Elite pilots of the Chinese Air Force are currently undergoing intensive training with their fifth-generation J-20 stealth fighters to test their combat capabilities. The aim of the exercises is to simulate air superiority, prepare the pilots for combat, and enhance the precision of the aircraft.

Additionally, the air group is tasked with conducting routine patrols in the East China Sea Air Defense Identification Zone, combat alert patrols along China's southern coast, patrols around the Taiwan island, and flights over the Bashi Channel and the Tsushima Strait.
