I fish lake Cumberland and green river lake in Kentucky in March I know jerk baits are awesome but deep diving crank still work as the bass make their transition to spawning season
Well i just got 2nd place and the big fish at a tourney here in az slow rolling a white willow spinner over hydrilla next to a jetty. So yes that tactic does work.
Love the content. Great stuff, I just subscribed. I've always liked your personality since I have been following fishing. Never forget that week on Lake Champlain, you have had such a great career. Fyi, forage is the process of searching for food, its not actually food.
How about if you subscribe, like & watch the videos, bought the book. Bought the kids a couple Ike Abu rod/reel combos but cannot get selected for a hat on Manic Monday..? How about Thursday-Titfer for a big time fan lol 😂. (Titfer is British slang for a hat) C’mon Ike that’s creative! Anyway great video, thanks for the content.

Tell me about it. And the stinking CAP isn't running anymore. Talked to a water guy the other day and he said it might be running again in 30 to 40 years. That's always been my go to when I don't have time to get to a lake or river
Yo-yoing a craw pattern Red-eyed shad in Feb. works south of VA too in case anybody was wondering.
I have youtube running for noise at work, auto played this video and for a second I thought I was at church. Man speaks like a preacher lol
I love how you give perspectives from both areas of the country I live in DC so a lot of vids focus mainly on southern fishing
Thanks Mike, always learning something new from your in the shop videos which has helped improve my bass game down here is southwest Florida.

historically for you this time of year, what percentage of giant bass would you guess you catch on search baits vs work the area baits vs clean up?

lipless crank, jerk bait, spinner bait/ chatterbait, Soft plastic worm. there is saved you 20 mins of yapping 😂.
Fishing has sucked for me in Ga. But I see lots of others catching
Ike, what’s the lowest water temp that you will still throw a lipless?
Mid 50's!!!
Fishing has been hit or miss in AZ with the erratic weather
