As a southern hemisphere player, i'm praying that if Nintendo wants to do an Autumn themed update for Northern hemisphere players then they better theme a Spring update for us; Halloween is in the spring for us so i really hope that they actually pay attention to their Southern Hemisphere players and give us some love for ONCE 🥺
Vegetables might be a gimme to the southern hemisphere, since it would be odd to grow them in fall/winter here. But most likely they'll be something to do with Franklin and harvest festival.

colin3ds One of the things I hope they improve for the next game is aim for a more open world, no more loading screens while walking in and out of buildings and a free camera. I also want them to play around with the style a bit. I think their only focus this time was bringing animal crossing to HD, which they achieved well.
I like how she time traveled to see the fall stuff. I hope the updates are similar to the others expect ruining my house cause it’s the only good thing on my island. But if there’s anything ruining my fishing rock hunting or etc with items I don’t need again I quit.

Umm how so? Easter falls in autumn in Australia. Just like it did in the game. Christmas falls in summer in Australia, just like it will in the game. Halloween falls in spring in Australia, just like it will in the game. 🤷♂️

it actually sucks living in the southern hemisphere, we started out in autumn and its so frustrating to always be 2 seasons behind the updates. we got the summer update when it was snowing everyday :((
I would really like a furniture set update, where they add back in old fan favorite sets. There just isn't enough unique furniture in this game compared to the older titles. And when the coffee shop is added, I really hope it is its own building and not a museum add-on. Everyone has made make-shift cafes in their towns already, I would put the coffee shop in that space in my town.

8:24 the Cooking/Farming mechanics with the depth of the Crafting mechanics/DIY system and Vegetables/Dishes might be coming included in upcoming Fall update for the game, since my Villagers and Friend Villagers is making frenquent mention to food and Cooking, and the third and final expansion to the Museum adding the Roost vastly expanded acting like a real cafeteria/Restaurant,Museum Shop, Gyriods and the return of the Luck mechanics, since the inclusion of King Kut Mask was quite suspicious.
My personal theory is that crops will be added to the game as a nice addition to the Thanksgiving event. You grow things beforehand, in order to prepare. You'd need to obtain DIY recipes, naturally, which could be given to you either on the Thanksgiving event, or found in bottles or balloons, just like past events. Maybe on Thanksgiving you'd get extra, unique recipes as well? This would also be fun later on for Halloween, as the player could grow pumpkins. I think it'd make a lot of sense.
I have to say i really hope the villagers dont chase you down, thats one thing i hate especially if you have something of value in your pockets. Yeah ik you can always order more but thats just a full day of waiting for something you JUST had
I think there should be an adult mode.. so you can have passive agressive dialog again, less content would be sensored ect. Dunno how this would work tho 🤔

There are certain sea creatures only available during winter. Also the Nook Inc wetsuit is a full length suit so I feel like it would keep my character warm in the cold water.
Hopefully it'll be announced in a week or so because people rumour a direct, they think its fully related to 35th anniversary of Mario but I think it will be mostly based around the anniversary but maybe an Animal Crossing update will be shown right at the end.
