This is awesome, I was trying to figure out how to knit a double brim without using 2 sets of needles at the same time.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question but when finding the live stitches to make double thick cuff are the purl dash lines on the back of the provisional cast on what you are picking up?

How do you calculate the decreases ? I’m doing a hat co 102 and i thought 17 stitches or should it be 10 then place marker ? Not sure how many to have at the row before the last when all’s 2tog. I like the crown to lay flat not pointy . Thank you

Id rather do a single brim instead of double its gonna be a bit thick for my liking

This is one of the most needlessly complicated tutorials I’ve seen from Yarnspirations, the first half is ridiculous.

Im baffled at how she started doing this hat pattern ! I dont think its beginner friendly . What is a provisional cast on and what its used for ? Why doesnt she start knitting with the peach yarn? Will she keep the blue yarn or take it off?
