Very nice! If I had a Sawstop that would be a great quick print. My craftsman only has a small fence for now but I hope to get to printing a few things for that soon. I have printed a couple of feather boards in PETG and they work well.

Nice - yea more safety devices and other workshop hacks are on my list in the next few week. I think you could still print a modified version of my idea even on a smaller fence. Just would take your own designing

Like the video and would love to get into 3D printing. In the video, you said that it was "about $450". The link you put to Amazon is $870 and a lot more than I would spend on this. Is the link correct, or has the price changed that much? - Chris

I wonder if that’s an Amazon issue.
The printer is under $500 on the FlashForge USA site. I’ll try to rectify that link.

@@workshop_edits , they have the Lite version for $299. From what I can gather, the only difference is no WiFi interface, so you have to load from a flash drive. No big deal there obviously since that's what you're doing. - Chris.

Ahh. Probably doesn’t have the inner camera for remote monitoring too, but there is no app so it’s not super convenient and I have yet to set it up.

It would be real cool to make the difference in the sides thickness the same as a sheet of 3/4 plywood ( or whatever) That way you can make a cut, flip your stop around and make the next cut and then cut out the middle for a dado.

thats an awesome addition to it - it feels like one of those things that could be many things in one - like you could use the other side to do just that so you have a regular half inch block like mine, and then the dado spacer on the other side, and then whatever else you can think of too add!

Cutting a dado as you described would end up being 3/4" + the width of the saw kerf.
