It can be a bit of a steep learning curve pal but hope this helps. Set the spool tension, keep the brakes high to start, keep the cast smooth and thumb the spool and you should be fine! Hope it goes well 👍🏻 let me know how you get on 👍🏻👌🏻

Yeah there were a good few bank fishing up towards the shallow end on that day. Looks like it still produces a variety of fish 👍🏻

I usually fish them on a size 1/0 jig head however they can be weedless rigged. Cast out, let it sink to the bottom and give it a steady retrieve. Usually works well 👍🏻👊🏻

There’s plenty of fish in there it’s just access points that can be the problem. I’ve not fished past the spots on this video towards Eastham way but I can’t see why there wouldn’t be decent fish up there. It might be a case of trying to find some shallower spots on that arm and have a go when the water clears up a bit. For whatever reason the fish tend to shoal up in shallower spots and go off the boil when the waters got colour in it. Sorry I can’t be of more assistance. Tight lines 👍🏻

Hi there, I think it’s more about where and how your fishing the lures rather than just the lure of you get me. I usually use lures around 7 to 10cm on there, mainly shads but creatures work well too. Anything like westin slimteez or keitech swing impacts will do the job. Usually the lighter colours work well. But as I say it’s usually a case of finding the bigger fish. Moving spots and working the lure low and slow to start with. Hope this helps 👍🏻

Hi there, the fee is per boat then a 5er each to fish. So it costs you 20 per person as the boat is suitable for 2 people. You get a car park ticket included so that’s covered in the cost of the boat hire etc. hope that helps 👍🏻👍🏻

@supremededge3204 yeah totally get that pal. It’s a lot easier to get out for a few hours and travel light. So at that money I’d be looking at a shimano curado or slx bfs for the reel and possibly a westin w3 5-15g rod. Quality set up that will last some time 👍🏻👍🏻 ps you should be able to cast a little under/over the casting weight of the rod 👍🏻👍🏻

@@insearchofperch8170 It's lovely mate but expensive! I would say the river has become more unpredictable, and definitely far less bigger perch! Definitely a few 3lbers knocking about but not as prevalent as it used to be. Requires ALOT of searching these days, they seem to move alot during the summer and autumn. Cracking fish though mate! Super strong this time of year too! My best is 3lb 14oz from the same route you took, can't exactly say where for obvious reasons - there are a few 3lbers hanging around it's just finding them as is the game with perch!!

I’m using a couple on there. The heavier set up used for the spin bait and chatter bait is a revo exd and tsurinoya pterosauria 6-23g and the soft plastic rod and reel is a majorcraft days ml and a Aldebaran mgl 51 👍🏻
