Megitsune. Old album stuff, but I think it's the best of all. Ijime, Dame, Zetaii is also very cool. A song about saying no to bullies.

Especially when Yui and Moa start to sing the very first part "Ata ta ta ta ta " , most of reactors get a shocked look lol. It happens every time you know lol.

I love your reactions! You should check out Sakura Gakuin. It has a school concept. Babymetal was a sub unit of that group until BM became an independent group after Suzuka graduated in 2013 (when they graduate from middle school, the must graduate from SG as well) Both Su-metal and Moa-metal were SG class presidents in 2012 and 2014 respectively. You can start with videos in which the BM members get more screen time, My Graduation Toss (Suzuka) and Heart no Hoshi (Yui and Moa)
I'm a heavy metal fan and an A-pop fan so when I found babymetal I went a little coocoo. So far 'Chocolate' is my favorite song and I liked your reaction but let me just tell you you're going to love that song even more when you find out the English lyrics to it. Search RUclips for 'eilemonty gimme chocolate'. I LOVE her English cover of this song.
Just an FYI, Su-Metal was 14 when that video was made. Yuimetal (left) and Moametal (right) were both 12. I think - they may have been 15 and 13. They are currently 18 and 16, and a couple weeks ago, became the first Japanese act to do a solo show at a nearly sold-out Wembley Arena.
Also, you should check out their later live videos with the live backing band (Kami Band) instead of the Babybones mime band in this video. These guys are some of the best metal musicians in Japan.
No one else mentioned it, so I'll just add a suggestion: For a really mind-blowing experience, check out Iine (that's a capital "i", so two i's in a row). The breakdown is so totally unexpected.
Last thing, for a lot of good info about Babymetal as a whole (the girls, the band, etc.) you should check out the /r/babymetal subreddit. It's a very friendly place to be.

Actually Su was 16 in Gimme Chocolate. This was filmed at their Legend 1997 concert on December 21, 2013 the day after Su's 16th birthday (it was called Legend 1997 because that's the year she was born and it was like a birthday celebration concert for her). Yui & Moa were both 14 and a half at the time.
I'd like to suggest, if you prefer their live videos, "Road of Resistance" which was held in front of a massive crowd of 20,000 - which was twice the size of their Gimme Chocolate video and their largest solo concert up to that point. Or if you like their traditional videos more like Karate, you should watch "Megitsune". Not quite as weird but considered by many to be one of their best songs.
+For An Angel Yeah, you're right about their ages when this video was filmed. It's kinda been a blur the past couple years, and it's hard to remember how old they were when "x" was done.
And yes, "Megitsune" is my favorite video from the first album. "Ijime, Dame, Zettai" is the other favorite of mine.
I've only been a fan for about a month. Since then, I've found that the best RUclips videos are babymetal reactions, so I subbed because you said you would do another.

Just FYI, Mikiko is the choreographer for Babymetal as well as another extraordinary J-Pop group named Perfume. Additionally, Su-Metal (lead singer) once made an appearance on "Britain's Got Talent" and even awed the ever skeptical Simon Cowell. Thank you for your reaction video. Yours is one of the more genuine ones.

How about you learn some manners. You don't know what I go through on a daily basis, you dont know if I struggle with weight, I could have a medical issue that causes excess weight gain. WHICH I DO! I try very hard to accept what I look like because it's never going to change. I exercise daily, I eat healthy, I take medication daily, and I don't need some random person telling me I look bad. I made a joke, I make fun of myself because its my sense of humor. Doesn't give you permission to tell me to 'put the chocolate down'.
Too much effort and too much drama. You should have just deleted his comment because that's all the response he deserves.
When you let people like that get to you, they win. You don't need to explain yourself to them, nor should you give a shit about what they think, ESPECIALLY when it's some random twit on the internet. Just write them off (or flip them off if it will make you feel better) and move on.
It didn't get to me, I wasn't depressed over his comment. I actually laughed when I read it, because he doesn't know me and I found his advice comical. My comment was there to make him feel bad. To show him he doesn't know anyone just by watching a video. I don't tolerate those that think they have the right to tell people to put the fork or chocolate down its the same as telling a skinny person to eat a burger. Its offensive, obviously he wasn't taught that in school and it's never too late for a lesson. If he thinks it's okay to tell people those kinds of things, he needs a wakeup call. I don't care if it's online or in real life, at some point his words will effect someone.

+MonsterOfLeon . Yes,I know you're right on the iine title, but long as I can find it, doesn't matter to me what it's called. I love BabyMetal's power music with contrasting vocals and appearance. Being in Japanese is a bonus for me. I turn any subtitles off - I find them distracting from the visual and the effect of song in general. Listening to non English music for some time now (kpop, Russian, Arabic) I've found a significant benefit is not understanding the words
The audio of them is very high pitched, like turned up 2-3 octaves. Please listen to it at normal speed/pitch. It's much better. However, nice reaction. I enjoyed your commentary. Pmease keep it up.

all their songs are pretty freaking epic (check out megitsune.), but some of the lyrics are a bit absurd and..well, kiddish. Especially in their first album when they were kids.

I think within a year or two Su will go solo. She's be en a great singer from the time of Karen Girls when she was 10 or so.

But yeah, the second the "band" breaks up is the second the entire thing crashes down..people go to see those three doing their song and dance, and as they are becoming older and older, they are becoming more popular in the west.
