there is no big luggage storage on the public bus. The easiest way is to take a taxi or alternatively, you can take the MRT, it has stops all around the island

From there head to the bus stop and take either bus 62,63,80,100 or 158. get off at the 3rd bus stop and then walk to your hotel.

Do the taxis offer 5-6 seaters? I’ll be going there as a group and I think taking a taxi to the hotel first would be much more convenient
there are 5-6 seater taxis. the are called maxi-cabs. but there are limited number of them on the roads.
