyway so they could've had Asuka, Edo or someone else get a win against him.
Yuzu vs Serena: Would've happened when Serena kidnapped her. That would've been so much better than what actually happened. It would've given Serena a win I think she needed and Yuzu could've gotten a good showing at least.
Can't think of anything else at the moment. I just realized all but one involve the bracelet girls. Maybe that says something.

I wanted Asuka to duel Zarc. Sure she would have lost against Zarc but it would have been cool to see her use her ritual monsters against Zarc anyway. But no she was carded. I mean Crow got uncarded during the battle against Zarc so why didn't she.
remember early in arc-v when the guy said to shun that raji made him some pendulum cards, he never used them

Asuka vs Denniss should've happened.
Then on a seculded part of the boat, Kaito and Barrett would have their little get together. Kaito's character is tested and Barrett must redeem himself after numerous failures. At the end, Kaito wins and opts not to card Barrett. Barrett cards himself out of pride as a warrior.
Asuka wins and prevents Dennis from carding himself after swapping backstories

I wish we had a Yuzu Vs Serena duel, Yuto Vs Yuri, Serena Vs Yuri and Yuya Vs Yuto. Those duels would have been amazing to see but unfortunately didn't happen, but we still have Fanfiction, I love that Pokemon Rap reference! I love these Bonanza videos, keep it up Dylan! :)

The duels I really wanted to see:
Awakened/Rage Yuya vs. Parasite Doctor Guy
Yuya, Yugo, Yuto and Yuri vs. Zarc
Jack vs. Reiji
Yuya vs. Yugo
Yuya vs. Yusho
So many interesting duels we could have had, so many interesting characters that could have played a major (or bigger) role and what did we get...
Boring, repetitive duels without any surprise moments, action cards that interrupted the flow and (if we finally got to see) awesome combos of duelists because Yuya was too weak to think of a counterattack/countereffect...
I really hope action cards stay dead and buried in the upcoming series...
Jack Atlas vs Akaba Reiji would have been an interesting duel to see, two badass people dashing it out!

Yugo v. Jack could have happened.Yugo did comment how he wanted to win the Friendship Cup and duel Jack,so another dream duel shattered.

I mentioned that number 6 duel in the last video and I totally agree XD. I also wish we had like a flashback Duel between Ray and Zarc before the split just to we could pin down what his personality was before going evil on us and see both character's duel style. Also Zarc's original face hardly gets screen time. We had like....two shots of it through the entire series.
you can minus the bracelet girls, since an 8 way duel would be really complicated (and they weren't important duelists anyway)- but at least a 4 way free for all duel with the 4 yu-boy's woulda been epic.
A possible scenario could be after the whole Zarc thing, and Yuri apparently good now (lol), the 4 boys coulda dueled to see who's body remains the host after the reset. Woulda been a great emotional moment for Yuya to basically be taking out his counterparts, and be a pretty meaningful conclusion to his character arc (similar to how Yugi had to duel Atem). Would also give a good explanation for why the counter parts just vanish.

Super late comment, but a duel I'd have loved to see is Reiji versus Yusyo. Given how much Reiji idolized him, I feel like this would have been a great duel to show a side of Reiji we know exists because there are subtle hints of it, but that we don't see on screen, the fun loving childish side of him. It would also be a rare duel in which we could see Reiji LOSE without tarnishing his character.
Yosyo is his idol, someone he looks up to. And there isn't a good reason given for why Reiji goes against Leo, outside of it being the right thing to do. Showing this duel, probably as a flashback, would also explain the complicated older brother relationship he has with Yuya, which he shows hints of from before the two even meet.
Seeing a young Reiji, with his super powerful D/D deck get schooled by Yusyo using a much more classic "Duel Monsters" style deck would have been awesome to see, also a way to add a nice nod to the original series and would have helped develop Reiji's motivation for why he went against his father, developed the lancers, and why he, at heart, is the fun loving guy he is underneath all the seriousness.

A duel I wish I saw was the duel between the winners of the best of 3 duels when they tried to clear Yuya's name about Sylvio getting attacked by Yuya because I wanted to see how Yuya would handle against Julia
This may have been just me, but Im a kind of guy who likes even the odd, out of place archetypes or the less commonly seen. Like the three kids that were a part of You Show; we only saw a full duel with one of them and we barely saw anything of the others. I would have loved to see full duels with those guys.
Oh, and I would have loved to see the Fortune Teller girl or the cook duelist duel again too. Sorry if I dont have their names on reference. XD
I personally was very satisfied with Rogets final duel. Roget's immortaltality thing made it impossible for him to truly lose. So I thought it reiji would simply stall until security arrived to arrest roget but then reiji comes out with an infinite win loop. It was so freaking cool
I was satisfied with the way he loses. But disappointed with him as a duelist. He was not immortal, he was just cheating. And getting OTKed while cheating makes him literally the weakest of all villain duelists in Yugioh.

Hey man thanks for putting my Yuya vs Yugo duel on the list,it really sucks how this never happened in the anime. Another I wanted to see was Yuri vs Yuto because you had the best duelist in Academia vs the leader of the Resistance, that would've been so good to see if they didn't kill Yuto off so early in the series.

Quick side note, the Shun vs. Reiji one got me thinking about season one and a the thought occurred that Reiji altered the memories of three LDS students and that just kinda got swept under the rug. I know its not related to the video but it hit me that I never hear anyone say anything about that
You know what they should have done maybe kept it as a tradition from gx and onward.Because wouldn't you love to see Yusei vs Judai, Yusei vs Yuma, Yuya vs Yuma and Yuya vs Yusaku as ceremony duels aka the last duel in the series.Great video dylan can't wait for the next one.
I wanted to see more between the duel of Yusho vs Dennis. Master vs student. Also, Yusho vs Yuya as the very final duel of the series would've been nice.
Sylvio vs Lazar
Yuri vs Sylvio is on my list, Sylvio could have showed up and tried to calm his arch-rival Yuya down while gloating lying to get Yuri goaded into dueling him instead claiming to have dueled and defeated Yuya, Yuto, and Yugo and how defeating Yuri would be a cake walk and how winning the duel would be like his dad's impending victory in the election for Mayor, which would either make Yuri curious or just want to defeat him in a duel so he could be carded and shut the heck up
Yugo vs Yuya is a duel I wish happened in the finals of the Friendship Cup right before the Jack vs Yuya Rematch, and while watching the Dub, I was just interested in the possibilities of them dueling
As someone that loves Ninja decks, I would've liked Moon Shadow getting a couple wins on screen. I'm also miffed that his Ninjitsu Art cards haven't gotten printed.
They could hypothetically be in a video game based on Arc-V. One where the player is their own character. I have a few ideas:
You team up with Shay after bringing both Yuya and Zuzu to Xyz Dimension. They tag duel you using Yuto and Lulu's decks. When you win, Shay finally has closure and moves on with life :)
You sure know your stuff dude! I really enjoy this marathon so far and i hope that there is even a 0.00000000........0001 percent chance that KONMONEY will actually make these happen...
I would like to see a The Yu boys versus Zarc, that would have been an epic final duel or Yuya with the Yu boys inside of him to duel Zarc (somehow)

Along with Grace vs Gloria I would have liked to see Grace and Gloria vs Yuzu and Asuka. It could have given Yuzu a duel after episode 100, and Asuka another match.
I don't know if this counts, but Asuka vs Dennis as well (instead of Kaito).
I think Leo vs Barrett and Roget makes a lot of sense. Barret would probably feel bad for the brainwashed Serena, and Roget would be upset with Leo.
I think that a 4v4 match would be an interesting concept for Yuboy vs bracelet girl.
I would have liked if Serena had dueled with her Moonlight monsters while being brainwashed. Yuzu needed to duel brainwashed. Ruri needed a win, and Rin needed to duel more then once.
I think Edo (before redemption) vs Kaito would be interesting. Kaito is the best resitence member against the commander and chief of Academia.
I think Arc V had some really good duels, but some matches were needed.
Kite vs Jack Atlas I would love to see this duel happen. my favorite two characters
I can only think of a top 5 at the moment; I'm not concerning myself with the legacy characters or Duels that eventually happened that people wanted to see during Arc-V's "story":
5. Yuya v. Yugo: Yuya would obviously won this and absorb Yugo, but I would love to see the three boys interact with each other.
4. Serena/Rin/Ruri (and Yuzu if you want) v anyone late in the story: It would've been interesting to see that while under mind control, the girls could defeat and card Sora, Tsukikage, Reira and/or Gongenzeka, etc.
3. Yuya v. Yusho: This would've been an amazing Duel where Yuya lost and proved he has more to learn (just like the second Duel with Reiji).
2. Shingo v. Yuri: pretty much what you said.
1. Akaba Leo v. Kurosaki Shun: Leo ordered the attack on Heartland and kidnapped Shun's sister. Tell me, HOW DID THIS NOT HAPPEN?! Shun would've be ferocious in his assault but Leo would eventually prevail and card Shun :,(
10.43 actually we had a father vs son duel back in gx - Chumley facing his dad for a chance to stay at duel academy. Also in the second arc v season we had a mother vs son duel - Yuya facing Yoko. She may have had only one turn but it showed she's not a pushover. She was the head honcho of a team of lady bikers before meeting Yusho.

I agree with pretty much the full list!
Some other duels I would have liked to see:
-A rematch between Yuya and Barret
-Yuya, Yuzu, and Rei vs Zarc
-Kachidoki vs Zarc
-Anyone vs the Executive Council (did they even have cards?)
-Kaito and Shun vs 100 Academia students and/or Obelisk Force members
-Bracelet Girl vs Bracelet Girl
-Reiji vs Zane
-Yusho vs Strong Ishijima (lol)
-Dark Entity vs Pure Zarc and Ray.
With Reiji creating the bridge between all dimensions, I would have been cool with Zarc and Ray staying whole and staying together as Dimensional Guardians, with memories from all of their parts. This duel could give the chance to go into both of their back stories and we'd see their original decks and how Zarc handled his dragons.
-Yugo vs Jack
Yugo could have gone against Yuya, fought against and overcome their berserk modes, but taken Yuya's mindset into the duel with Jack, now having the goal to unite all in his dimension. Jack could have been a villian like figure they had to beat and change the mindset of, thus gaining and friend for the final arc. I never liked Yuya winning something so personal for a dimension he leaves right after. Yugo just made more sense to me.
-Mrs Akaba vs anyone
Her look was always so strong to me and in having all others in her family dueling, her throwing down doesn't seem too far of a stretch.
-Dark Entity vs Yu-Boys and their BG counterparts in 2 vs 1s like the Zarc duels
On the topic of legacy vs legacy duels since you have mentioned a few times that Zane does exist in arc v wouldn't it be cool (like you have already mentioned in earlier lists i think) to have had Zane vs kite?
I would have loved to see a Sora vs Yuzu duel in the Synchro arc at some point, I just think that would have been a nice way of handling his defection from Academia.
Do you think that they can make more ARC V seasons, or do you hope?
While I would like to see a duel between Gloria Tyler and Grace Tyler, I am glad that they didn't duel against each other because while they did have some disagreements ever since their defeat at the hands of Yuya and Shun, the Tyler sisters never lost their bond with each other. Also for the record, either Grace or Gloria could win if they dueled each other, but neither would card the other because the Tyler sisters would always care about each other.

Yuzu vs Prediction princess girl over Yuyas affection. The kids vs Reira (shivers, girl, and blue detective trio) for building up reira and showing more what the trio had learned. Gladiator vs Cyber Angel since Alexis would have been a good influence. Yuzus father vs Reiji to have a one time match that shows why people would want to learn from him.
Those are some randoms that could be interesting. This last is a deck suggestion match that any no name or unfaced name could use against another; Exodia Modern Vs Gusto Modern. I wish they would do an exodia match once per season as a way of gagging character specialty and I love the Gusto set because they dance about their foe taunting them with their stupid tricks and endless matches.

Yugioh Everything my duel that wanted happen... Yuya vs Z-Arc... Yuya can repent for being Z-Arc and control the dragons in a believable way, The dragon boys would get interactions each, maybe a Odd-Eyes ultimate evolution and Yuri redemption arc most of all with the girls returning after his defeat

Of the duels I wanted to see the most was a third match of Yuya vs Sawatari like a pure Abyss Actor vs Performapals to see who is the better entertainer as in my opinion Sawatari is Yuyas real rival and they could have done the duel instead of Yuya vs Gongenzaka in the end
The worst part about bracelet vs Dragons? IT COULD HAVE HAPPENED had they shown they were fightning in their minds, through tlepathy, while Ray and Zarc were having their duel. WE COULD HAVE HAD 2 OF THE DUELS SAID IN THIS LIST, FOR THE PRIZE OF 1!!!!!!!!
I would have loved to see a rematch between Yuya and Strong Ishijima.
Think about it: he was reigning duel monsters champion, who after being defeated by Yuya left to train in order to become stronger. We could have had a duel between in order to see how far both characters have come since the beginning of the anime.
i know this was uploaded 5 years ago but, one duel that would have been really cool was like you said, zarc vs ray, but with a twist
instead of just defeating him, and recreating the cycle that brought them to this point, ray appeals to the yu-boys and everything they've experienced. the good, the bad, and maybe a little bit of the bracelet girls sneak out.
from there, the parts of zarc start to break apart, causing a second concurrent duel occuring between the yu-boys and zarc inside themselves.
both battles end with Ray/Bracelet Girls and the Yu-boys yelling out the same thing as they launch their final attacks, a flash of light, and then we have Zarc somewhere from his past, back before dueling was tainted by violence for him. he muses about the past, about the future, about the counterparts, and Ray comes up, holding out her hand, saying that their story is done, and to leave what happens next to their legacy. Zarc grabs her hand, and they fade away into the soft light.
I really wish there was a yuya and yuzu tag team or yuya yusyo tag team. That would've awesome to see

Let's be real Yusho was gonna get bodied. He couldn't do much against Yuri when he was fused with only Yugo. What makes him think that he could do anything against all 4 of them?

I always wanted to see a Zarc vs yuya, yuto, yugo and yuri. A duel inside the mind of Zarc during the 11 vs 1.
Each of the 4 boys summons their dragon opening turn.
Zarc summons his 4 dragons taking down 1 boy each turn.. Leaving yuya vs Zarc.
Yuya could play a card that allows him to take the 3 fallen dragons from the graveyards. Then using the pendulum machinc, evolving each dragon into a series of next level dragons.. The new dragons would be brand new monsters. Designed to beat zarcs own dragons.
When yuya wins, he would control zarcs body like the anime showed and activate smile universe to seemingly surrender the duel against Ray.
Oh my gosh, I thought that Ray vs. Zarc was the one I wanted more, but when you said Reiji vs. Shun was number one, yeah, that's the one I wanted the most. I mean Reiji's my favorite character in ARC-V and Shun's my third favorite, so something like that would have made me go crazy.
I think that's probably the reason I have a Duel between them written up for a future chapter in one of my fanfictions...

Seeing the two sister duel each other, The professor dueling Barrett, and seeing a Zac vs Ray duel is something that could've possible happen.
The other duels like the 4 Zuzu counterparts vs 4 Yuya counterparts and especially the other so call legacy character battling other past YGO characters from other dimension is something I wouldn't want to see since it just feel off from the show.
But yes I can definitely agree on the Yuya vs Yugo part. It's not a battle that we wish we saw happen but it SHOULD have happen.That is something I really wanted to see and it should really be number 1. It could have been one for the ages. Just like Jack vs Yusei 2nd duel in the final. But Crow vs Yuya was pretty great. And another duel that should have also happen is Riley vs Shinji and Yuya vs Sora Rematch.
My number one wish duel is Yuri vs Yuto. These two has zero interaction during the anime despite the whole fusion vs Xyz.
I would have loved to see (first off More of the Tyler sisters duels) but seeing Them join the duel Zarc. We had all 2v1's basically vs him and it would have been cool to see them synergize with each other and attempt to beat him.
I always would have been interesting if in the end Zarc split back into the 4 Yu boys but they were all evil so the last bacth of episodes was the 4 bracelet girls dueling their counterpart to "purify them" or whatever.
