I just made this beanie for my friend. It looked so good considering that this was my first try to knit a beanie. I will keep knitting from your videos. Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Hey, I loved this video tutorial and I'm going to follow this to make a beanie. Can I know for 22 inches/56cm circumference how many stitches I have to cast on? I'm using DK light weight #3 yarn with a 4mm circular needle. It's gauge is 22sts*30rows for 10*10cm.
I love this hat but I’ve tried so many times & can’t get decreases to work. Not sure what I’m doing wrong, I’ve rewatched in slow motion so many times. I think it’s to do with stitches being out of pattern after decrease round, just looks messy. Also it looks like you’re knitting through back loop on knit stitches? But can’t really see as yarn too dark. I’d be really grateful if you could help. Thank you 😊
Thank you for this great video❤️ I have a question. If i get it right, in R1 (4:59) there is decrease after 14 loops. But in R2 (8:05) there is no decrease? P.s. I hope i said "loop" right 🙈
Very nice hat, I start to decrease, but I’m lost, I put the marker like you said, but I have remaining stitches, I think I’m wrong, could you please help me, I really like to finish this hat is beautiful, thank for great job
When placing markers for an adult size: basically you need to divide the stitches to 4 equal amounts, anf divide one 1/4 part in half. For example when cast on is 120 stitches, you should place markers as follows: (K,p) 7x, purl 1, PM, (k,p) 15x, PM, (k,p) 15x, PM, (k,p) 15x, PM, (k,p) 7x, purl 1
@@theanimefan00 Thank you for your direction, and I would like to know more about marking the places. You suggested "purl 1" after (k.p)x7 and also "purl 1" at the last after (k.p)x7. If putting purl 1 in these places, the stitch might be misaligned. Am I wrong??? I would be glad if you teach me what I misunderstand.
Hi! I don't understand in placing the marker. please help me :'( (k,p) x 7, PM, (k,p) x 14, PM, (k,p) x 14, PM, (k,p) x 14, PM, (k,p) x 7. if i computed that, that's 56st but you casted 112st right? kinda confused.
@@dominiquesalinas7157 yes,If you have made it to a certain length. If you haven't started doing it yet, I suggest that you can change it to 124 stitches, and the multiple of four will be easier to calculate

I loved this video which was easy to follow. Kristina, I agree with you. I just made this hat and it turned out beautifully. I appreciate anyone who takes the time to post and show their talent.

very clear vidio but would like to know what size yarn you used.
Thank you so much. I am using Drops - Extra Fine.
I just interested in knitting, are there different kinds of knitting yarns? If yes what kind of knitting yarn do you use for this one? Thank you

P.s. I hope i said "loop" right 🙈
Loops are find. Most patterns require a non decrease row to improve the uniformity
Great video! I cannot wait to try it
Hello! When I start to knit stitches together I found out that I have to purl together. Will the scheme work out that way?
What size yarn does this hat use? And are there written instructions somewhere? Barbara
I have been knitting for decades doing continental I have never seen anyone scoop their yarn from back to front what type of knitting is this?
That looks like a Norwegian purl

Hey Ruffy. Can you please text me on instagram (aurute_va)?
@@handmadebyaura64 Oh thank you for answer me, I did days ago, but I gonna do again, thank you thank you
Hello, how long are the circular needles you are using? I’ve been trying to find a good length of circular needles for hats.
16 inche circular needles I find are the best for hats
@@Julielovescrochet 😊👍🏽
1:46 what weight of yarn are you using? DK?
I am using DROPS Merino Extra Fine and YES it's DK :)
Hi Aura
Total 112 stitches but according to your instructions on PM, the total is 56.
May I ask how many PM all together?
Thank you❤
That (k+p)×56. That makes total of 112 stitches. She has given the count in pairs of knit and purl
Is skpo same as ssk...??
Yes :)
Very nice. What size needle? 4mm?
Thank you. Needle size is 3mm 😊
I would like to make this hat for an adult. Do I just use larger needles? Do you have an adjusted pattern for a larger size?
I would like to know this too

knit+purl = 2 stitch
