You are my favorite, just started fishing about year ago and your videos go with me in the boat to help me while I’m fishing!!! Thanks so much for the help!!!!! Never Give Up!!!!
Hey Mike, I do like your fish and tips and I watch all your fishing videos of the shop but you know I live in Minnesota, but my hometown is in del rio Tx .. and I’ve been seeing the weather and it’s crazy some parts of Texas it’s snowing and here in Minnesota. It’s 45 to 55°. i’m pretty sure the bass here in Minnesota are going to spawn early this year.. so I’m guessing he’s just got a guess what they want so ima use all 4 them up north see and find the pattern.
I don't like to target fish that are spawning usually, but do you have any tips when the spawning fish grab the bait by the tail and drop it outside of the nest without putting the hook in their mouth?
Keep going , until they start doing donuts 🍩 they aren't mad enough yet. Clark Wendlandt , great bed fisherman says when he has a stubborn one , a Texas rigged tube is the trick . I believe white color code
@@iLearnt-IT-on-You-Tubes In my state we’re allowed unlimited amount of hooks per line but on the river they only allow 3. If I throw it on the river I only use 3 hooks and I’ll put a willow blade on the others instead of a dummy Swimbait so the fish don’t eat plastic by accident
Shout out to my home lake Smith Mtn. Going to head out looking for fat girls today. How are you retrieving those flat side cranks? Thanks as always. This is the only series I literally can’t wait for each month.
It's absolutely ridiculous and gone too far. I've been trying to watch these tournaments the last few weeks and it's been 99 % ffs only. That's what pro bass fishing is now. Hunting for and fishing live on a screen. It's not "just a tool". It's what we are going to see from now on, the overwhelming majority of the time. All year, every tournament. Who can fish on a video game the best wins, from now on. Unless ur a tournament angler, where it gives you the best and only chance to be consistently competitive, I can't imagine there are too many fisherman that want to find fish and fish live on screen? For me, that would ruin fishing. What's the point if I can shine sonar everywhere and always know what's there and watch them react, etc. I know ffs is a skill to learn, but that's besides the point.
A minnow on a jig head, see fish on screen throw to fish and thats all you need in today's shit show! Ill watch when FFS is banned and the real hammers like you and others that spent their lives learning how to find fish in all situations start being a factor again.
Never thought of using a bluegill bait for spawning fish, and I'm definitely going to use it this spring.
I love the flat sided crankbaits? Frittside love the bluegill 5Biggun for me!
Thanks, Mike, for your videos. I am just getting back into bass fishing. I have followed you for years. You are a great fisherman. Keep it coming.

I'm gonna hook up the boat and drive to the lake Sunday. If its frozen I'll turn around and be sad. We are day to day up here. Fingers crossed.
I hope it's not!
@@mikeiaconellifishing It wasn't frozen! only found ice on one small back bay. Water temp 38-41. Season is started
I ❤ shop videos

Shorten the bait! Get the back of the bait as close to the hook as possible!
What water temperature do you consider pre spawn? I'm in Missouri and my lake is 47 and muddy
Low to mid 50's!
How bout the Gilly on a tokyo rig?
SSHHHH!! That is some JUICE!!!
Man he forgot the rattle trap !! 😮
Also a GREAT pick!!
It was 50-60 last weekend now its 20-30. Even if its 60 the water is still 40 and the fish are still lazy. IM OVER IT!
Water is in the low 40s here also. Been cracking them on A-Rigs and jerk baits
@@BassAngler really? I just bought a bunch of mini a-rigs maybe its time to test em out. What do you use for dummy hooks?

@@BassAngler dang thats smart. I have some of the painted Picasso blades iv had no use for but now i do. Thanks 👍🏾

So sick and tired of hearing about livescope, shit needs to be banished off the planet smh

Not a fan of the gilly. Just casting and retrieving it wears it out and tares it up .
Don't ever jerkbait fish than haha jk
Hey Mike ... Grow some balls and speak out against ffs. Guess you profit from it too much?
Sorry Ike I have to disagree here. Up north we’re still ice fishing. Not close to prespawn yet.
Idk about this guy Ike but here in Pennsylvania between the Schuylkill & The Susky we are full on pre-spawn
