Thank you, my sister did Belly Dancing professionally in the 80's, i was there for her. I pick lot from her but never proceeded until now. I am 70 in the best shape of my life. I practice everyday and i have been professional DJ who has most of the Belly Dancing music . I do Zoomia at the gym and 5 women watch me when i belly dance the basics to my music. Francesca

I also do Karate and we used hips movement to kick and punch. The stance for hip toss with the right foot or left on your toes and the weight on your back heel helps have better balance for Suto. Hi Jensuya, We dress and practice lesson one on Sunday for 30 minutes at the dance studio at the Gym. We used a small projector on and large blue tooth speaker. I am so thankful to you for starting this lesson by reviewing what was done in the previous one, as no amount of practice is ever enough. Question: in the Aiwa pose hip drops, is it normal for the other hip to also move ever so slightly?

But concentrate on the hip dropping hip AND keeping your supporting knee bent so that your whole body doesn't bounce up and down. We want to highlight the moving of the hip. Great question! Wow, have I got to keep up. I still love belly dancing, but it is a bit harder to keep up. It also doesn't help that I still have but up some weight on me, if not more than when I started. It is hard to stay motivated because of this weight piling on, but like many have told me, I must persevere. It is just a bit hard for me to persevere, but I love belly dancing so I will try. Some advice would be good to hear on some belly dance moves to learn as well as how to stay in love with my body image.

We dress and practice lesson one on Sunday for 30 minutes at the dance studio at the Gym. We used a small projector on and large blue tooth speaker. I am so thankful to you for starting this lesson by reviewing what was done in the previous one, as no amount of practice is ever enough. Question: in the Aiwa pose hip drops, is it normal for the other hip to also move ever so slightly?

But concentrate on the hip dropping hip AND keeping your supporting knee bent so that your whole body doesn't bounce up and down. We want to highlight the moving of the hip. Great question! Wow, have I got to keep up. I still love belly dancing, but it is a bit harder to keep up. It also doesn't help that I still have but up some weight on me, if not more than when I started. It is hard to stay motivated because of this weight piling on, but like many have told me, I must persevere. It is just a bit hard for me to persevere, but I love belly dancing so I will try. Some advice would be good to hear on some belly dance moves to learn as well as how to stay in love with my body image.

When you find yourself thinking denigrating thoughts about yourself, stop what you are doing, and do some hip drops!
