I agree with all of those. Personally, Spectre is probably one of the most unique characters I have ever seen in the Yugioh franchise (besides other characters like Yuri), and Revolver being just a great character overall.
It's a shame they didn't do another final duel with Revolver and Playmaker. That would've been a perfect finish to Vrains for me
My favorite has always been Playmaker vs Akira Zaizen. It was full of suspense and we got to know a lot of the characters backstories. And when Playmaker used Firewall to defeat Akira was such a great and exciting moment!
Revolver and spectre are just flexing on this list
My boy spectre gets the recognition he deserves I'm so glad cz spectral was such an enjoyable duelist and character .

Top 5 duels which I genuinely enjoyed:
5: Brave Max (Lonely Brave) vs Knight of Hanoi, the most entertaining (and hilarious) duel ever.
4: Blood Shepherd vs Lightning, this duel had back and forth interactions as well as complicated combos. I loved although it hurt my brain a little bit (even Dylan couldn’t keep up with what was going on).
3: Blue Angel vs Specter, Blue Angel used 100% of her deck’s power. Her strategy was almost the same as how it was in real life.
2: Soulburner vs Windy, Soulburner spammed Heatleo during the entire duel. This was the only match in which a player utilized his/her ace monster from the beginning to the end.
1: Playmaker vs Bohman R3, the conversation was interesting, the result was the most shocking one. I absolutely loved the moment when Bohman declared that he had no other choice right before Playmaker finished his attack which made almost all, if not all, of us believed that Playmaker was going to win.
Top 5 duels which were also interesting, but I didn’t like them because the staffs put a lot of effort in them (it was pretty unfair for other duels) and they showed how annoying the plot armor was:

I have a number of favorite ❤ duels in Vrains, but one of my favorite duels is Spectre vs Lighting ⚡ and Ghost Girl 💜 vs Blood Shepherd 💚.
My own personal Top 10 Would be:
- Top 10: Brave MAX Vs That Hanoi Knight (it was so fun)
- Top 9: Bowman Vs Playmaker Final battle (most Of What Dylan Said applies here)
- Top 8: Revolver Vs Soulburner (loses points for me due to My dislike for Soulburner but it was awesome)
- Top 7: GO Vs Earth (because the impact it left at the end it was just WOW)
- Top 6: Aoi vs Spectre (loses points becasue Aoi lost but most of what dylan said applies here)
- Top 5: Spectre vs Lightning (because it was an interesting case of evil vs evil, and i kinda enjoyed seeing spectre being defeated)
- Top 4: Revolver Vs Lightning (kinda loses points because lightning didn't used spectre as hostage as everyone thouhgt but still it was good)
- Top 3: Playmaker VS Ai (loses points because i kinda wish it had been a 3 vs 1, given all the other tag duels that were seen before, but it was enjoyable noneless)
- Top 2: Revolver Vs Playmaker Round 2 (the season 1 finale, and i am including the Speed duel all the way up to their master duel)
- Top 1: Playmaker VS Akira Zaizen (all the plot seen there and the interactions there were just amazing. also, original firewall dragon's last use as the ace monster)
Lightning did. He said that he linked himself to Spectre's data so that if he lost, Spectre would be deleted.

2:36 sometimes HA try almost all the time seriously I build balanced decks and they still managed to screw me over with hands especially the GOD DAM VAGABOND ON DUEL LINKS

I’m still getting used to the series, so I’ve only got 5 favourite duels:
1) Playmaker vs Ai
2) Playmaker vs Akira (I loved the duel for the same reasons you just said and how for a change when the villain thinks they’ve won, they start to walk away)
3) Revolver vs Playmaker (the one with the infamous 3000 points of damage that can’t be negated)
4) Playmaker vs Bohman IV
5) Ai vs Blue Angel and Akira

I toldly agree with you about ai and playmaker final duel. My favourite character is playmaker and second is ai so ever time I see or hear he’s dead I always sim to cry. I really want to make a @ignister deck but I only got 11% of that deck but I do have playmaker deck

Very solid picks from a very solid series of duels to choose from.
For me number 1 is Easily AI vs Playmaker, one of the few duels that I thought almost practically FLAWLESS
Dueling action - Superb! Both Duelists using all the summoning methods and creating amazing final boss monster
Dialogue - some of the best of the show and really hooks you in
Ending - Real tear jerker that I did not think would be as dark as it got

I absolutely love this top 10. Every single duel on this list, I 100% agree with. While I would change a few of the picks (just my opinion), I can understand why certain duels made it. For example Brave Max vs the Knight of Hanoi. As stated, it was the realistic duel in the entire franchise. If there were other duels to make the list, I would have chosen:
Playmaker vs Go (Round 2)
Blue Maiden vs Bohman
Soul Burner vs Bohman
Ai vs The Zaizens
& Soul Burner vs Robbi
But regardless, this was a perfect top 10. Good work Yugioh Everything 👍🏻

Playmaker vs Akira is the only duel I thought that Yusaku would lose.
You had the protagonist talking about revenge and Akira talking about moving foward.

Some of my favourites are Playmaker/Akira, Playmaker/Ai, Spectre/Lightning, Windy/Revolver, Bohman/Soulburner.
Spectre's, Lightning's and Revolver's (and some of Playmaker's duels) are my personal favorites!
I was laughing throughout the entire Brave Max vs Hanoi duel. I love when filler duels are really fun and unique. Like the match between Kotori and Cat-chan vs Yuma and Gilag, where Yuma's trying to lose on purpose or the filler duel in 5Ds against the guys trying to summon Zushin. Those duels wouldn't make very good "plot" duels, but they are really fun, and remind me of playing the actual card game. Not all filler is bad, in fact I would argue that Yu-Gi-Oh needs a little bit of filler in order to get you attached to the characters.
Soulburner vs Bohman, what a great twist that was and smartly done, you don't see many duels like that.

I did enjoy the duel between Unknown (Yusaku) and the Hanoi henchman.
Yusaku showcases the irl Starter Deck during this match up and shows how it can be used. Another very unique and realistic duel in tandem with the Brave Max duel.
Dyllan, will you do a road to yugioh sevens( name is still dumb) talking about some of the newer info with rush duels and how rush duels won't be a thing in the TCG...

Honestly, i loved this duel. It was super creative. Showing that people brick
Glad someone else liked Naoki vs. the Knight of Hanoi Duel, since it shows, even if it's just luck that helps him win, the fact he was able to get what he needed to win shows he's a better Duelist than he looks and comes off, and he still showed that potential too when he Dueled Emma, even if he showed he has a good ways to go.
Would definitly squeeze somewhere in the list Aoi vs Bohman. It was duel we all knew she was gonna loose but she managed to put up one hell of a fight till the bitter end. Bohman won the duel, but Aoi won our hearts.
Yugioh Everything I agree ✅ with your top 10 best duels YU-GI-OH vrains was one of the third best yugioh series out of all 7 YU-GI-OH's in my opinion.

3:15 Probably The only thing i disliked was Aoi losing. But it was a great Duel otherwise
Although she lost, it is definitely undeniable that she had one hell of a fight.
Quite the opposite, when aoi lost vrains and spectre grew more in my eye since the outcome wasn't plot derived and spectre turned out to be a great duelist

I have... an interesting "Top 10" duels for Vrains. It's not duels that I wanted to see, but more like if I were the lead writer and I'm in charge of the direction of the story, this is what duels I would have:

9. Aoi Zaizan (Blue Angel) vs Go
8. Playmaker vs Soulburner
7. Playmaker vs Windy (introducing Pendulums)
6. Aoi Zaizan (Blue Girl) vs Emma/Ghost Girl (competing to be Aqua's ignis partner)
5. Bohman vs Brave Max (a battle of luck where Brave Max had the upper hand in the beginning).
4,3,&2. Aoi Zaizan vs Aqua/Soulburner vs Flame/Jin Kusanagi vs Lightning
1. Playmaker vs Cyberse Magician (Heroes travels to & got separated in Cyberse World. CM uses multiple Cyberse ritual monsters and has a grudge against A.I)

i agree with most of the list, but i would add the playmaker versus Go onizuka by the end of season 2(the one with firewall exeed), it was a really great duel to watch and the scene when playmaker gets the new firewall is one of my favorites animation moments on yugioh. i would also add pretty much all of Go's duels from season one (in special the one aginst revolver) Go was easily one of my favorites during season 1, all of hes duels with the pro wrestler persona was a lot of fun, to bad he become a bit of an asshat during season 2
I couldn't do a top, but man, Go vs Revolver was my favorite, the way Go and Revolver outplay each other, even taking advantage from their opponent's cards. It shows how determined Go was to defeat Revolver, recovering from the field wipes Revolver threw at him with Topologic Bomber and Mirror Force. Even if the outcome was predictable, you still feel robbed because it was really neck-to-neck all the time.
Revolver truly the best character in vrains and such a joy to watch when he duels.
If in a duel a attack is interrupted by a commercial break or ends up in a explosion or someone saids this is the end its probably that the attack is negated

My favorite duel from Playmaker & Bohamn is the third one were they had a speed duel.
I really tried to see every single episode of Yugioh VRains, but none of the websites I've seen had all the episodes, and so I missed out on the duel between Playmaker and AI.
Spector vs Lightning was a goated duel
They just trash talking to each other during the entire duel
I am so happy someone agrees that playmaker had main character protection against revolver during their last duel.
My fave duel in VRAINS was a tie - Blue Maiden vs Spectre (S1) and Revolver vs Soulburner (S3)
Blue Maiden never duels with Specter (I know what you mean, so you don't need to correct me).

I just rewatched Lightning vs. Revolver the other day….so damn good! It really made me HATE Lightning 😅 but that’s awesome because he surely delivered as a villain!

@@davidliu4134 Well i do know its a strange choice but I kinda found this Duel very cool for multiple reasons I liked both characters decks allot and yes BS has a even worse Duel record than Go witch suprises me now all is said and done since BS whas said to be the most feared Bounty Hunter in Link Vrains...but what I liked about this Duel whas that it whas really back and forth action and not Lightning completely dominating BS for 20 minutes straight and BS did manage to reduce Lightning to only 200 LP best performance of BS in my opinion

Revolver vs. Soulburner 2 (without a shadow of a doubt).
Playmaker vs. Ai.
Lightning vs. Spectre.
Playmaker vs. Bohman 4 (especially the final turn that was almost Yusei Fudo's Stardust Dragon vs. Z-one's Ultimate Timelord esc).
Here is somthing i noticiced and feel free to correct me if im wrong.
Bowman never does anything with the dark atribute, in either summons or dice rolls.

Same here (lurking around while I can, for some reason, I somewhat can’t stand Playmaker and I honestly don’t know why if I am being honest here.) still fun. 🥰🤩🔥
I do like PM as a char, and his dueling style too, I just feel more like SB fits me more
gonna admit, I prefer Aoi's duel style over PM too, but I prefer PM's over Revolver and Go

My top 10 are most Revolver’s duels XD as well.
However not a big fan of the ending of Revolver vs Lightning, not because Revolver lost but the fact that Lightning never gets to be punished from all the things he done in S2, heck why they didn’t let PM duel Lightning ?!
revolver also never was punished for his crimes. he took aoi‘s consciousness. he was putting innocent people into coma who could be playmaker. he absorbed the majority of vrains players/duelists into his tower. duel monsters is the most popular sport in the yugioh-verse. how many people do you think were in there? i guess some millions. the majority of them being young, very young. the tower was supposed to destroy the consciousness of all those absorbed people which is equal to dying. losing your consciousness to someone does not mean death because it can still be obtained like in aoi’s case. but destroying it is the same as killing. the tower was there to destroy the network. you know what‘s all connected to the network? the network is controlling electricity, water supply, hospital equipment, planes, trains, automobiles an a lot more.
no matter how much he changed and he did change a lot. that does not mean that he should be completely freed from his crimes
really ironic how revolver did everything to stop the ignis after his father told him his opinion. and in the end he was the cause of lightning‘s crimes. lightning said himself that he started his plan after seeing that humanity, revolver and his tower, could be a threat for all ignis. it‘s a loop, nah rather a myth.
i would have liked to see revolver winning vs lightning so him and playmaker could duel bohman as a tag team. i think revolver vs lightning was the correct choice because those two were each other‘s nemesis in s2. revolver saying all the details about lightning and how lightning told him the truth of his father was more impactful because they were dueling each other.

first off I didn’t say Revolver is innocent by any means, but Revolver at the end worked all this time “ Starting from S2” to clear his father’s mistakes he lived with guilt. He tried to revenge Windy’s partner because of what his ignis did, he helped SB to move on from his past, he gave the protection program to PM, he stopped his attack against Lightning when he could just simply ignored what PM said to him as what his season1 persona would do which was hurting ppl in order to achieve his goals. At the end of the series Revolver put his life all to watch the network and protect which is a perfect for someone with his crimes instead of making just live a happy life like that.
As for Lightning, you remember he actually attacked poor Jin which led him to suffer from the trauma all these years!!! Not to mention he actually put the virus on Kogami which caused him to die “ he deserved it” all these are proves that he was an error that led his world to be destroyed because he couldn’t stand the truth , changed those simulation which caused Kogami to believe all the ignis are bad. Not saying I agree with the KOH or there methods since like you said they almost killed ppl but it was Lightning’s doing what lead them to start this and believe that all the ignis need to be destroyed until Revolver realized it later.
The tag duel was my hope, since I was hoping to see PM, Revolver vs Bohman or anyone or PM, SB vs anyone but never happened
Mina Shaia he used windy‘s partner as a excuse. he would have tried to kill windy even if he would have been a innocent ignis. revolver even wanted to kill ai, who did more good than revolver and who also prevented him from becoming a mass murderer, after s2 before he assaulted queen. he gave the protection program to playmaker as ally because there was a bigger threat out there. he said it so well: the enemy of my enemy is my friend. after that he wanted to fight playmaker for ai.
i admit that lightning planned worse things but revolver‘s solution would have damaged revolver crazily. revolver was simply lucky that he was stopped by playmaker in s1 before they could do any on-screen damage that lasts forever. don‘t forget that revolver sacrificed vrya and faust (they raised him like parents) and spectre (his best friend) for his tower while he wasn‘t ready to sacrifice himself for his tower, the embodiment of his life mission. the fact that he was ready to sacrifice anyone except himself was a betrayal to his partners because he made the tower vulnerable. he could have simply put the stop button in the tower. some people would call him a coward for that. playmaker would have never made it in time to the tower itself. lightning at least was ready to sacrifice himself for his mission.
revolver should have went to jail.
i wrote about lightning crimes. he is a terrible being just like revolver. in my opinion there is a certain point where you can’t redempt yourself and revolver crossed that line just as lightning. but another ironic fact about vrains: lightning was the reason that humanity can keep existing. without him there would be no humanity anymore in the future. he saved humanity
Chaos of madness we all would have liked it. both with their link 5‘s vs the divine ignis of SOL. even though revolver can‘t create a link 5 in the anime because the resources are impossible to obtain for a human
Dario Hieras Dario Hieras you clearly missed my point which is that I never said that Revolver innocent but Lightning started off all that with changing those simulations to mislead Kogami who possibly was close to discover that only Lightning need to be killed and the other ignis not. 99% of the audience were wished that Windy would die during that duel because of what he did to his partner before we discovered the truth of him being innocent ignis as well which what Revolver didn’t know and only discovered it after their duel . Also he would win against SB in their first duel and took Flame easily since SB was emotionally not prepared to duel as he did in the rematch but Revolver decided not to because he already knew that Lightning was the actual threat but never told them that. Revolver admitted he will kill himself alongside the other knights who are all willing to die as well for the sake of their crazy plan aka it was their choice.
At the end I am fully aware that Revolver was a villain in S1 who became an anti hero in S2 doing his, admitted that he should be in jail but SB and PM felt that the wasn’t the right choice “ in their opinions” and he should put his live to watch the network for the rest of his life and it’s not something easy and very equal to a punishment for all his crimes.
At the end in my opinion Revolver was written almost perfectly.

8. Akira Vs Playmaker (same but also how unique Akira's Tindangle deck is)
7. Revolver Vs Playmaker 4th duel (easiest one of the best season finale duels in the whole franchise, where the turns are crazily intense but never feel forced, only well-planned)
6. Revolver Vs Windy (SYNCHRO SYNCHRO SYNCHRO!!!)
5. Spectre Vs Lightning (same reasons as you)
4. Spectre Vs Playmaker (two opposites colliding with some deep questioning about Playmaker's sense of justice, just wow)
3. Revolver Vs Lightning (same reasons)
2. Revolver Vs Soulburner (along with 116 being my second best episode in the whole series)
1. Revolver Vs Playmaker 3rd round (the classic stakes are there but the desperation is new, and we get some amazing development between Ai and Playmaker, as well as a huge insight in Revolver's character, along with Topologic Gumblar, Transcode Talker and mutual destruction based on emotional decisions)

Top duels for me have to be Soulburner vs Revolver and Playmaker vs AI. Though I think Vrains had a ton of great duels. Aoi vs Specter, Revolver vs Go, Revolver vs Playmaker, Akira vs Playmaker, Playmaker vs Revolver (season 1 finale), Playmaker vs Bohmen, Playmaker vs Go (Season 2), Revolver vs Windy, and even Revolver vs Blood Sheppard. Just to name a few. There are many more.
