Great reaction. I was fortunate to attend their live performance in Florida last Friday with the IAC (International Association of Competitive Quartets (men's barbershop). They did this piece live - OMG!!! Maggie, if you are in NYC, Voctave has a show on Jan 14 at the Symphony Space on Broadway. Their live shows are so goose bumping generating!

omg! I was watching it online and was still INCREDIBLE! i think you're referring to the AIC though, the Association of International Champions. it's for all of the men's quartets that win the gold at the open international competition!

Oh my gosh, them live is a whole experience. I was fortunate enough to see them live. On mic they are phenomenal but there is someone balancing them in the booth. At the end they came to the front and sang off mic….mind blown.
I’m a big Pentatonix fan, but these folks are right up there with their harmonies, and the amazing tightness of their performances. Love it.

The same way you get to the Met. Practice practice practice.
They just practice. Most the time, on their own rather than as a whole group due to their individual schedules. But most their rehearsals is during tour times since they're together. Disney knows how to weed out the top % singers for what type of songs they need produced, a they definitely struck gold with Voctave's members at one point.
i got to see them live february 2022, and it was an INCREDIBLE experience. i don't even have words for it
I was lucky to see them in concert first week of Dec. They sound JUST LIKE THIS in person they are beyond amazing. They did medley as well and it was amazing. Love your reactions! Keep the Voctave ones coming

This reminds me of my dad. He was a baritone. He could also do a harmony off the cuff to any song. He was in a gospel choir from a teenager right up to covid. He died just as covid was ending at age 78.
