Lets GO!!! 2025, BABY! Hey- I REMEMBER that FLYING LURE! I was like 15 years old. They caught so many on that infomercial that I had to get some. Those special jigheads were cool, but it sure was difficult to get the right presentation. I caught a few on it, but I would honestly rather use a traditional tube! I've NEVER SEEN this backsliding fluke! I bet it will work good in these Middle Tennessee creeks, too!💯 Thanks for the info, man! Have a great one, brother!🤘
For a non back sliding presentation, I use a 90° offset EWG weedless jig hook for similar rigging. They can also fit in a Do-it molds' weighted EWG mold. Flukes, Slug-Gos and stick worms get a natural wiggling swimming action on the drop, and the top line tie position allows them to dart from side to side really easily on the retrieve.
I like the idea. I would love to see this underwater. I am having trouble envisioning how this looks "normal" when jigging. Seems like the tail would fold over as it is being pulled backwards.
You are missing it… in the first 30 seconds of the video, Mike said it was the “back sliding” fluke. It’s a completely different presentation of the same bait.
GREAT ,,, BUT MIKE ,,, OMG PLEASE DON'T WET THAT LEAD WEIGHT WITH YOUR MOUTH. Spit on your finger or something . We all want you around for years to come.
This is a really cool technique. Can’t wait to try it.
Awesome hack Mike!! Will try it for sure!! Stay Safe & God Bless!! 🤠👍

Freaking awesome technique Mike.
Thank you soooo much.
Good stuff from the Pro thanks Ike👍✌
Great idea Ike! I can’t wait to try it!
Cool concept will add that to my arsenal of presentations. Thanks!

Happy new year Mike 🎉
Happy New Year to you too!
Thanks for the insight I can only imagine how this strategy could work fishing in the saltwater holes..
Great tips. Reminds me of the “hover rig”!
@@GR8smallie_angler hover rig is not nose weighted. And not rigger backward.
keep giving video gifts. thanks
I fish the fluke with a 3/4 Texas rig and do well
Mike you did a two for one old school lure. Flying lure and the helicopter lure.
Feels like this would work for Bay Bass. Gonna give it a shot.
stripers too🎣
And how dit that work for the flying lure?
You are a genius, Happy New Year. Love the idea, would you scent this.
Thanks! Happy New Year to you too, I always scent my lures!
I need flukes without hook slits. I use them to catch speckle trout. Not much plastic to hold jighead

Ok, i might be missing something here, how does it have the traditional twitching motion if the line tie is in the back?

Having a Fluke swim backwards is like the Kredge. Unnatural , fail to see how it would get any interest .
think like a fish!

This is insane
Good thing he wasn't biting down a split shot😂@DaltonBrake-g5d
