@claycowthh Not to be contrarian, but honestly I'd say it was 10-15% max. Maybe a couple body shots at 30 to make the point be obviously didn't get. Any one of those shots could have sat him down at 30.
I've been kicked like that a couple times....and believe me, it's hard to keep going and not wanna just lay down til the pain passes. It really takes will and the want to still go after that. There's some tough ladies and men in MMA. For sure.
Trust me bro. EVERYTIME you get kicked in the body, it makes you wanna give up lol. The thing is, the guys you see on TV are tough enough to bite down and fight through. What you're seeing is the reaction from a guy who's never actually fought, or even sparred before
He threw that kick with half the power he could have too. He's very deliberate with his hip movement which means he's holding back. If he just whipped that out, fat boy would be done.
He basically took him down with one arm, controlled him on the mat with one arm, circling around him like a turntable!with one arm He was extremely mellow with him. His kicks were held back, way back
I lived in a house with an MMA fighter once. He was the nicest guy. One day I saw him with bloody knuckles and asked him what happened. He said a guy picked a fight with him while he was waiting in a line. He told me he told the guy he didn't want to fight with him, and when he threw a punch anyway, my friend got him to the ground and was doing some ground and pound. I asked what happened then, and he said he eventually felt bad for the guy, and stopped.
I still don't understand how people actually think they can walk into a gym like that and challenge anyone at all. The amount of restraint and mercy Chris showed was no joke, then the guy talks after getting owned. Even a very new UFC fighter will destroy most people on the street, let alone a very experienced one. Something tells me that this dude still may not have learned anything here.
Didn't see this earlier. I posted pretty much the same just now after being blown-away by the less-than-averageness of the street guy. Clearly just looking for his 15 minutes.
It's ego. Plain and simple. We see it all the time in my bjj classes. People come in and think they'll tear everyone up because they do well against their drunk friends. They then proceed to get folded up like lawn chairs by one stripe white belts. 🤦♂️
It's nuts sn't it? Noone in any other discipline not just fighting would anyone think they could go match a pro at their craft. The fact he's arguing at the end shows he hasn't learned a damn thing though.
You can absolutely tell the 200-0 guy did not want to hurt chris curtis. He was being humble and going easy on him 200-0 is no joke. Only person that might really give that 200-0 guy a real challenge maybe even beat him is the one and only the king 👑 pound for pound the GOAT Charlie Z☝️ with an absolutely incredible record of 331-0
That kick to the gut was probably 5% of what Curt was capable of. He’s laughing the whole time and this guy still asks for more. No respect from that dude!
"I will fucking change your life, forever". If you train martial arts at top level it will be easy to understand the scary connotation those words have.
You don't need to train in martial arts to understand that a jacked guy who just kicked your ass in slow motion should scare you if he decides to ramp up to combat speed. Even fish brains can recognize that sort of obvious danger.
this is amazing. pissing Chris, who must be one of the nicest guys in the world just for not hurting this guy, to the point Sean Strickland is the one trying to chill him is an outstanding feat. what a specimen.
That guy was really lucky to go into that kind of gym and wind up going against someone who didn't even try to hurt him. Most of the time if you go into a fighting gym and try to talk smack and say you'll kick anyone's ass in there, you can expect to wind up in the ring with someone who will try to smash your face in and score a few extra shots after you're down and out just to prove a point. Pretty pathetic that the dude saw someone being merciful to him as an opportunity to preserve his ego and keep talking shit.
A true martial artist with any sense would just laugh it off. It's the same principle when you know your capabilities and are met with adversity in a public scenario. Most true martial artists will not engage with people they know have no real fighting experience, maybe in self defense or to help someone but that's about it. I'm glad to see people in this gym acknowledged this self proclaimed street fighter was a fake and just laughed it off, and escorted him out the door. It shows self restraint.
@@wisechoice8862 Conversely, sometimes an asswhooping is the best thing you can give someone. Guys like this are delusional, so a little reality check goes a long say
The respect he showed tons of fun while sparring was what real men do. He could have put that man in the ICU if he put ANY effort into it other than going through the motions and just sparring. Awesome job.
Chris put enough power into the fight to respect the fact that the man was willing to step in to the ring with him but he also wasn't going to make the fight into a slaughter. His response to the disrespect he received after was him saying that if the man wanted more he was willing to give him the slaughter he held back from.
This guy saying he has 200 street fight wins to a professional fighter is like me saying i scored 200 touchdown as a backyard football wide receiver to an nfl cornerback.

You have to be some kind of sociopath to beat the dogshit out of a mentally ill dude who thinks he can fight.
it just shows even tho u can win 100+ street fights your still no match for a pro going 30% power and skill. trained on any level always wins
@claycowthh Not to be contrarian, but honestly I'd say it was 10-15% max. Maybe a couple body shots at 30 to make the point be obviously didn't get. Any one of those shots could have sat him down at 30.
When Sean turns into the voice of reason you know shit ain't right 🤣
My main take away exactly. That guy has no clue how lucky he is that it was Chris in there.
Sean playing peacemaker makes the world seem off...lol
Steroids tough life
Imagine getting kicked so hard that it makes you want to give up, and then not realizing that everything that came after was just a warning.
Bro you’ve obviously never trained in mma then😂 ive been kicked so hard it winded me and i almost threw up lol
Naa. The kick was just a warning to his power. He was being nice
He basically took him down with one arm, controlled him on the mat with one arm, circling around him like a turntable!with one arm
He was extremely mellow with him.
"eventually" lol
So he injured his hands?
Yeah, I asked him, and he said that when he was on top punching him sometimes he also punched the sidewalk.@@JoeyCentral

Doesn’t require a ufc fighter, majority of good amateurs in ANY combat sport could beat the fuck out of anyone on the street.
In a street anyone can win.

The world ain't ready for that yet

Besides he's gonna fk up Strickland first for badmouthing him in this video
You had me for a minute there in the first half 😂
That kick to the gut was probably 5% of what Curt was capable of. He’s laughing the whole time and this guy still asks for more. No respect from that dude!
Did Chris just straight up say " I'm gonna turn him into Simple Jack real quick!" ? ? ? Lmao!
That killed me lol

"You either die a hero or you live long enough to become the villain." -Chris Curtis
Sooo lucky...damnit lol...he needed that ass beaten
Dustin would have sent him to the ER 🤣
A true martial artist with any sense would just laugh it off. It's the same principle when you know your capabilities and are met with adversity in a public scenario. Most true martial artists will not engage with people they know have no real fighting experience, maybe in self defense or to help someone but that's about it. I'm glad to see people in this gym acknowledged this self proclaimed street fighter was a fake and just laughed it off, and escorted him out the door. It shows self restraint.

With a fighters record, usually the wins are the first number, then followed by the losses. This guy decided to switch them around, causing a little bit of confusion for the rest of us.
I’ve dealt with people similar during camps. Literally will lecture you about fighting without zero evidence of their experience. Don’t blame Curtis for being angry. Fighters spend hours, days, weeks and years preparing for fights, so disrespectful when a nobody who doesn’t even train thinks he’s better then you without even putting in half the work you have.

omg i even forgot to mention, i said id only hit him in the body and he could do whatever and he still uttered that nonsense. now days if someone wants to "spar" or test me i dont even give that chance. i was being far too nice and accidentally boosting idiots confidence, which is my fault in a way. dont go too easy or you wont teach anything
