Just working my way through your video. I LOVE Singapore Changi! It's a "destination" unto itself. Anyway, just a tip. You and several other RUclipsrs seem to all be heading to the Yotel Transit Hotel in SIN. While $200 USD is expensive for six hours, that price increases exponentially for every hour past six, rapidly becoming outrageous. There is a full-line conventional Crowne Plaza in Terminal 3 that is far more spacious, has conventional check-in/out times (15:00 - 12:00), and, although more expensive initially, becomes competitive with Yotel after that initial six hour stay. Book ahead and one can get a decent room for ~$250 USD. Might consider that should you return in the future.
Definitely, Spore airport not only the food is cheaper than many airports including those in China, but we have many international cuisine to choose from . Chinese,. indian, Indonesian , Thai, western, Vietnamese n local Sporean hawker center food
Thank You for visiting Singapore. Hope you guys had a good time at our airport. Hope you guys can spend more time here and enjoy our local hawker food.
My guess was correct that you ate at Burger King. It was also one of my choices when I ate at the same place in the airport but I went with something more local and ordered Nasi Lemak for around 8SGD. That was almost 5 years ago. We will be back in Singapore this Wednesday hence me watching a lot of Singapore vlogs :)
I've done the sleeping on the ground thing at this airport and I was traveling solo too! So had to park my luggage in a corner that was safe and no matter what things wouldn't disappear. There were plenty of others who were floor sleeping. It wasn't bad at all, and I slept well. But, would recommend that people book a hotel room in the airport way in advance if you have any type of health problem.. just so that you can sleep decently and your body doesn't feel compromised. And if you're solo traveling you might also consider a hotel room because no one is going to keep an eye out for your luggage whilst you sleep. One last thing - there are luggage storage places around but open only during certain hours. Researching all of that in advance is so very important!
You’re so right! We always felt like ‘we see how we feel and we can always book a room a few days before’. But even a few weeks before everyone was booked out. I would never do it again 🙈 If you are an easy sleeper, it's okay, but the night seemed forever for us! And if you travel solo, it is probably worse!
@@LetsMeetAbroad Thank you! I don't travel much at all.. and hope to soon transit through Singapore again.. and will for sure book a room much in advance of my trip.. esp. since I tend to solo travel.. and so I'll have to save up well too to afford those expensive hotel rooms 😄 .. and consider it will be well worth it.. and being able to shower, meditate, etc. in the silence and privacy of one's own room.. maybe worthwhile for many.
06:22 I feel for you here as we’re in a similar situation as I’m Canadian but Alan is Indonesian and it’s so much more complicated with an unjust passport system.
Very very useful video, I will really go to see the waterfall and that big mall, bye the way the original Nutella is made in Germany and even so you don't want to know how is made that Nutella, my opinion next time bye a black chocolate or whatever type and you will be much more ok instead of Nutella.
Outstanding Airport from what I see. I think the most interesting thing was a cotton candy machine. Of course prices are going to be Premium. Outstanding from start to finish
What night of the week was this recorded please? I ask because it didn’t look too busy to find a seat to sleep I have a 6 hour and a 10 hour layover at Singapore airport dry soon
No matter How tired or sleepy I am ,I will never put my smelly feet on the public lounge or hotel coffee tables .As a Singaporean, your feet on the table did piss me off
Best airport to spend a day! The credit card advice I don't really get: spending €20 a month for services you can get for cheaper without a monthly commitment.
You mentioned with Indian passport you can't visit Jewel. I understand if you have the US visit you can. Can you pls clarify bcoz I will be traveling from India to the US with long layover at Changi
I thought schiphol was hard to beat but what a fun airport to hang out !! I hope you find a quiet corner for a nap when you get tired. Good to see you. All that yummy food !! Happy travels !! 🇳🇱💕🌷
Take it easy, it's hard to come up with perfect wording in a foreign language impromptu. Also, an Indian passport isn't as powerful as a European one, we will get there.
burger king? I knew it was burger king at the end of the food court. For thirteen years, four times a year and counting, my layovers are in Changi airport.
Yes Malay is a Race and Malaysian is Nationality. Almost every Vlogger make this mistake. You can have Malaysian Chinese food, Malaysian Indian food, Malaysian Malay food.

I was impressed!! And yes, especially by the prices! 😄
There is also a "Staff Cafeteria" that's open to the public. Might save a little more by utilizing that facility.

This time not, but we will visit Singapore soon 🦴

Yes you do!
No we didn’t need to show anything
What night of the week was this recorded please?
I ask because it didn’t look too busy to find a seat to sleep

You got more hours of layout.

Yup. Some people just have bad upbringing.
@@uwet.8826 And yet he complains a lot. "Not luxury enough", "not to my expectation". Compare to where he comes from.?
Exactly... poor upbringing
What lens have you used in the video?

Yes, it was so much fun. Hopefully Schiphol becomes something like this someday haha
Hello!
You could enter Singapore with an Indian passport to stay for 96 hours if you have a confirmed ticket and visa to the next destination.
I guess the rules changed after covid?
Nah, not anymore. You need a proper tourist visa to enter Singapore even for a few hours
Why Myra said wrong passport ?
Take it easy, it's hard to come up with perfect wording in a foreign language impromptu. Also, an Indian passport isn't as powerful as a European one, we will get there.
‘Wrong’ for a visa on arrival for Singapore.. no worries, not meant ‘wrong’ in any bad way 😉
@@LetsMeetAbroad Okay

all of Asia's flavours at your fingertips and they had burgers and coke. When you have no taste...
Traveling for 6 months through Asia eating around 600 times Asian meals and 2 times Burger King. I think we do pretty good
