That's how it is for me. I have one with Cherry MX Blue switches and I love it. It was a bundle deal with a mouse that I got at GameStop for $60. So glad I got it.

I have a corsair keyboard with the stock silent red cherry switches, it's all you need if you don't like the clicks.

as in a membrane. get atleast a mechanical. it unironically helps with games. red switches are the best for that
