    The hip drop has always been one of my favorite moves in belly dance-I remember being mesmerized by this move as it just looked like the hips were moving all by themselves. And it's such a fun move to do, even if it can be tricky to time! Be sure to refine your technique with our hip drop TUTORIAL: bit.ly/JBDHipDrop And just for funsies, check out our 100 Subscriber thank you video with 100 HIP DROPS! 😁🍾❤️ bit.ly/JBD100Subs

    Hello Jensuya and Drummer Bob from FL. I’m 53. I started with online various home videos beginner tutorial, then I signed up in person class for 10 lessons. I love it, but unfortunately, in my area, there are not a lot of instructors who do beginner class, it’s a mixed class. Although ok, but I really need the basics and beginners drills. There are many good videos, but yours to me is the most comprehensive. You are so patient with us. Also, you teach about the music and with your husband, Drummer Bob, the lessons become comprehensive. I signed up for your courses too, which is very reasonable and affordable for the quality lessons. I’m excited to go through them. I love you 5 minutes drills!

    Hi Jensuya, thanks for the informative and interactive workouts! I have a question, could you please tell us how can we maintain the basic posture while dancing? I have a tendency to untuck my pelvis during my practice which of course prevents performing any move properly

    • @JensuyaBellyDance
      @JensuyaBellyDance  3 года назад +3

      Excellent question, @Ghadeer Abuhamdia! Congratulate yourself for recognizing that you are doing that. Good for you. OK. Without seeing you, my guess is that practicing each day and constantly checking and correcting yourself will help your body to build muscle memory AND you will build the muscle and stamina to hold the posture. It is definitely a workout for your core and legs just to hold the posture. My suggestion is you practice frequently throughout the day in short sessions-even just a few minutes at a time. Also, in the following video, I give you some ideas to practice your posture: bit.ly/PosturePractice Keep practicing! Keep me posted on your progress.
