Nice one mate. I’ve been smashing the Weaver still, thought my luck was turning, had some nice chub and some perch about the pound mark. Really had the feeling the big one was coming but I’ve skunked badly the last few trips and been eaten alive by bugs 😂
It’s not the easiest river to fish mate takes a while to figure it out. Keep plugging away and you will find a few bigger ones as they are certainly in there. May well see you on the bank soon 👍🏻👊🏻

What elf trout rod have u got there what gram and did u get it off ali express.
Hi Charlie. It’s the elf trout 622ul it’s rated at 1-5g. I was lucky enough to find this one listed on eBay, they seem to be difficult to get hold of now. The ajing rods are still being sold on AliExpress though. Cheers for watching 👍

They are 7ft 5in so a foot longer, faster action and they are rated at 0.6-7g. Would be great for places where space to cast isn’t a issue. If not have a look at the dexterity 2. Pretty similar ratings etc just faster action. Cheers fella appreciate the kind words! Tight lines!
