  • Another good session in the heart of Manchester! Joined by EoinFishing and In-Search-of-Perch!
    Got the BFS gear out again used small lures and as someone once said, "Big lures catch big fish, small lures catches all the fish"! Well kinda...didn't catch all but caught some and we had so much fun!
    Difficult to beat BFS Fishing around the city!

    “Snag Master Flash” - that would work!😂🤣
    I thought that cobra chicken was gonna launch an attack. Good job diffusing that situation.
    Good call on saving that rod on the pack under the bridge. I did that on my FIRST UltraSkiff launch under a bridge when I had all my poles in the rod holders standing up.🤦🏻
    Good catches man, beautiful fish for sure. It’s neat to see the diversity in that ecosystem, but those toothy critters seem to be the dominant species for sure.

      Haha cobra chicken 🤣 it's all good I'm used to them by now, bit more aggressive when they have babies goslings though 😅
      Wow that probably was expensive 😬😬 everytime I would hit my rod on that bridge so annoying.
      There's a lot of pike on that stretch, true but when the bite is on you'll catch a lot more perch! But yeah that stretch is really pikey! There's carp, bream (not panfish) and roach as well and probably some other smaller species!

    Love it, just unboxed my first BFS combo. Can't wait to slay some perch on it down here in Australia (amongst others things).

      Oh man you're going to get addicted to that! Not that different from UL to be honest, but if you like baitcasters and the accuracy you can have with them it's a great think to have in your arsenal! Thanks for watching man!

      There's some huge ones there Patrick, hopefully I'll get to a big urban pike soon! There's a couple spots that we know of that have a couple 20lb right in town, just impossible to get them to take any lures probably because they've been caught so many times.

    Where do you park cars if you want to fish around here

    • @zombiebitefishing
      @zombiebitefishing  10 месяцев назад +1

      Normally any of the car Parks in town. Unfortunately they're so expensive, it's unreal. If you go early you might find some spots near the houses around the area, but not as safe as I've seen lots of cars with broken windows around there 😕
